Munich Security Conference: Hillary Clinton Blasts Trump's Chaotic Ukraine Policy

At a panel discussion during this year's Munich Security Conference, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton blasted President Trump's Ukraine policy: "I think the Trump administration's position toward Ukraine is disgraceful. I think the effort to force Ukraine into a surrender deal with Putin is shameful. I think the effort that Putin and Trump are making to profit off the misery and death of the Ukrainian people is a historic error and corrupt to the nth degree. I believe Ukraine is fighting for our democracy and our values of freedom and civilization on the front lines, losing thousands of people and having their country destroyed by one man's mania to control them. And I think Trump either doesn't understand or could[n't] care less about that suffering. So that's what I think."

When asked whether Trump has destroyed the West, Clinton responded, "He has betrayed the West. He's betrayed human values. He's betrayed the NATO Charter, the Atlantic Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. A lot of what has been done before to try to make sense of how difficult it is to restrain people who want unaccountable power. And none of us in this room, including all of us on this panel, would choose to live under a regime that was so unaccountable that it could act with impunity the way that Putin does. Except that's who Trump is modeling himself after."

A pro-Trump Czech participant joked, "I think you really don't like him."

"You know, that is absolutely true," responded Clinton. "I don't like him because of what he's doing to the United States and the world. And I think you should take a hard look at it if you think that there is something good that will come out of it."

How Hillary Gets Dem Nod

Here's Hillary Clinton's most recent statement on the subject of her running for President:
"I, as I say, never, never, never say never, and I will certainly tell you I am under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it, but as of this moment sitting here in this studio, that is absolutely not in my plans."
In other words, she wants to run.

Here's how it could happen. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg and Joe Biden will each win in some primaries, but no one will have the 1,990 pledged delegates going into the Democratic convention in July. So the first ballot will fail to elect a candidate.

In the second ballot, superdelegates will be able to vote. These are party insiders who are pledge to no one. In addition, pledged delegates will be able to vote for whomever they want.

This is where Hillary will work her mischief.

Russian Assets and Asses

When Hillary Clinton appeared at Bethlehem's Liberty High School in 2008, she made sure several local Democrats knew she still remembered LV Congressman Paul McHale. Our former Congressman was among those Democrats who voted to impeach Bill Clinton for perjury. She made sure Bethlehem knew her displeasure by refusing to pay the bill for two years. She has even more reason to detest Tulsi Gabbard and Jill Stein.

Stein, a Green, ran against her in 2016, and picked up enough votes in battleground states to deny Clinton a win. Gabbard resigned as DNC Chair in 2016 to support Bernie Sanders.

Hillary, who has a long memory, blasted both on Friday as "Russian assets" with no evidence.

Kinda' like exactly what Donald "the Joker" Trump does.

It appears those on the supposed left are as plagued by conspiracy theories as those on the right. Although I'm sure there are Russian assets out there, they do not include Tulsi Gabbard, Jill Stein or even Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton is no Russian asset either. She is just an ass.

Comey Clears Clinton!

From The Washington Post: "FBI Director James B. Comey said Sunday that after reviewing newly discovered Hillary Clinton emails, his agency had again determined that the Democratic presidential candidate should face no criminal charges for her email practices, clearing a distraction that had dogged the final days of Clinton’s campaign and providing perhaps the last twist of the wild 2016 election year."

SEPTA Strike Could Give Trump PA

Barring a voluntary agreement by Transport Workers Union Local 234 or an unprecedented injunction, its is very possible that a SEPTA strike could put Pa. in the Trump Win column. This will damage and possibly sink the Clinton campaign. In June, the Transportation Workers Union endorsed Clinton.

"Trump Free Zone" Signs Taking Root in Easton's West Ward

This morning, long before I made it to the courthouse, I received a text containing a picture of a "Trump-Free Zone" sign. It was located smack dab outside the courthouse, right below a "No Parking" sign, and was emblazoned with the words "No Hate! No Bigotry!"

"Did you do this?" I was asked.

I lack the energy.

As the day went on, I learned that similar signs are all over the West Ward. A friend I work with, a Trump supporter whose office is right across the street from the courthouse, was fuming over a "Trump-Free Zone" sign taped onto a telephone pole taped onto a telephone pole. He was particularly pissed that the sign was too high for him to rip it down. He was told I put it there.

