As of 8 AM, Northampton County Emergency Services reports widespread power outages, is predicting major flooding along the Delaware River at Easton, and minor flooding along the Lehigh River at Walnutport. The best news is that there were no reports of any casualties at that time.

I was going to joyride through dangerous standing water until I got the Ken Kraft notification. Whew!
Thank God we have another Long Dem like Ken Kraft, Democrat seeking office in District one, telling us not to do anything dangerous.
I too am very thankful. The lengths folks will go to to become an O'Hare mancrush.
Bethlehem Area School District is closed... No Monday break from the kids for the adults
3.9 inches of rain at my house. Lost a branch on a Bradford Pear.
The storm two weeks ago delivered 5.8 inches and tore flashing from my house.
This storm was a bit overdone.
The best part was watching Ichabod Koltnow on the hokey local station standing in waist deep water telling people not to stand in waist deep water. He looked like a superhero being buffeted by wind and rain until a couple of locals strolled by smiling and waving behind him.
Ridiculous.
I live in Easton and the city did a great job throughout the storm. I have to give credit to our mayor. He was out there and reassuring everyone that everything would be okay and it was. Kudos Mayor Panto.
