Muhlenberg College's 10-1 football squad is currently ranked 15th in the country and is on the move to be #1. The Mules are playing in the NCAA Division 3 tournament, which includes 32 teams from all over the country. The team and has won its first game against Framignham State by a score of 45-0. It takes on Delaware Valley on Saturday at noon. If the Mules win, they advance to play either Mount Union or Johns Hopkins. The championship game will be played December 17.

The Framingham State team was from an obviously weak conference. I expect Delaware Valley College to be a really tough test. DVC has a lot of talented skill players from the public schools of the Philadelphia metro. Should be an interesting clash. I'm predicting DVC to win 35 - 28 but hoping the Mules can convert on the home field advantage.
Hey Bern, do you know where this Saturdays game will be held?
According to Muhlenberg's schedule, the game will be played in Doylestown at DelVal.
Mules in an easy win.
Geez. I live less than 2 miles from the Muhlenberg campus and had no idea they were this good. I read The Morning Call daily. Who knew? Instead of top tens and predictions, ‘5 things to know’ and other nonsense they have in the sports section, maybe they should actually cover this team…. Or at least report on them.
This is a point I made a few weeks ago with Miorelli on Business Matters. He tried to deny that sports coverage has become lousy. He should talk to his own reporters, or what's left of them.
THey hardly give any credit or news to Kutztown unversity --on of the best Division 2 programs in the state