I called him and admitted it. I laughed as he exploded. "Be very careful when you start your car," he joked. ... I think.

Because there are no secrets at the Northampton County Courthouse, I was able to discover the real culprit behind the "Trump-Free Zone" signs by the end of the day.

It's Easton civil rights attorney Joe Welsh, the very bastard who represents Nazareth's infamous Sticker Gang. They were chained, shackled and perp-walked for exercising their First Amendment rights.

I called Joe, and he not only admitted it, but directed my attention to a video of him in action at 10th and Spruce.

"This guy is a local hero," said someone in West Ward filming him as a lady approached him to ask for a sign.

Joe told me his signs all have a union bug and a disclaimer indicating he paid for them.

"I take full responsibility," he said.

In the meantime, the local tea party is planning another flashmob today for Donald Trump at the intersection of Route 33 and William Penn Highway in Bethlehem Township from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Tea Party chairman Tom Campione has emailed the tea party faithful to advise that a Morning Call reporter might cover the event. "We know the reporter who will be there and are comfortable with him," he states. "But, I am concerned with the editorial staff as they lean Left, of course." He issues very specific instructions and talking points.
"Please avoid any negative conversation about Mr. Trump if leading questions should be asked. We encourage you to express dissatisfaction with the establishment GOP, but please keep the tone pleasant. You might suggest that people like Dent and Toomey need to support our nominee or tell us why we should support them when they don't."

Updated 10:26 am: Unfortunately, my Trump-supporting buddy could no longer take the "Trump Free" Zone outside his window. He shimmied up the pole and cut it down. I hope he doesn't mind the "Vote Hillary" bumper sticker on the back of his gas guzzling SUV.

Second Debate Does Little to Inspire Undecided Voters

On Friday, a 2005 videotape was released in which Donald Trump actually brags, in the most vulgar terms, of forcing himself on women just four months after his marriage to wife number three. While it seems highly unlikely that he can recover, his debate performance tonight appears to be strong enough to keep his base from jumping ship.

While Clinton gave very unsatisfactory answers about 33,000 deleted emails, and seems clueless how much this has damaged her in the eyes of the public, Trump reinforced the perception of him as a bully. He interrupted Clinton repeatedly and complained to moderators throughout the debate. But the strangest thing about his behavior was how he prowled and stalked while Clinton was speaking, sometimes interjecting himself into the camera shot. Pretty strange behavior from someone who is trying to dispel a negative image of him.

Trump said Clinton belongs in jail, and as President, he would see that Clinton is prosecuted. He even referred to her as the "devil" who has "hate in her heart." As much as I am sure Trumpions will love this, it will really hurt him among moderates.

When it comes to foreign policy, I am beginning to see the outlines of a new and much tougher Clinton than is commonly thought. She would arm the Kurds, something that should have been done when George H.W. Bush was President. Trump, for all his bluster, is weaker, and would let Russia and Syria wipe out moderate rebels while turning a blind eye to the war crimes.

It does appear to me that Clinton did a much more effective job of connecting with people in the town hall. But in the end, it was an ugly night giving one little reason to be optimistic. I am so disappointed that in a nation over 300 people strong, these are our two top choices.

Trump Flash Mob at 248/33 Rush Hour Tomight

If you live in the Nazareth area, you should exercise a little extra caution driving home tonight. That's because the Lehigh Valley Tea Party and NorCo GOP will be hosting another flash mob, or honk-and-drive. This one is along Route 248 at Northampton Crossings. They will be near the Route 33 exit, starting at 4:30 pm, surrounded by a WalMart, Wegmans and Target.

This group was last at this location on Sunday. Wegmans called police several times because Trump supporters were using their parking lot on that store's busiest day. "Since the assistant manager at that Wegman's kept calling the police on us and threatened to have our cars towed ...we're going to be there again on Wednesday!" declares The Republican Action Team.

This time Trumpions are being instructed to park across the street at WalMart, PNC Bank or anywhere but Wegmans.

When Northampton Crossings was laid out, it was in a fashion that is very unfriendly to pedestrians. There are few sidewalks, and the crossing at lights can be very treacherous. These Trump supporters will be there at the busiest time of day, when people in hurry to get home can be very foolish.

