I'm voting via mail ballot as I can see the lines already and tempers will be flaring without a doubt...

Hope they also have an epollbook there and in use. Might help eliminate some of the fears.

There are no "fears." The persons who need to familiarize themselves with epollbooks are the elections workers, not voters. But thanks to an obstreporous Elections Comm'n, that training has been delayed.

Wouldn't training on completing absentee votes be better planning at this point?

The McClure voting operation AKA Amy Cozze will ensure that everting is just great, like they did in November. Competence is not our job!

"Wouldn't training on completing absentee votes be better planning at this point?"

That's not training but voter outreach, and that is being done.

Bigger counties than this one have solved these challenges with no problems. Swallow your pride and see how they get it right.

Now Iowa is a hot mess.
The entire system is a transparent farce.

Love the word obstreperous LOL

Is this the same outreach they were doing last summer at the various fairs and senior centers?

Whatever is being done is in fulfillment of a plot by Democrats to steal the 2020 election.

Tonight’s Iowa Caucus is total confusion. People are blaming everything forward as untrustworthy. Seems there was a lack of preparation in planning their already weird election process. I’m telling you, coming state elections will be messed-up like never before. Possibly, on purpose.

I am surprised there was no post about McClure's hissy fit op-ed piece today. He blamed the bad, bad Election Commission for not doing what he wanted them to do. I guess he can decide who the Registrar of Elections is but can't boss everybody around.

Word is Amy Cozze and Dertinger were in Iowa managing thecaucus.

Dems screw up Iowa--you want them running the country--maybe like your cities???

Evidence shows the Iowa Caucus was handled by a company named Shadow, Inc. Shadow has some curious connections to others. This could well prove to have been election interference. Stay tuned, even though this could never happen here, right?

NorCo: Je Suis Iowa.

Give Lamont credit. He telegraphed his coming election incompetence and told everyone to shove it - they should have chosen their executive more wisely. That took some guts. Although, thwe part where he blames everybody but number one was very lawyerly. Very sleazy, slitheringly lawyerly. What a disgusting mistake we made.

Because Northampton County is a "Home Rule Municipality", we get to choose our form of Government. There are still "State Mandates" but this mess we have here can only be straightened out by addressing the shortcomings in our own Home Rule Charter. The State Mandates are very clear in its addressing "who really is responsible for conducting the business of Elections" but the County run operation has too many Gray areas. In-action of the Election Commission must be addressed by the Administration. Make a decision to move ahead and be ready to back up that decision in the Courts, otherwise there will be no election. IT MUST BE DONE NOW.

Not to worry...a quote from the exec....” let me assure you the machines are fixed”. So sleep tight tonite.

Your comment is designed to undermine public confidence and suppress voter turnout.

Any ‘bashing’ of the flawed Iowa Caucus SHOULD be an INCENTIVE for voters to turn out in higher numbers!

The suggested blame being placed in Iowa is for some form of CHEATING. The way to better protect against cheating and vote totals manipulation is to vote in GREATER NUMBER for your desired candidate. That way, fake votes for your opponent will have less effect.

How can we run a national health system when we can't make simple elections work properly? Legal weed is being recalled for being stale and/or moldy. The black market has had outstanding quality control for years. How can you screw up selling weed? The same way you screw up elections. This entire episode is a cautionary tale about the limitations of of betters in government.

As I said, many of these Comments are designed to discourage voting. With a trump supporter bashing our electoral process, who needs the Russians?

I think President Trump needs to ask Putin to investigate the Democrats' fiasco in Iowa. Haha

How can anybody vote for a democrat--they accuse TRUMP OF FIXING AN ELECTION--yet they fix the process in Iowa --second time they did in berrnie..
