When Wicked Witch of West Easton Tricia Mezzacappa barged into Borough Hall on August 22, cursing and threatening to drown the Borough Council President, Easton police finally had enough of her histrionics and charged her with disorderly conduct and harassment.
On this blog, she claims she was upset because West Easton officials prevented her from getting "public records that are granted RTK requests. I even had the RTK request in my hand ... ."
I'm not sure how that justifies a death threat or ripping information from a community bulletin board. And as it turns out, her claim is untrue, like many of her claims. On Friday, the state Office of Open Records ruled she had no right to the records sought.
You see, she owed money from a previous request. She paid that sum, and then expected West Easton to roll over and immediately comply with her new request. Not so, says the Office of Open Records. If she fails to pay timely for records, she has no right to expect an agency to grant her immediate access to other records.
On this blog, Mezzacappa complains that "[o]nly in government can people pick and choose what they are 'allowed' to do." But this latest Open Record ruling reveals that, if anyone has been picking and choosing, it's been her.
And now she's got a date with a District Judge.
Incidentally, since 2001, she has filed 23 OOR appeals.

What hate? This is an accurate report of an appeal decided by the PA Office of Open Records. There is a link to the decision so anyone interested can read it.
I assume lots of public time and money was wasted by the Borough and the Open Records Office dealing with Tricia Mezzacappa's frivolous appeal.
Access to public records comes with certain responsibilities. Among those responsibilities is the duty to obey the law and use common sense.
Mezzacappa owes the officials and the employees of West Easton Borough a big apology. She should have more compassion for government employees since her late father worked for the federal government. His government salary gave her many advantages growing up, including an expensive education at Fordham University in NYC. She should have taken a course in Civility 101.
Too bad Fordham, a fine Jesuit-university, didn't teach Ms. Mezzacappa the gospel of St. Matthew, Chapter Five, Verse 22: "But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother shall be liable to the council, and whoever says, `You fool!' shall be liable to the hell of fire."
Or Verse 25: "Make friends quickly with your accuser, while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison."
I became facebook friends with Mz Mez because it appeared "normal" you know hobbies like CHURCH... But as I continue to read and actually see the documents here and learned about some of her choices this summer, she is nothing but trouble.

I post about her when something happens that is of relevance. When this political wannabe threatens o kill an elected official, I''l write about it. When she disrupts an office, ripping down information for the public, I'll write about it. And when she falsely claims that she was at the office to pick up a "granted" RTK request, I'll write about it. She's been caught in yet another lie. She is not an ex-girlfriend, was never anything more than a casual acquaintance and certainly was never in any position to judge the size of my penis. But I don't consider that remark defamatory. Insulting and juvenile, yes. Defamatory, no. She can bray about that all she wants.
It is her false accusations of criminality that are defamatory, They were designed to ruin my reputation, and I have sued her. This is a big game to her, but she is facing criminal charges and has been sued. She continues to dig her own hole.
