Is Bethlehem's Mounted Police Unit Going to Glue Factory?

Updated 5 PM: According to Valley 610, the three horses have been spared. But they're pissed now and are running for City Council next year.

Did you hear about the Irishman who couldn't tell the difference between his two horses? His friend suggested measuring them, that didn't help though, the Irishman discovered that the brown horse was only an inch taller than the white one!

Another great use of stimulus funds. Use one time funds to purchase a continuing expense. brilliant. I guess we can rest assured that some horses had jobs over the past two years when otherwise they might not have.

Hay, be kind. These horses have mudders and fodders.

Agree with previous comment re: losing the horses' asses first.

I think he should keep them. Bethlehem has a long tradition of mounted police, and used them to bash in the skulls of steelworkers back in the day.

reading the link, this sounds like a council attempt with the mayor supporting the pretty horsies. it actually sounds like council is trying to send the unit to the alpo factory.

Yeah, it's Council.

I think they're popular because they're hung like horses.
