Colonial Regional Police Department is accepting applications for its Citizens Police Academy between September 7 and November 20, 2016. The academy shows local citizens just what police do. Classes will include include accident investigation, Crimes Code, Use of Force, and more. Demonstrations and tours of the jail, 911 Center and more will be part of the academy.

The Colonial Regional Police Department was formed in 1995. It provides 24/7/365 police services for Hanover Township, Lower Nazareth Township and Bath Borough.

OT, but tucked in HB 1198, the tax package passed by the State House today is the $1.5 million dollar "Waterfront Development Tax Credit." Ah yes crony capitalism at it's best in Harrisburg. For the rest of you, keep on smoking.
