Alan Fowler, RIP

Alan Fowler, a former supervisor in administrative services at Northampton County, passed away last night. He was first brought on board by Executive Gerald Seyfred, but was demoted by Executive Bill Brackbill. He sued, and when Glenn Reibman was elected Executive, was restored to his old tile. He oversaw telecommunications, printing and mail distribution.

He made sure the DA had envelopes.

Fowler also served for a number of years on the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

He and his family lived in Saylorsburg.
