So far, I've received four mailers from Tara Zrinski's campaign for county executive. Two appear to be directly from her campaign. Another two, which also ask you to support County Council candidates Jason Boulette and David Holland, come from the DemocracyFIRST PAC. But I've received nothing from Tom Giovanni, Zrinski's opponent.
If Tom wants to be elected, I'd think he'd have reached out to Democrats and independents by now. This is because mail-in ballots have already been sent out, so it's almost too late at this point. Zrinski can win this race without GOP support. But I doubt Giovanni can do so without attracting a few Democrats. That will not happen if he fails to reach out to them. As my friend, Bishop Ron Angle once told me, "People like to be asked."

My family (Dems and Reps) got a mailer from the PA GOP asking to vote for Tom to honor Charlie Kirk??? We all thought it was bizarre and had nothing to do with any of the reasons that someone would actually consider voting for Tom.
I swear TG is trying his best to lose this election. Barring divine intervention or several major natural catastrophes TZ has this in the bag. Then your blog will be even more entertaining.
Mailers are a waste of money. No one is going to be swayed by a mailer.

The Republican Party of Pennsylvania sent out a mailer for Giovanni. It was pretty disgusting. It used Charlie Kirk's death as a way to motivate people to get the polls.
The Republicans need to get off their asses if they want to win. The Dems have been knocking on doors in my neighborhood- nothing from the Republicans.
Tom Giovanni voted to give a property tax break to warehouse developer Lou Pektor in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp. Now Pektor has Giovanni’s signs all over Pecker properties. Can’t wait to see Giovani’s fund report to see how much Pektor thinks that tax break was worth.
The only thing the Republicans are doing is holding fundraisers- no mailers, knocking on doors, etc. They don't have the voter registration advantage the Dems have, so they better get to work!
If the "quiet guy" wants to win, he better get off his ass and earn it.

The Republicans are running against a terribly flawed Executive candidate, yet I hear/ see nothing from them- I've received several mailers from the Dems, and they've been canvassing my neighborhood.

Yez, I do. In order to win votes, you need to reach those who cast them. You say there is little room, but there is some room among Ds and lots of room among Rs. People will note vote for you if they do not know you.
He doesn't have the money, and no consultant would spend limited funds sending mailers to Democratic MIB super voters such as yourself. Maybe you should also ask why Tara isn't mailing to Republican MIB super voters? Republicans will struggle enough just to get their own voters to show up on election day let alone convince enough Dems to crossover.
Tara is going to win this election with over 40K total votes and around 53%. The reason is that the Republicans have a serious turnout problem without Trump on the ballot. That probably explains the Kirk mailer. The Dems are currently up by 13K MIBs requested three weeks out. Game over.

I'm registered republican and I didn't get that flyer. I actually haven't gotten any flyers for the R's except to vote No on the judges. My wife registered D, she got all kinds of shit from the D people.

Sadly I agree with you. Pre Covid it was the republicans that won off year elections. Mail in voting changed that. Like Rahm Emanual said, never let a crisis got other waste.

I am registered independent, my spouse is registered dem. I get mailers from both parties. My spouse seems to only get them from dems, no republican. Maybe because the reps figure that with the amount of bashing the magas have subjected the dems to, a republican candidate might feel he would do better if the dems did not know he was a republican.
It appears that Giovanni has not learned from the county controller race a few years ago. The candidate who campaigned won, and won big, even though Cusick appeared to be the better qualified. Cusick ghosted his own campaign. Giovanni is repeating Cusick's blunder.

Tom Giovanni refused every invitation to debate. In my book, that automatically disqualifies him. Tara Zrinski is the far better candidate. If you're looking for real leadership, vote for her.
He did not vote for the health center. That was a big McClure initiative.
Barring a scandal, the individual candidates and campaigns are becoming irrelevant. There are more Ds in Norco that will turn out at a higher rate than Rs in off year elections. The MIB numbers are a disaster for Rs. Clark and Zrinski are going to win.

Giovanni & the rest of the Republicans are lazy- besides a few fundraisers & signs, nobody has heard from them. Everyone I talk to don't know or have even heard of Giovanni, who's become another Cusick- a ghost candidate. The Dems have canvassed my area a couple times now- nothing from the Republicans. If you're not going to give it 100%, don't run!

Apparently none on this blog are tracking all of the meet and greet events for this unified team and are not aware of the same type of mailers (endorsed candidates by the unified Republican Party). One should witness and interact with both parties’ candidates at the same time at a public event and then judge who deserves the votes. Be certain not to show up wearing those blinders, people.
Unified? You better be, since you're starting off w/ a voter registration deficit, and "the quiet one" is unknown outside of Wind Gap. Maybe your "team" is unified, but so are the NC Dems behind a terrible flawed candidate, since she's backed by the cabal of McCluless & Barron. A lot of people don't go to meet & greets- get off your asses, canvass areas & knock on some doors- the Dems have been all over my City.
