San Francisco or Eagles?

Before the Dallas game, San Francisco scared me. I now believe the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl. What's your take?

Fly Eagles Flyyyyyyyyy on to Victoreeeeee. If I were a betting man I would put my money on the Eagles. If they stay healthy, they are a cinch to be in the Super Bowl. Winning it is another thing.

49ER'S 30-31

There is way too much disrespect out there for Jalen Hurts. He is one of the best quarterbacks in the game and will take care of business on Sunday sending the Niners back to California with a sizable loss 27 - 13. GO EAGLES!

No. They won't . Remember back in the 80's the Eagles were o and 15 and the 49'ers were 15 and 0. The Eagles went out there and beat them to keep the 72 undefeated Dolphins legacy alive? Yeah, that's not happening. And, I wish they would win win. But, no.

SF beat a tougher team. The Giants are much improved, but not great. SF wins. Cincy wins at KC. Cincy wins it all.

Purdy didn't look quite so good against a strong Cowboys defense that could apply pressure. Eagles defense is even better than Dallas. Rookie QBs in conference championship games are 0-4 all time.

It won't be easy, Niners have the #1 Defense in the league and plenty of offensive weapons. This is really one of the most evenly matched games I can recall.

In the end its going to come down to Hurts vs Purdy. My money is on Hurts coming up with 2 or 3 big plays that make the difference in what should be a very close game.

I give San Fran a lot of respect, but (1) they are going to be dealing with and are not acclimated to cold; (2) the Philly fans are probably worth a few points; (3) the Eagles have been disrespected all season, and have something to prove; and (4) Purdy, their chief weapon, is going to be under a lot of pressure from a team that leads the league in sacks.

San Fran definitely belongs there, but this is an Eagles year.

I like the 49ers in this game 24-21. The Eagles have only faced a couple good defenses this year and the 49ers may be the best defense in the league. A couple of turnovers for SF will make the difference and they have just enough skill players on offense to compensate for the inexperienced rookie QB.

The team that stays focused and prepareds this week will win. Everytime the Eagles show boat before a game, they seem to disappoint. The only game that matters is this Sunday. Eagles by a field goal in the last 2 minutes of play.

Win or lose, they only real winners are the 99 percent of white team owners that exploit black trauma for profit.

Yay for modern day chattel slavery!

I predict Bosa will sack Hurts and it will hurt. Nines win.

Agree that Purdy got a glimpse of what's comin' for him this weekend.
He's gonna fold like a lawn chair. Hurts is gonna fling it to A.J. Brown big time, and Smith, and Goedert...too many for SF to stop.

With a minimum salary of 200k I'd be hard pressed to play the exploited card. Nice try, I'm sure most would rather work in their chosen field of study.

Yawn. The salary is relative to the revenue the football organization takes in, would you expect the owners to hoard all that money while never ever playing the game?

The players union has fought long and hard to get that minimum salary, and to be honest, considering the injuries that can occur on the field, they’re still underpaid.

Last I checked, signing a contact in the NFL is voluntary. Maybe your view is based on the fact that you never played competitive contact sports or wasn't very good at it.
I know plenty of middle age men that live with pain from high school/College sports. Most of them would do it all over again if given the chance, me included.
Not a single player is forced against their will to play in the NFL. So stop with the faux outrage on a nonexistent issue. What's the solution?

49ers will win, unfortunately. The Eagles have not had to face a defense like when is headed to Philly this weekend. Also, the Eagles are slightly favored only because of home field advantage, but this Niners team has shown they can thrive and feed off of hostile environments. Sadly this will not be an Eagles year no matter how much I wish it were so. I don’t think they can overcome the SF defense.
