Well, that's two hours wasted. I made the mistake last night of watching seven GOP Presidential hopefuls interrupt and talk over each other instead of providing specific answers to the questions. The FOX moderators refused to blow the whistle as this free-for-all went on for two hours, even though they had the power to cut the mikes of candidates who incessantly operated and insisted on going beyond their time limits. All they managed to do was make themselves look as childish as frontrunner Donald Trump.
Though there are serious issues facing this nation, one moderator diminished the forum when she asked candidates who they would vote "off the island," as though this was some reality TV show. I'll credit Ron DeSantis for recognizing the stupidity of that question.
Who looked best? In my view, they all looked pretty bad out there.
For the second time, Donald Trump has won a debate despite skipping it.

What a waste of time. I too watched the debate along with my wife. What a disgusting display of wacko's seeking the highest office in America. The greatest comment made was when Christie referred to Trump as DONALD DUCK. Fox news ought to be ashamed of that two hours.

Thought Haley came off strong and informed. DeSantis was a lot like your boy McClure, trying to project a real personality but coming across as a real emotionless stiff. The more he tried to not be mechanically monotone the worse he was. There was no real personal connection with people. His forced semi-smiles were cringe worthy.
The rest are not even close to the nomination. However, Christie is entertaining, so I hope he hangs around.
Trump has again stymied the rest, even when absent, lets face it, the republican grass roots do not trust any of these people. Haley is for sure a perpetual war candidate, Desantis should serve his term as a just reelected governor, He is doing a good job.
The fact is most republicans do not want to allow the media and the corrupt justice system to be a winner and the ones picking candidates.
Trump has been tested in the fire, and myself, I want Americans to make the choice between old Joe, or his stand in, and Trump.
As for the country, it is already sideways at 100 miles an hour, when it hits something it will be just a lot of debris.
If the voters or the manipulators think old Joe is better, go for it. Either way we will all be witnesses to the inevitable impact.
Pense came off good as did Scott until he got into the screaming match with Haley who did herself no good. VR - comments too slick, too canned, no real experience. My gut says don't trust him. Christie the pettiest of the petty. DeSantis was good, but.................... The guy from ND actually made some sense.
Trump, like most childish bullies is really a coward. He is running away scared of his betters on the stage.

Because to them, it’s not about policy making, it’s about white supremacy and assuring that a black president never gets elected again. Their behavior is pushback for the audacity that a member of a marginalized community aspires to make a difference to working folk.
They’ll ignore any politician actually wanting to improve the conditions of the working class over their WHITENESS.

No one on that stage is as competent and capable of rebuilding America as is Donald Trump. Politics is dead, and these debates are useless. The right has been contaminated by Trumpism and there should be no more future presidential elections because of the threat of insurrection. The best the democrats can do is keep control of the federal government and the military because if they lose that, you can guarantee that this country will become an authoritarian regime.

He won't win Pennsylvania, Michigan or Wisconsin and without them, he has no chance at winning the Electoral College vote.

It's unfortunate as Pence is best qualified but unfortunately Republicans won't give him a chance due to Trump.
