PoliticsPa - July Registration Data Shows Independent Increase, Party Affiliation Decrease

I often read stories telling me that President Donald Trump's approval ratings are tanking, especially when it comes his bizarre approach to tariffs. But he's a rock star compared to Democrats. A recent WSJ Poll reveals that only about a third of registered voters have a favorable view of what was once considered the champion of blue-collar voters. On almost every issue, excepting healthcare and vaccines, Republicans and Trump are more trusted.

The polling data appears to be backed up by Pennsylvania's voter registration statistics. According to PoliticsPA, the number of registered Democrats has declined statewide since October. They have lost nearly 4.2% of their registered voters.

Is this a cause for celebration among Republicans? No. They've lost 1.15% of their voters.

The beneficiary of this decline in party registration has been independents. They've grown by 1.15%.

Northampton and Lehigh Counties still have a Democratic edge, but it's wearing thin in NorCo, where the lead is just 3.8%. In Lehigh County, it is 7.9%. In Carbon County, Republicans have a 21.3% lead.

Tell us the policies of the democratic party?

So far, censorship and government propaganda news media have been able to largely hide that whole Obama/Clinton/Biden conspiracy that is looming underneath. When official Indictments fail (they will) the public’s view of Democrats will surely drop even further. The misbehavior will be impossible to keep out of daily conversation.

Watch for even more voter registration changes to Independent.

Peace talks instead of more endless wars, strong economy, shutting the border (it took five minutes). Promises made. Promises kept. I'm an libertarian/Independent who doesn't like blowhard Trump at all. But you can't argue with his success on the major issues. Democrats are as old and stale as the fake Covid shots and riotously worthless paper masks they forced everyone to wear lest they die. When most had finally had enough overreaching government, Democrats campaigned on giving us more. What a dead party.

Wait. time is coming when the youngsters will see how the Republicans screw the poor, the elderly and the needy but take care of the wealthy. The cuts that the Trumpers are making didn't impact their present situation as it pertains to health and social programs. It's coming and when it does, they will wake up. Unfortunately, it will be too late. We are losing our allies and making more enemies than friends. It will take time, unfortunately, the impact of all these cuts will hit home.

what do democrats expect when they think men should be in women sports and in their locker rooms. And human traffickers should be visited by sitting US senators. The party is gone

I wonder why people switch to independent when it restricts their voting rights in this state

The hatred from the Democrats appears to be intense. Like children who didn't get their own way, they make mistakes in their tantrums. Case in point - Stacy Garrity (according to the Dems) voted for the Big Beautiful Bill. Neat feat if our State Treasurer can now moonlight as a US Congresswoman.

No one hurt the American people more than the democratic party.

Restrict? Primaries are for chumps. Last time I checked, Joe Biden won every single primary, including PA, and Kamala Harris won zero. Dems went to the polls thinking their primary vote actually mattered. Their votes weren't restricted. Their votes were thrown in the trash. Pretty funny, actually.

I switched, because both parties continued to sicken me, and I didn't want to be associated with either in any way.
