Brown and his Buds

When he was running for state auditor general last year, NorCo Exec John Brown got to know Trump spin Jedi Kellyane Conway.

He also shared a tender moment with Chris Christie, who could share advice about staying on beaches on the public dime while excluding everyone else.

These are things you should know when you vote for Executive in November.

The Ridge St Stunner looks fantastic, whats her secret?

Bernie, you make a valid point. Brown is hanging out with disgusting people. He is a big time politician wannabe and could care less about Northampton County. His Admisntration lacks transparency and is a crony filled disaster. Not to forget the county council is filled with republican tax raisers and hidden fee pushers.

There is one problem, they are republicans. You know full well that republicans only vote for republicans. Especially in the burbs, these folks do as they are told by right wing media and websites. They have been made to be terrified of thinking for themselves. They still think Trump is the second coming of George Washington, since Alex Jones said so, and they refuse to even consider any of these county clowns as being not worthy of reelection. I wish you luck, these county officials are terrible but sadly their base can only vote one way.

Oh, and county Democrats are not as partisan? Give me a break! They all think Trump is the second coming of Hitler because of left wing media, and are terrified of thinking for themselves. The difference is that Democrats would rather demonstrate like anarchists rather than get the vote out on election day.

I can't wait to vote for Brown. He's far from perfect. But, he has all the right political enemies. I prefer these hit pieces vs. the Callahan fluff pieces we'd be getting had Brown not crushed him four years ago. Your check is in the mail, Bernie!

1:29: Amen!!!

3:15: One break coming up. I was born and raised in a Catholic, Republican family. However, after college (another Catholic institution added to my schooling; DeSales University), I entered a career in Social Work and found myself becoming more free-thinking, more accepting, more liberal and more Democratic.

Fast forward, 30+ years later, I now, post-Trump, consider myself an independent. Most of my friends and co-workers are Democrats. Most of my family (on both sides- l also married a Catholic) are Republican. The Republicans I know will ONLY vote Republican, meanwhile the Democrats will often vote for the person, not the party and often split their ticket.

I have lost so much respect for so many family members in last year's Presidential election- for they have long regarded themselves as good, upstanding moral people, yet "held their noses" and still voted the Republican ticket; one chock full of racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic Neanderthals.

After the Presidential election, I promised myself that I would never vote for a Republican again, yet in the May 2017 primary, I again did my due diligence and voted mostly for the Republican candidate in their respective positions, simply because they were the better candidate in their particular race.

I don't "hold my nose and vote". I am not partisan. I vote for the better Candidate and so do my Democratic friends.

If John Brown hung out with Bill Clinton would you get the warm and fuzzies Bernie ?

- Both political parties are partisan, blame goes equally to both sides.
"They all think Trump is the second coming of Hitler because of left wing media, and are terrified of thinking for themselves".
Now there's an over exaggeration filled by right wing media drama filled rhetoric.
Please get your news/facts from some other place than just Fox News and/or Rush L.

Are you defending your political beliefs and party by ignoring facts? Facts that this current president of the US has been a business-con-man; stiffs smaller businesses from paying on a mutually agreed upon contracts? Started a fraudulent university, by lying to the general public by promising them something, then taking their money, and not delivering (you know, like many of his campaign promises) which will turn out to be right up his con-man agenda. He'll end up doing whatever he can to ensure his family's fortunes get bigger, at any cost, and will sell out the country if the ends meet his needs. (Give it time, this is my opinion based upon his long history as a business-con-man).

You do remember that more people voted for the Democrat than for the Republican (Fact). It's just that our election laws made it that the Republican candidate won. OR does that not play well with your party and/or beliefs and therefore it must be fake news?

Please wait while I go make my popcorn.....

People - Democrats, Independents and even some Rs - should know this ehen they decide how they are voting in November. If you think his association with a professional spinmeister is good, vote for Brown. If you think that hanging with the most unpopular Governor in the country is helpful, onewho was caught on the beach after closing them down, please by all means vote for Brown.

9:04 oh boo hoo that the electoral college screwed your goddess Hillary. Fact is that 85% of media coverage of Trump is negative. Fact is that Trump has been compared to Hitler by many left wing celebrities and snowflakes. Get your head out of your butt. Trump has done far more good than your suckup liberal press has given him credit for. You live in the past like your idol career politician Hillary.

Let me guess, you're also going to claim to be one of those that "votes for the person, and not the party", and is in favor of "bipartisanship".

Attacking me....geez...how innovative and intelligent.
I stated a fact about the election results, in retort to the original post about dems not getting out to vote. I am not "crying" about it....
Seems like you fall in line with calling dems crybabies....when you are the one flaming the hate and crying about "dems crying".
I never claimed she was my goddess. Stop assuming my beliefs. I stated a fact about the election results.
Where are you getting that: "Fact is that 85% of media coverage of Trump is negative."
How did you come up with that statistic?

"Get [my] head out of [my] butt"....lol....big words which I suspect is trying to deflect. Just b/c the news coverage is not kissing butt to the President does not mean it is negative. Opinions stated by pundits are not those of the media.
Look at Conwway, she lies, spins the story, then lies to try to get out of something she lied about previously. If you can't see that, maybe you should examine where your head is.

