At last week's meeting of NorCo Council's Courts and Corrections Committee, DA Steve Baratta that he expects a "Gracedale report" from an investigating grand jury within the next six weeks. He indicated that the report is likely going to be focused on "issues of patient safety that we were made aware of over the past year. I don't want to shock anyone when they file the report, but at the end of the grand jury period, they're required to do that if they so choose. And I believe they want to write a report."

Before, or after, the congressional primary?
The Gracedale saga seems to never end. It’s time to sell.
Will we find out what happened to the McClure/Barron/Zohrinski $400K that employees were supposed to get - but didn't? Are charges a possibility?
Past time for Northampton to become the 57th county in the Commonwealth that does not own or operate a nursing home.
The jewel of the county now a subject of a grand jury investigation.
It's likely a crime or crimes have occurred there. A lot of money is missing while senior centers are closing. An independent investigation is long overdue.
Lamont is going around supporting Unions to get contracts they want but when it came to Gracedale afsme he was horrible and would not budge on ANYTHING!! He is slime..He let agency take over Gracedale!!!!!!!
A review of the budget and line items that were tagged for specific funding and not to be comingled with any federal funding should be quite revealing. Funds were intermingled with the general funds to cover losses, but no one is discussing who or how the funds were moved.
What is happening, and more importantly, not happening, at Gracedale is worthy of investigation.
I fully support DA Baratta's attempt to ascertain exactly what is going on and to act appropriately if such a report may warrant further criminal investigations.
I want to know, Why now Barrata?
Now you look into something which has been in discussion for months?
