Bethlehem to Close Saucon Park to One and All

Unless you have a permit, you're not getting in on weekends. In response to complaints that it's unfair to allow residents to continue using Saucon Park, the City has decided to limit access to anyone but those with a permit.

From Bethlehem: Starting at dawn on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 officers will be stationed at each entrance to the park in order to prevent entrance to the park. This policy will be enforced through the weekend and until dusk on Monday, September 7th, 2015 at which point normal park operations will resume throughout the week.  Starting at dawn on Saturday, September 14, 2015, the park will be open only to pavilion permit holders and their guests through the weekend.  For the remainder of the picnic season, the park will be open from dawn until dusk during the week and open only to permit holders on the weekends.  Anyone interested in renting a pavilion call the number below or access the city’s website at www.bethlehem-pa.gov.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue to address the ongoing situation in Saucon Park.