Please provide a list of what good Trump has done. I'm curious to see.
What are you talking about suckup liberal press? Who are "they" sucking up to?
Did you not see the fairly recent WH meeting where nearly every Department head literally sucked up to the President? No spin on that, that was straight up sucking up to him. No presidential cabinet has EVER had something like that. Ever.

I do not live in the past....actually "MAGA" is specifically living in the past, to bring back "those" times. Whichever "those" times refer to. Coal jobs, un-equality (as long as it's beneficial for "you").
Economics and industries go through cycles, job sectors become outdated/obsolete for a reason. Future job sectors emerge when newer technologies are developed and workers are re-trained for those new job skills. But the president wants to bring back a sector which has been obsolete for decades, but people living in the past want that back.

For the record, Hillary is not my idol career politician. Never was, never will.

@ 10:49:

From the first article:
" It’s not a direct quote from Hitler, but it’s perilously close. Throughout Trump’s presidential campaign last year, he was dogged by rumors that he kept a book of Hitler’s speeches on his bedside table. Several of his appointees have links to far-right, neo-Nazi organizations. He has, time and again, retweeted white-nationalist and fascist tweets. He struggled to disavow support from arch-racist and former KKK leader David Duke. And his Svengali, Steve Bannon, is obsessed by nationalism and seems nostalgic for a sort of Third Reich world, in which powerful nations and races impose their might on helpless, and thus rights-less, nations and races. "

So, this writer compares/contrasts Hitler's speech(es) and Trump's.
Why can they not compare? The personalities may be similar.....obviously Trump is not as bad as Hitler (or what Hitler had done). But the personalities and rise to power are very similar. It may hurt to be compared to Hitler, b/c we all know that history. But Trump supporters flame the left for being cry-babies.
To use a phrase which has been used by the right: Suck it up buttercup.

"Let me guess, you're also going to claim to be one of those that "votes for the person, and not the party", and is in favor of "bipartisanship". "
- Country before party is my motto. If I believe the country would be better off with a candidate, I'd vote for that candidate.
The bipartisanship....what's wrong with that? It seems that you think it "bad" or negative to come to an agreement with the "other side"....so therefore, you'd prefer to shove stuff down the citizen's throats because your way is the best way??
Negotiating is an everyday occurrence. Obviously not everything gets done through bipartisanship agreement.
It's not an all or nothing.

So basically a lot of words to admit that liberals love to compare (er...cough cough "comapare and contrast") Trump to Hitler.

I suppose you consider Obamacare to be an example of bipartisanship. Well, of course, it was obviously "best for the country". We have to say so, because all correct-thinking folks believe that. It's only those nasty partisan folks that don't.

Brown has my vote. I think he really changed the way the county is run. Contrary to all your hateful posts about him, I believe he has done a great job.

There is something happening in this country now that is indescribable. There is change that is coming and most of you can't see it nor can you see where it is coming from. For that I am sorry. You can cry all you want, you can hate till the cows come home, you can ridicule me all you want. Trump is this trump is that - he is Hitler, he is buds with Putin, he is the devil. You never thought he would be president but guess what, he will be for the next 7 1/2 years. But there is not much you can really do about it just because. And I am enjoying the view from here just watching life unfold.

I agree that anyone associated with Christie should pay a steep price. I wish Obama had paid a price in 2012, but that's water under the bridge(gate) now.

However, I'm not sure if photograph alone implies any sort of endorsement by either person. Much more emphasis and attention should be put on people's words, especially when they're in writing.

Remember the guy who wrote this:

"Christie Dent 2016?

Hey, it could happen. It might even be Dent Christie.

When I saw the two of them together, and the obvious regard they have for each other, I started thinking these two would make a great Presidential ticket. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, whose tough stance on government spending is sending shockwaves through the nation, insisted about a gazillion times that he has no interest in running for the Presidency in 2012. OK, what about 2016?..."

The guy who wrote that should certainly be publicly blasted for his written words endorsing Christie for the highest office in the land.

Trump has done absolutely nothing and it already the worst President in American history. He has total control of both houses and still cannot pass a damn thing except executive orders helping only corporate overlords and their mostly carbon belching industries. Oh yeah, he stripped regulations on Wall St too so we can have 2009 all over agin. He's a disaster and its putzes like you who put this wholly incompetent, over challenged, moron into the oval office. Through all your hatred of Hillary Clinton (I know, she has a vagina), even dimwits like you can admit she was way more prepared and capable to be President than the international embarrassment (and likely Russian compatriot) Donald Trump. Ваше здоровье, comrade!

So you are a fan of inexperience that has translated into needless waste of taxpayer money due to his sheer and utter incompetence.

Anonymous said...

No. The more apt comparison is between Trump & Mussolini, an incompetent, authoritarian who surrounded himself with sycophants and propagandists and professed to represent the paesans while advancing his own personal agenda.

He has done a great job losing court cases costing taxpayers 100s of thousands of dollars due to his incompetence. Corporate efficiency at its finest.
