GOP Party Boss Lee Snover Endorsing XL Voting Machine
Northampton County's GOP Party Boss, Lee Snover, is openly critical of the ExpressVote XL voting machine used in November's election. She now wants paper ballots. Yet as the video above makes clear, Snover endorsed the XL when it was considered by the Elections Commission in March 2019.

Lee is looking out for the people. We don't need any more Lamont Lines but we will get them. He strong-armed the election people and the council.
Is she the County Executive now? Did she control the information and choices that McClure put out there on these voting machines? Did she fail to test the machines in violation of the County’s duty to its citizens? The answer is no to all of these. Lamont McClure owns this disaster 100%. Nice try to shift the blame from where it belongs. Sad actually.
She is a troll. Time to fix the party System and get rid of her and Matt munchie they both need to go
Everybody liked the machines. at first. Few will now admit they were a tragic mistake, very poorly introduced by a clown car of incompetents who did substantial harm in a single primary to the 267-year integrity of county elections. Last time I checked, Snover held no office. But you refuse to blame your in-kind employer and have to point your finger somewhere. Pathetic. Remember, Lamont's best advice to make the shitty machines work, is to vote absentee and not use them. The decline is easy. Bern-splaining it gets trickier and trickier by the day. We knew who we were electing and we deserve the misery.
Since reading the approval of the epoll books, I have come across various accounts from around the nation those have also received rocky introductions. Various municipalities in Texas, Ohio, Washington, Florida, New York, and even Pennsylvania have either scrapped the Tenex units or were unable to put them into service at the time scheduled do to a variety of failures. Some poll workers had difficulty operating them even after training. Many times, voters were just handed provisional ballots with the promise to figure it all out later. Doesn’t mean we’ll have any issues here, but, the training/testing needs to start immediately.
8:03, Untrue. Only Dallas had issues and only bc they wanted to use wifi. I posted a link to Dallas' problems. You are spreading disinformation.
I did find one example from Ohio in 2015, in which the company used the wrong cut-off date for voter registration. The other major problem was the result of wifi. We will not have that issue. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2015/11/10/election-board-examines-vote-snafus/75506604/
Just last week, the Idaho State Journal reports concerns over their new Tenex epoll books being ready after beta tests reveal significant problems yet to be solved.
She lives in the same alternative reality world as the cast and crew in Washington DC, two-faced liars!
Wow, it's almost like she changed her position after new evidence came out. What a liar and cheater! Once you say something it should stick with you, unchanging, for the rest of your life! I am outraged and think we must purge this hearsay!

I have read this story, and it seems to me that elections officials in Idaho are afraid of trying something new and do not trust technology. According to the state, they just need a little more time to get familiar. You should provide links to stories you wish to discuss.
I'd love to gradually roll out epollbooks, but we have no choice. Paper pollbooks are no longer an option.
Bernie would consider her more honorable if she kept defending the machines while advising people to vote absentee.
This is not about honor, but politics. She wants to ensure McClure is a one-termer.
What part of the roll-out an implementation was Snover responsible for? Heads should roll. But I don't think she was part of the circus act that spit the bit here. on the bright side, NorCo's clowning made national news! Je suis Iowa.
Looks like a swing and a miss on the story Bernie. But hey on the upside, if we open an Al Qaida detention center, we could have Lee tell the detainees how worthless they are in that whiny condescending voice. Playing Nickleback on a loop would be paradise compared to this. I feel bad about myself just listening to her!
Bernie is Russia now smuggling Chinese coronavirus carriers in these machines to rig the 2020 election. Like they put the Russian bots at the voting polls in 2016?
Maybe Lee was extending the olive branch in the public interest, ever think of that? .Political name callling stuff aside ,anytime you mix E-stuff with blue hair and cataracts at polls ,expect problems.
4:37 - exactly right!
IPads are TOUCH SCREEN devices. Often, that’s a difficult adjustment to for older volunteers who might have used computers with a mouse. They are also an operating system different from the more common PC.
Proper training and beta testing is very critical. I expect problems, for sure, but that will need to happen no matter what new system is introduced. Better get all the “kinks” out in the Primary, not the General Election.
We have been given verbal assurances from Bern,Mcclure, the Executive, and machine mfrs..and only them, that all the electronic things have been configured..
so, there it is people
Might have been configured, but all the data hasn’t been inputted yet. Too soon for that.
Well ,as see it ,Blue haired and I- pads and touch screens don’t mix to well . Any interface will be Dems at a disadvantage in supervoter categories. They can’t just pull a party vote .
Check the latest Associated Press article found on WFMZ’s website. It previews the upcoming Primary Election in Nevada. That state just switched over to a new system that uses iPads at each polling location. They won’t name the vendor, but the concerns expressed there are very similar to what is being raised here.
There is a fear poll workers will not be ready to deal with this change due to a lack of adequate training. So, Northampton County, start training NOW, run a mock election, then train some more if needed.
