Merchants at Palmer Park Mall might see a bleaker Christmas than expected. On the busiest shopping day of the year, the Mall has been forced to close as a result of a power outage. Shoppers and merchants have both been evacuated. No word on when it reopens. The Mall's Facebook page has not been updated since December 18. Call before you go.

We were in Weis on Schoenersville Road about 1pm and their credit card system went down. Cash purchases only. Forgot my checkbook so elbowed some folks out of the way to use a self check that took cash and slipped in a $20. Made the guy ahead of us into an honest man by buying the taco seasoning package he had forgotten to swipe (over the scanner) and giving it to him.
Merry Christmas to all.
There is an electrical problem in Lower Nazareth Twsp (Hecktown) and it's been acting crazy all day long. It is affecting the flow of electric into the house for some reason. I called PPL and they said not to worry it will go away. They claim it's just a queer little electric charge that is going round the circuit blowing fuses. Hmmm?
All stores. Closed with the exception of boscovs they have their own generators. Signed the management
I forgot. Merry Christmas Bernie
Is December 23rd really the busiest shopping day of the year? But yes, I feel sorry for the merchants that lost business and the shoppers who were inconvenienced. I guess it’s their own fault for waiting to the last minute to do Christmas shopping.
Power where I live in Nazareth flickered on and off last night just once. Considering the wind, I think we are lucky.
Anon 12:06 AM, "A queer little electrical charge that is going around the circuit blowing fuses. Hmmm?" Sounds like Steve Lynch, Kari Lake, Mike Lindel and the Ultra MAGA crowd! Lol!
