Campos Victim of Hit and Run In Courthouse Parking Lot?

Earlier this month, I told you about a hearing before the Personnel Appeals Board involving a lieutenant who was basically fired for insisting that other corrections officer follow the uniform policy. When the evidence came out, that's pretty much what happened. So this is going to be another big loser for Northampton County unless someone comes to his or her senses and reinstates this guy immediately. But something came out during the hearing that I neglected to mention before. I'll tell you about it now. It involves Operations Manager Alfie Crivellaro and Director of Administration Luis Campos.

Some months ago, some asshole smashed into Luis Campos' car, which was parked on the County lot. I imagine there would be about 2,200 suspects, and considering some of the nice things I've said about Campos, I'd have to be in the top ten.

Believe it or not, I am innocent. The person who smashed into Campos' car, and who then drive off, is none other than the very person who wanted to fire a lieutenant for enforcing the uniform policy. Operations Manager Alfie Crivellaro.

When confronted, he claimed he never knew he hit the car.

In 2010, Crivellaro and his wife were both charged with hosting an underage drinking party. After being declared ineligible for ARD, he pleaded no contest and was fined $1,000.

Now he fires people for doing their jobs.

Have EASTON PD investigate they have been real good lately. Even I can't believe they are so good.Few years back most detectives could not find their own dirty under-where in the bottom of a hamper. BUT NOW EPD is shown they are first rate, they are doing a great job here . Somebody knows 'who done it'.

It is really a shame that Crivalarro fell victim to this moment of panic. However, this is the second time he has made a bad decision. The first one was with his kids party where they served alcohol. Now the decision to walk , or should I say drive away, from a fender bender accident. Last but not least, his position at the prison in questionable. The time has come to drop the axe on him. He is not displaying the necessary leadership to fulfill the duties and obligations of his present position in the prison. He must go.

What I don't understand is how he gets away with ruining so many good peoples lives who went to work everyday because they loved their job. Not only did the camera excuse get Jason Rosati, it got Jolene Gross. They used to use absence to terminate someone, but now it is the cameras. Apparently, looking at the cameras again, this administration decided that Jolene was not at her post when she should have been and was told to resign or be fired. Mark Ananscavage is another example. Everyone knows some prison administration can be seen at the local clubs on any given Thursday night and they all come into work on Friday. Mark feel into a trap set in Classification where he went out and met with co workers and administration just like a usual Thursday evening and what was waiting for him come Friday morning? A trip to have his blood checked for alcohol. He was singled out when Harmon and Capone was just as guilty. Crivelaro was again the judge and jury to them both stating that if they did not resign they would lose their pensions. This man is not God. This man is someone who sits in his office with the door closed and sleeps off his drunken stupors. Any given Thursday night you can find him at Hecktown Fire Company Social Club drinking it up with his wife and that is ok because what you do in your private life is your business. But when you set someone up like that and ruin their career for no other reason than the fact you can, says something of your moral character. There are no warnings given. Sandra Bloom came to work for years with a drinking problem where she was sent home and told to come back when she was sober. For Mark, he was not given the chances Sandra was given. Not even told to seek rehab in order to keep your job when most of the administration are very heavy drinkers. I would love to write my name down on this response to Al Crivellaro and his smear campaign, but if I do, I will be subject to bigger problems for myself and the risk is too great. Ask around Bernie, there is more going on with the firing of good men and women at the prison than what you are led to believe, Ask for a list of all the people fired in the last 7 months and look at the reasons they were fired and you will see for yourself that something is not right at the jail.

John Brown always hated law enforcement. He fired the police chief in Bangor his first year. That buyout cost the town $300,000+

Brownstain cost Bangor $300,000 and Scomillio cost Norco closes to $300,000, now watch who ignores the arrogance of these SHADY characters and allow the prison controlled by scare tactics continue!

is an outside agency in charge of monitoring those cameras inside the jail? What is the chain of command for the tapes produced into evidence when an employee is targeted by what the administration alleges? It is the same with the prison investigations done by Nagle. he is a county employee and he is told what to write in his findings. If he didn't do this he would lose his job. Nagle, Crivellaro, Dave Penchishen, John Harman, Lynette Capone, own the philosophy do as I say, not as I do. How many countless hours did it take for the administration to come up with a questionable tape, that they have full access to edit in order to frame Rosati and Gross? They all need to be shit canned and bring in a vendor that controls the monitoring of the prison to give these terminated employees a fair shake.

@7:20 should get there facts straight. Ms. Jolene was let go for putting funds on inmates accounts and falsifying documents. If that's not means for termination than I don't know what would be?? Your smear tactics are somewhat lacking.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't CO's input funds on inmates accounts every day? As for falsifying documents, jail administrators have been doing that for years and getting away with it. When Dave was the accountant he bragged about plugging in numbers on all sorts of county documents when his numbers were never actual. The two counselors are always working the numbers of inmate beds for different agendas because they are told to. Is that considered falsifying? Depends on who you are in relation to the reports. 7:20 just seems to be expressing thoughts that have run through many minds lately within the county about how our jail administration has their own agenda to terminate decent hard workers.

I retired from the prison within the last couple of months partly because of the Brown health care changes but an even bigger factor was the culture that exists at the prison. People like Ms. Capone are what's wrong with the prison and it's time for things to change. I wonder how or why Ms. Capone ended up on so many taxpayer funded conventions in Altoona when she was just a secretary? I'm sure other prison employees would have been more deserving and gained more knowledge going to these conventions but for some reason she went year after year. Then she was given a promotion and a raise into a job she had no business getting. More skilled, higher qualified and higher testing individuals were passed over for some reason so she could be moved into this position. It makes you wonder how she got these many perks but this unfortunately is business as usual at NCP. She gives a whole new meaning to nepotism and I hope she will be investigated in the future. Some people earn their way in life but she chose a different route.

Let's also not forget about the guy who walks around in $300 shoes and only got his job because of his political and courthouse connections as well as his ties to the Lebanese community. Merit means very little within the walls of NCP.

Lynette got her transfer because she started living with her boss, Jim Fritchman. They could not live together and work together. She had no rights to the classification position, but because of the relationship with Fritchman, they moved her. That would have never happened if it was you or me, we would have been told that we did not qualify and given a few reasons why. The reasons would have nothing to do with the job description. The stories I could tell you would make me turn over in my grave.

This article is not about Miss Capone, though the posts are interesting. This is about Mr. Crivellaro and his lack of character. Someone who behaves the way he does is not fit for the position he has. He should be the one fired, not the one doing the firing.

Check the morning call article 1995 crivellaro was charged with simple assault.

what color are the $300 shoes?

Looking on the UJS website, none of Crivellaro's charges or case come up. If he could not get ARD, is it still possible for him to have his record expunged? His wife Denise has her charges removed from the public record also. How can these people get away with always looking innocent when everyone? People know him for what he really is, a self serving hypocrite that has no business working at the jail.

The guy is there. Under magistrates, not Common Pleas.

There's more you don't know about Al Crivellaro. Mr. Crivellaro has ties to his cousin Charles Bottiglieri, who was born in Easton and now is living in Hollywood, Florida, who is an associate of the Gambino crime family, according to the Florida Sun Sentinel which states, "FDLE Commissioner Robert R. Dempsey described the Gambino family as ``the largest, most influential criminal organization in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Las Vegas, Connecticut, and Florida."
