Reilly already has one active 55+ community on Jaindl Boulevard in Hanover Township, named by Where to Retire magazine as one of the top 100 best master planned communities in the United States.
His newest 55+ community, called Traditions of America at Bridle Path, will include 204 homes on a 68-acre lot. It will be built in phases.
In 2007, when this plan was first proposed, over 450 residents, most of them highly critical about traffic and the development's impact on Monocacy Creek, a highly regarded native brown trout stream. But nobody objected to the latest rendition of this development. It includes a substantial conservation easement along the Monocacy, along with improvements to Jacksonville and Bridle Path Roads.
Plans were presented by David Biddison, General Counsel to Traditions Capital.

Reilly is a really good developer and that's why I'm scratching my head on why he would want to get involved in any taxpayer funded project, even if it makes him god awful richer?

This is possibly the last such tract in the immediate Bethlehem area. It parallels the par 5 15th hole at muni. The golf course was considered Hanover Township until Beth Steel engineered a swap in order to provide land for a Bethlehem public course in the mid-50's.

So JB didn't even have the guts to show up in Hanover, sent a lawyer. Real class act.
Probably going to be another unfinished development like palumpas last tax dollars misappropreations. Two come to mind the one accross the street from the old salvation army than there is the parking lot of triky niki.
hmmm....what "improvements" to Jacksonville road?
Off the top of my head, I believe there will be a left turn lane added southbound on Jacksonville and some stormwater issues will be mitigated. I didn't get a good luck at the plan, but those are two items that were noted.
I'll nail them down. I'm sorry. My notes are not handy.
Jacksonville is over crowded already and that area has no room for a turn lane. They will to take some right of way from the homes there. Please please do not make the road wider...
one way has a bridge limiting traffic, the other is a small road with nice trees lining the street.