I understand the desire to stick it to Wegmans. But pedestrian safety should Trump other concerns. Though I detest the Trump campaign, I know several of the people who participate in those flash mobs. I'd hate to see them get hurt by a careless driver or because they themselves are negligent.

I doubt police will interfere because this is core speech and is protected.

I have seen no movements like this for Hillary. Trump energizes people, but it's a strange demographic that usually is more cynical about politics. Presidential elections usually galvanize younger voters. Trump's campaign resonates strongly with an older and whiter crowd.

Post-Debate Polls Give Clinton the Lead

Following last week's debate, local blogger Michael Molovinsky published a story entitled, "Trump Wins Debate" despite all evidence to the contrary. He went on to declare that "[w]ho won is who moves up and down in the polls. I believe that the upward move will be by Trump."

I agree that the debate win goes to the person who went up in the polls, but that person is Clinton.

According to Nate Silver's 538,
Hillary Clinton is leading in the race for president, and she’s made meaningful gains since last week’s presidential debate. Clinton is currently a 72 percent favorite in our polls-only forecast, up from 55 percent just before the debate. That corresponds to a roughly 4-percentage-point national lead for Clinton, about where the race was as of Labor Day — before a series of mishaps for her in mid-September. Our polls-plus model, which blends polls with an economic index and generally produces a more conservative forecast, has Clinton with a 69 percent chance instead.
To be clear, Silver states she has a 72% chance of winning, not that 72% of voters support her. He adjusts those numbers daily as more polls come in. Trump's numbers will continue to slide as news of his tax returns became more widely known and he himself spirals out of control, as he has done several times.

Silver waited for polls that were conducted after the debate, even though it was frustrating to wait six days.

Team Trump will continue to savage Clinton. Today, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is scheduled to release the mother of all October surprises, enough to get her indicted.

Funny how Assange never criticizes Russia ... or Putin.

I suspect that whatever Assange has will just be more bullshit, but the Trumpions will seize on it, and Hillary's numbers will go down.

In the final analysis, the only poll that matters is the one on election day.

Who Won the Clinton-Trump Debate?

I suspect that most of you watched last night's spirited debate between presidential contenders Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump at Hofstra. Moderator Lester Holt was the clear loser, completely losing control of  Trump several times throughout the night. Nevertheless, for the first third of the debate, when the conversation was focused on jobs, Trump was the winner. But that changed.

I think Clinton baited him, and it worked. As the night wore on, and as he continued to interrupt and make childish faces, he looked pretty bad.

I'd say Clinton did quite well, and Trump did not.

Does it matter? Beats me.

Interesting facts:

1) Trump interrupted Clinton 51 times. She interrupted him 17 times.

2) Trump told ten whoppers.

3) Voters say Clinton won, 51-40.

The Trump Train Rolling Along

I've seen no Clinton signs and only a few Trump signs, but that should change soon. NorCo Republicans put together about 700 of them over the weekend, so his signs should start appearing soon.

Trumpions have been conducting what they call flashmobs near major roads. A bunch get together with Trump shirts and hats and wave signs at oncoming traffic. This weekend, a woman I know was stopped at traffic on Easton Avenue during one of these flashmobs, with her kids in the car, returning from soccer practice. The driver of the car in front of her gave the flashmob a thumbs down, and a Trumpion ran up to the guy, screaming at him. At the other end of the Lehigh Valley, in Allentown, another Trumpion attempted to run down someone at an immigration rally. The driver's license plate was photographed.

Democrats are silly, too. A township supervisor who has a Trump sign in his yard has been accused of being a KKK supporter.

So things are getting ugly, as they always do in Presidential races.

The candidates in the meantime vilify each other, setting a good example.

Authoritarians will love to hear that Donald Trump now advocates profiling for suspects, claiming that we are just too damn politically correct. Last time I checked, the prohibition on profiling has nothing to do with being politically correct. It has everything to do with equal protection and unreasonable searches and seizures. But aside from the Second Amendment, a President Trump will trash pretty much the rest of the Bill of Rights.

A friend of mine who did polling during the primary in a totally unrelated race received the call you hear above from a Donald Trump supporter. It's a fascinating look into the mind of a Trumpion.

