Last time I wrote about Allentown Democratic operative Ed "DisGrace" DeGrace, he had just been convicted of summary harassment over a punch he threw at a fellow Democrat. He was fined $100 and ordered to pay costs for a total of $301.25 following a trial before Magisterial District Judge Ronald S Manescu. Guess what? It's happened again. Same charge. Same victim. Same judge. But this time, it is Allentown police who filed a new charge on Tuesday, based on a confrontation the previous day.

Victim Tom Osborne, who lives near DisGrace, was confronted on his way home. From what I've been able to gather, there was no physical violence this time. Just death threats. Osborne declined to speak about the matter because it is still pending.

By the by, he is still a CCD instructor at St. Thomas Aquinas. The pastor there refuses to do anything about him. Hey, if the Catholic Church is willing to cover up the sexual misconduct of priests, what's the problem with a foul-mouthed thug teaching catechism to children?

Allentown Dem Operative Ed DeGrace Charged With Harassment

Allentown Democratic operative Ed "DisGrace" DeGrace has been charged with summary harassment over a punch he threw a few weeks ago. Amazingly, the victim is another Democrat.

Tom Osborne, who is as blue as they come, while sitting in his car with his grandson, told police that DisGrace popped him. They declined to fie charges because DeGrace denied anything had happened. The Lehigh County DA, however, approved a private complaint for summary harassment when several witnesses claimed that DeGrace had bragged about it.

The penalty for summary harassment is usually a small fine of up to $300.

Ed "Disgrace" DeGrace is a goon who used threats, intimidation and profanity to silence anyone who dares criticize Allentown Mayor Edwin Pawlowski. He has the distinction of being the first anonymous troll I ever outed, way back in 2008. That has made no difference in his behavior. He's also the man behind a $8,000 illegal contribution to Fed Ed's first mayoral run in 2005. He chaired the PAC which donated this money, but has never filed a report indicating where he got his money.

He tried to intimidate me at a campaign rally for now Supreme Court Justice Kevin Dougherty and during the summary trial of a teacher who convinced Allentown students to boycott class. On both occasions, he made a fool out of himself.

Despite his sordid reputation, Ce-Ce Gerlach was only too happy to use him in her Allentown City Council race, and even complimented him on Facebook.

His summary trial is scheduled for July 9, 2:30 pm, before Magisterial District Judge Ronald S Manescu.

Fed Ed Goon Attempts To Silence Two Bloggers in One Day

I've written several times about Fed Ed Goon Ed "Disgrace" DeGrace, a bully who uses threats, intimidation and profanity to silence anyone who dares criticize Allentown Mayor Edwin Pawlowski. He has the distinction of being the first anonymous troll I ever outed, way back in 2008. That has made no difference in his behavior. He's also the man behind a $8,000 illegal contribution to Fed Ed's first mayoral run in 2005. He chaired the PAC which donated this money, but has never filed a report indicating where he got his money. Yesterday, he did his best to muzzle both Michael Molovinsky and yours truly.

Molovinsky warned Allentown School Board candidate Mark Smith about Disgrace, and this is what ensued.

I was unaware of this when I attended a rally for Supreme Court candidate Kevin Dougherty yesterday. State Rep. Danny McNeill was telling me about the state budget impasse when Disgrace barged in with and interrupted our conversation with insults. This continued until I began snapping his picture.

When the rally finally started, I began photographing the speakers and taking notes on their remarks. But DisGrace got behind me and began taunting me as I worked, making it impossible for me to catch more than a few words. You can actually see DisGrace in action at 2:00 to 2:16 of this video.

His taunts had reached the point where they were beginning to distract the speakers as well as me.

Eventually, he was pulled away, and I believe he must have been asked to leave.

DisGrace exemplifies everything that is wrong with Allentown politics.

Pawlowski Cheerleader Ed Disgrace Forced To Recant Libel

Over the years, I've had a number of internet run-ins with one of King Edwin's less erudite soldiers, Ed DeGrace. They go all the way back to 2008, when I wrote about Allentown Mayor Edwin Pawlowski's strong-arm tactics against a 75 year-old woman who dared conduct yard sales outside her Turner Street home. [REDACTED] exploded with vicious diatribes aimed at Lázaro Fuentes (with an á, damn it!), Michael Molovinsky, Scott Armstrong and yours truly. This, I would soon learn, is standard fare from Pawlowski's horde.

[REDACTED] is actually Edward DeGrace, described by Scott Armstrong as a Pawlowski apologist. "He's part of the city machine and will do what he has to do to make sure the machine succeeds." DeGrace, who actually hails from Cape Verde, is a Democratic activist who worked for Pawlowski's 2005 mayoral campaign. He chaired Latinos for a New Lehigh Valley, which donated $8,000 to King Edwin in October 2005, but never filed a campaign finance report indicating where it got its money. I contacted DisGrace and asked him where he got that money, which I believe was laundered by Pawlowski. "I've got nothing to say to you," DisGrace said, and then hung up during a brief phone conversation in 2012.

DisGrace has continued to act as one of Pawlowski's pit bulls, mostly at the ASD: Issues and Discussion Facebook group.

He's been awful quiet since news of the federal investigation has surfaced. On Sunday, he actually retracted some vicious online statements he had made about an ASD employee, after a demand that he do so from Solicitor John Freund. Of course, it was done insincerely, but it's enough to establish that he is a liar.
