In what certainly is good news for Democrat Bob Brooks and bad news for Republican Ryan Mackenzie, the Pa. Commonwealth Court has tossed "Green" party candidate Andrew Topne off the ballot in the race for the Pa. 07 Congressional District. I will post the Opinion later tonight or tomorrow.
Commonwealth Court jurist Stella M Tsai, in a 33-page Opinion, concludes that, to be a nominee of the Green party, he should have sought a nomination from that party.

Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. ReplyDeleteIf the state does not allow the Green party (or any party other than Dem. or Rep.) to have primaries in the spring, then shouldn't anyone who is registered as [X] party who meets the signature qualifications file to be on the ballot? If the Green Party doesn't support Tupone, who's their candidate? If they don't have one, then they should not be throwing a temper tantrum because some guy met all the qualifications. Seems to be some covert operatives working in the background on this one.
ReplyDeleteSome folks that always want to avoid election irregularities, seem a little disappointed that here the rules are being followed. Instead, they claim the court decision is partisan and biased since they do not agree with it, and it is contrary to the echo chamber where they live.