Clinton's Dishonesty Bothers Me, Not her Pneumonia

Over the past few months, I've been disgusted by Trumpions who have tried their level best to portray Hillary Clinton as someone at death's door. But yesterday, when she swooned after getting "overheated" during a 9/11 ceremony at Ground Zero, it was very evident that something is wrong. After stonewalling reporters throughout the day, her campaign finally admitted late in the day that she is suffering from pneumonia.

Although pneumonia is nothing to take lightly, it's completely understandable that either she or Trump could come down with that illness. I've gone through it twice myself. What I find completely unfathomable is that a presidential candidate whose honesty is very much an issue, would keep the public in the dark, even though she was first diagnosed on Friday.

It's not her pneumonia, but her complete lack of transparency that makes it impossible for me to vote for her.

And Trump is just as nontransparent. He refuses to release his tax returns. He's also two years older than Clinton and has failed to provide the medical records that a much younger Obama did when he ran.

Trump Really Doesn't Want 2A People to Shoot Hillary

The Donald made some cavalier remarks about Hillary yesterday. He warned that is she gets elected, she will pick Supreme Court Justices. "[N]othing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.”

That has ignited another firestorm in his sagging campaign, and he's now blaming the media for his own remarks. "Media desperate to distract from Clinton's anti-2A stance," he tweets. "I said pro-2A citizens must organize and get out vote to save our Constitution!"

Where's your sense of humor? Trumpkins will tell you that people threaten to kill presidential candidates all the time.

In other Trump tidbits, he claims he wants to debate Clinton "very badly."

I'm sure he will.

But if you think Hillary is our Savior, think again.

Judicial Watch yesterday released another 296 pages of State Department records and 44 Clinton emails that she failed to disclose. Among them is an email from a Clinton Foundation official, seeking a job for an associate. The records also reveal that Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin left Clinton's daily schedule on her bed, in an unlocked hotel room, for another aide. And a third aide gets mad when the schedule is emailed to an official State Department address instead of using a completely unsecure private account.

They are both a disgrace.

Et Tu, Christie?

Team Trump continues to double and triple down on The Donald's treatment of Gold Star parents who dared criticize him at a DNC rally last week. His campaign manager is now suggesting that Clinton and Obama are responsible for their son's death. In the meantime, the Donald has amazingly booted a crying baby from a campaign rally. He's had his McCarthy moment, and his campaign is beginning to crash and burn.

The list of those criticizing his behavior is getting longer.

Chris Christie (Trump's future AG): “We need to honor their sacrifice for our country and we need to honor their son’s sacrifice for our country. ... And to focus on anything other than that, to me, is missing the point. That’s what we should be doing, and any comments that we’re making publicly or privately should be with that in mind. My view on this is that the Khans have a right to say whatever it is they want regarding the loss of their son and that for all the Gold Star families out there, they have put forward a sacrifice that I cannot fathom as a parent.”

Meg Whitman (GOP fundraiser): "“I will vote for Hillary, I will talk to my Republican friends about helping her, and I will donate to her campaign and try to raise money for her. ... Time and again history has shown that when demagogues have gotten power or come close to getting power, it usually does not end well."

GOP Congressman Richard Hanna: "While I disagree with her on many issues, I will vote for Mrs. Clinton. I will be hopeful and resolute in my belief that being a good American who loves his country is far more important than parties or winning and losing. I trust she can lead. All Republicans may not like the direction, but they can live to win or lose another day with a real candidate. Our response to the public's anger and the need to rebuild requires complex solutions, experience, knowledge and balance. Not bumper sticker slogans that pander to our disappointment, fear and hate."

GOP Congressman Charlie Dent: "I have not endorsed Donald Trump. I am not for Hillary Clinton under any circumstances." Hequestions the "purity police who have imposed "litmus tests" on centrists like him but are all in for a candidate who just a few years ago was contributing to Hillary Clinton and calling her a "great negotiator."

Hey Donald, This is How a Grown-Up Talks

While The Donald is busily claiming that Hillary Clinton is "the devil," Congressman Charlie Dent released a statement on Facebook yesterday concerning U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan.
U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan is a hero by every possible definition – a soldier who put his troops first and who died while trying to protect them. His courage, bravery and willingness to sacrifice his life to protect not just his fellow soldiers but to defend the freedoms we all enjoy here at home is the very definition of what it means to be American.

Any attempt to diminish or minimize the sacrifice that Captain Khan, or his family, have made for our Nation should be strongly condemned. We can never repay Captain Khan’s family for their loss or thank Captain Khan enough for his valor.
Dent's detractors want him to slam Trump while he's at it, but Dent chose to handle the matter like an adult.

