According to NBC, Democrat John Fetterman has defeated Republican Mehmet Oz in the race to fill the vacancy created by the departure of US Senator Pat Toomey. Unofficial results at the state elections website (1:45am) show Fetterman with 2,480,141 votes, compared to 2,353,299 for Oz.
Fetterman tweets, "It's official. I will be the next US Senator from Pennsylvania."
Actually, it's not official, although I think it will be hard for Oz to find 100,000 votes.
My hope is that Fetterman resigns and allows the Governor to appoint someone to fill his slot.

Sure, Bernie Fetterman will resign and then Shapiro will put in another left-wing democrat- the Pa. people will get everything they deserve.
Fetterman has the IQ of a muppet ling before the stroke. What a mess our State is in and an embarrassment. Can we get this guy to the thrift store and get him some clothes other then a dirty hoodie to go out in public?
Thankfully, we didn’t need a trump disciple as Senator of this great state. OZ was a phony and would have done nothing for the great people of Pennsylvania. This election was about democracy, a womens right to choose, and it appears America won this election. Thank god.

The support for Fetterman is puzzling.
The ex college student in KY who used a racial slur is in bigger legal trouble than the mayor committing (would could be charged as (per a PA Superior Court ruling)) aggravated assault by waving a shotgun at a Black jogger.
PA had a chance to add diversity to the Senate. Instead, it appears they'll send another white guy with a past of what would usually be labeled as racist behavior. Way to go.

Fetterman is going to do a good job for PA--he will ok many drugs, he will open as many prisons as he can,and he will stop fracking even he said he wants to frack.

Most of Fetterman vote came from the major cities of Pa.The rural people and suburbs did not vote for the asshole. Thats good because that plays to Fetterman's strength--Drugs and letting people out of jail.

I voted for all the candidates that ran against the Trump endorsed candidates. I had a really good number of winners. All Trump got was a group of whiners. Let's hope this is the end of the "DON".
