NorCo Elections Office, Area Agency on Aging Schedule Elections Presentations at Senior Centers

From Northampton County: The Northampton County Area Agency on Aging and the Elections Office announce a series of specialized election presentations exclusively for senior citizens residing in Northampton County beginning in August.

These informative presentations aim to provide the senior community with knowledge on effectively exercising their voting rights. Key topics of the presentations will include assistance for senior citizens in voter registration, how to apply for mail-in ballots, instructions on completing mail-in ballot envelope procedures, and more. Elections staff will be available during the sessions to assist attendees with any questions they may have and will provide necessary documentation for same-day completion.

"We are excited to announce a partnership between our Elections Office and the Area Agency on Aging to enhance voter education among our residents,” says Executive Lamont G. McClure. “It is crucial that our senior community members are well-informed about the voting process and have the resources they need to participate in elections."

The Northampton County’s Area Agency on Aging Division and the Elections Office encourage interested senior citizens to attend an informative session.

The session dates and locations can be found below.

I hope Lamont reminds indigent seniors that during the next pandemic, they'll get to die alone, without the presence of family under the care of the National Guard. Old people need to understand government science, as delivered by an ambulance chasing lawyer who can't maintain a socially responsible, healthy weight.

Of particular interest is the session on how to harvest names off of graves.

It is important that the elderly vote. They have been hurt the most over the last few years of

joe's fiasco. They will suffer more under harris.

What is a socially responsible weight? That is truly a bizarre statement from an obviously unbalanced person who has to lace ugly and irrelevant personal attacks in her commentary.

8:23, I live in a mostly senior community and am shocked at how few Dems are here, even though most of what these seniors have are directly due to Democratic programs. Most are Trump supporters, but very few are registered to vote.

If McClure was as partisan as he is made out to be, he would not be in a rush to make it easier for seniors to exercise their right to vote. The fact that he is doing this is evidence that he does believe that a fair election is one in which as many voices are heard as is possible.

This sounds like a great step
forward for the Elections Office.

Don't worry Bernie a vote for Kamala is a vote for the view our country will then be in good hands.

Curious. Old people who want to vote have been doing it for years. What exactly do they need to be taught? I saw the push to vote in long term care facilities where the push was political and people were signed up to vote that cognitively they didn't understand who they were voting for. This I'm a little concerned what is being sold . People reaching out are politically motivated perhaps for their party preferences?

We push voting but don't care about voter ID. I don't get it

I smell illegal ballot harvesting. tell granny to fill in Kamala's dot or trick her to do it. then have someone else put in the envelope and sign it because the signature doesn't need to match per below. then take multiple votes to drop boxes per below. more mail in ballots increases fraud per New york times in 2012. Pennsylvania has approximately 700 nursing homes with more than 88,000 beds and reason dems love it there.

Already harvesting votes with the help of Northampton co agency on aging. This administration has a faked factual number of the dead and dying in there area so they can produce ballots for the dead.

'If McClure was as partisan as he is made out to be'

Right, he is more so. You are full in on the koolade and that's sad. Your last few posts have been homage to your mancrush McClure. If you only knew rh truth. You can't see what you don't want to.

Hey Bernie. This is how the GOP in PA rolls. We would have a more effective government without them.....

Pennsylvania presidential election results could again take days to count

Typical national party talking points aside, the way this administration is run is machine politics all the way. Staff threatened with their jobs, siloing of departments and pitted against each other, etc. And it all seems to filter up to McClure. I had high hopes when this administration came in but it's just gotten progressively worse. When you see these rumors of shady dealings with the Dixie project and other things, I can only think the allegations are increasingly plausible.

What rumors with respect to Dixie ?State specifically what you’re talking about ? Or, are you just on here trying to smear good people.

@3:26 regarding Dixie, the allegations detailed on this very blog and called out in public council meetings. The project stinks and for some reason, out of all the projects in the County, the Executive threw his whole weight behind it. The most charitable reading of that is that it was poor judgement. The public can view these actions and judge for themselves. There's no need to "smear", those watching aren't blind.