I had to laugh when reading Jeff Cooper claim, "I guaranty you, Trump is only a day or two from declaring that Captain Khan died on purpose to hide the fact that his father started ISIS."

Incidentally, I always thought I was the devil.

Trump's McCarthy Moment

Donald Trump's campaign of fear and hate has finally. The public is finally wising up to the incessant Trump tweets. The person who has brought down The Donald seeks no public office. He's no journalist. In fact, he's one of those immigrants blamed by Trump and his minions for everything. Even worse, he's a Muslim.

I am referring, of course, to Khizr Khan, whose son was killed in action while serving as a US Army captain in Iraq in 2004. He spoke at last week's Democratic convention, and I thought he surpassed everyone, Democrat or Republican. The quiet passion in his brief remarks, with his wife standing next to him, is undeniable.

As a grieving father, he deserves a great deal of latitude. But Trump, who is both thin-skinned and petty, detests criticism, and began lashing out on Twitter. He claimed Khan had "no right" to criticism him. After all, he's The Donald. He suggested that Khan's wife had been forbidden to speak. You know how those Muslims are. Turns out she was too upset to speak. Then a man who never spent a second in the military claimed that he's made sacrifices, too, because he builds things from which he profits. Most recently, he is claiming he was "viciously attacked." He's also tried to change the subject a few times.

Trumpites on this blog spent the weekend doing pretty much the same thing.

All this reminds me of America's last great demagogue and fearmonger, Senator Joseph McCarthy. Some say this witch hunter was finally upended by Edward R. Murrow, a fearless journalist. Unlike many others, he refused to "be driven by fear into an age of unreason. ... We are not descended from fearful men." There are few Edward R.Murrows in today's world, where reality TV starts become major party nominees. Trump has taken precautions, though, and has revoked press credentials for The Washington Post, BuzzFeed, Politico, The Daily Beast, Vox and The Huffington Post. He denies access, hoping that will silence his critics.

Some also say that the people finally wised up during Senate hearings in 1954, in which McCarthy attempted to crucify an Army lawyer named Fred Welch who belonged to the Lawyers' Guild, a left wing organization, while in law school. McCarthy wanted the lawyer fired, despite having no evidence of anything. That's when Jack Welch, who was also representing the Army, spoke up. "Senator, may we not drop this? We know he belonged to the Lawyers Guild. Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator. You've done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?"

Trump has now had his McCarthy moment. The more he tries to defend himself, and the more his followers attempt to justify his recklessness, the worse he looks. Majority leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan, have condemned Trump's continuing remarks. Meghan McCain, daughter of the Arizona Senator, called him a "barbarian." But the best responses to Trump have come from the Khans.

"Donald Trump has children whom he loves," said Ghazala Khan. "Does he really need to wonder why I did not speak?”

Trump is now admitting that Khan's son is a "hero," but Khizr Khan responds,
"The snake oil he is selling, and my patriotic, decent Americans are falling for that. Republicans are falling for that. And I can only appeal to them. Reconsider. Repudiate. It’s a moral obligation. A person void of empathy for the people he wishes to lead cannot be trusted with that leadership. To vote is a trust. And it cannot be placed in the wrong hands.”
Trump, like McCarthy before him, is playing on people's fear of terrorism. Murrow had something to say about the way we react to these charlatans.  "He did not create this situation of fear, he merely exploited it, and rather successfully. Cassius was right. 'The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.'"

Updated 11:12 am: Real Republicans condemn Trump's bile against the Khans - CNN includes comments from John McCain, Jeb Bush, John Kasich and Lindsey Graham:

McCain - "While our Party has bestowed upon him the nomination, it is not accompanied by unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us."

Nelson - "This is going to a place where we've never gone before, to push back against the families of the fallen."

Jeb Bush - "This is so incredibly disrespectful of a family that endured the ultimate sacrifice for our country."

Kasich - "There's only one way to talk about Gold Star parents: with honor and respect. Capt. Khan is a hero. Together, we should pray for his family."

Update #2, 12:00 pm: Trump and his minions have one supporter - ISIS.

Update #3, 4;45 pm: Politico now has published a story amazingly like mine, which shows that great minds think alike. Meanwhile, CNN reports that the VFW is now condemning Trump. They must be part of the Muslim Brotherhood, too. And the Gold Star Mothers have the audacity to demand an apology from The Donald.

Is Hillary Taking Pa. For Granted? Or Has She Written State Off?

From 538
When she was at Liberty High School a few years ago, running against Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton reminded local Democrats that Lehigh Valley Congressman Paul McHale had voted to impeach her husband. Not very reassuring to anyone hoping that Hillary will have the Lehigh Valley's back. They voted for her anyway, but i would nor be so sure this time

538, a website that focuses on opinion polls, is concerned that Hillary Clinton is just a little too sure of winning Pennsylvania this Fall. She has undeniable lead in the polls and has set aside $137 million for television. But she's reserved no air time in the Keystone State, which is gone from Democrat to "toss up," according to NPR. Given the perception that many Pennsylvania Democrats are corrupt, from Chaka Fattah to Kathleen Kane to Fed Ed, this omission will hurt unless quickly remedied.

From 538:
"Many Democrats take Pennsylvania for granted because it hasn’t voted Republican in a presidential election since 1988. But in 2012, its margin for President Obama was just 5.4 percentage points, equal to his margin in Colorado and less than his margins in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada — all states included in early pro-Clinton ad reservations this year. Moreover, unlike those four states, Pennsylvania has trended toward Republicans over time, thanks to its older, whiter and more working-class electorate."

*          *          *

"So far this year, 73,543 Democratic registrants have switched to the GOP. The switchers mostly live in heavily white, working-class counties, and most did so in advance of the April 26 primary, presumably to vote for Trump. Trump took 57 percent statewide, but he took 70 percent in Fayette County (Uniontown) and 77 percent in Luzerne County (Wilkes-Barre) — locales that recorded two of the highest rates of party switching."
Political corruption among Pa. Democrats should reach a crescendo toward the end of the summer, when Attorney general Kathleen Kane goes to trial. In the meantime, federal investigations and guilty pleas have painted Democratic elected officials in a very poor light. Democrats are certainly going to lose the Attorney general's seat, and could lose every row office, especially with an inept Governor who needlessly dragged out a budget fight that he ultimately lost.

It could be that Hillary is not taking Pa. for granted. Remember, this is the state derided by then candidate Barack Obama for clinging to guns and religion.

She may have written the state off.

Will Kane Ruin Hillary's Prospects in Pa?

The wait is over. Hillary Clinton has finally said Yes. She announced her Presidential bid yesterday. "The deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top," she declared, in an obvious populist appeal. According to one pundit, she's the presumptive favorite. And he has all kinds of pretty graphs to prove his point. I have no graphs, but know that Hillary was the presumptive favorite in 2008, too. She won in Pennsylvania, and I voted for her. But can she win again? Or will her ties to Kathleen Kane doom her bid in the Keystone State.

It's pretty clear that Kane is a disaster. In addition to the Friday afternoon search warrants served on her office, a Montgomery County judge is convening a three-judge panel to determine whether her firing of a top prosecutor last week was in contempt of a court order. It's increasingly likely that she is going to face criminal prosecution. Public confidence in her office is already in shambles. She's been in denial and is being enabled by top Democrats like Governor Tom Wolf and Ed Rendell.

Charges, if filed, will no doubt drag out until some time next year, and during that time, it's anybody's guess how many more shoes will drop.

In the meantime, she just happens to be using Lanny Davis as her spin meister, which is exactly the role he once performed for the Clintons.

If the Clintons have proved anything during their decades in the public eye, it's that they are perfectly capable of creating scandals on their own. They need no help from Kane.

At the current pace, Kane has all but assured that the next Attorney General will be a Republican. She can't win, and unless she resigns and lets someone like John Morganelli take control, a Republican will be elected.

Even worse, Kane's scandal is going to send shockwaves, not ripples, into Hillary's Presidential bid. On the comment boards, I have already seen numerous Hillary-Kane comparisons. Though they have little in common other than the fact that both are women, that will be enough for many in a state that is still incredibly sexist.

Kane needs to resign now.

Dent To Question Hillary!

LV Congressman Charlie Dent will today question Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of The Department of State, during a Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations hearing, around 10 AM.

You can access audio and video for this hearing here. For audio only, click here.
