How about a Bag of Sludge?

So yesterday, in Bill White regular "What Is It?" column, he showcased an item owned by the Sultan of Sludge, Ron Angle. His Eminence has even offered to take the lucky winner out to lunch with me and him.

Dour and misguided blogger Michael Molovinsky told White that he "would consider the prize a punishment." Instead of defending us, White tells Molovinsky, "I know what you mean."

Bastards.

So for the one or two people on the planet who would not kill his mother for a chance to dine with us, Ron's going to sweeten the pot. In addition to the lunch, he's throwing in a bag of free sludge, right out of his own ass. That has many uses. For example, Upper Mount Bethel is using Angle's sludge pellets to light their Christmas tree.

183rd State House Candidates to Debate

Twenty-year incumbent Julie Harhart came under criticism by The Morning Call's Bill White during the primary, when she was too busy to debate fellow republican Marc Grammes. White, who called her a "living advertisement for term limits" also called her "someone who can be relied upon to vote however the party leadership tells her to vote ... ."

Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

But are Independent Michael Molovinsky or Democrat Terri Powell any better? This is your chance to find out. Molovinsky has begged me NOT to endorse him. Something about being the kiss of death. But how could you not vote for someone with his winning smile and easy manner?

He had it placed strategically so that it's the first thing Julie Harhart sees when she goes to her office. I think she dove into the Lehigh.

Molovinsky was so good on a recent on-air appearance on WDIY with Alana Jennings that the station manager refused to run it. He was afraid it might upset the powerful. That's why Molovinsky should be elected.

Molovinsky Gets No Respect

This is a district? 

Michael Molovinsky, who is running as an Independent in the 183rd state house race, was going to have a Meet-and-Greet at The American Legion in Slatington tonight. He rented the place and made arrangements for whatever refreshments would be served. But the day before the event, he received an apologetic call from The Legion, telling him to find another place. Part of the reason might be based on a Legion misunderstanding of the rules that apply to nonprofits. But it's also politics. The Molovinsky camp was told that State Rep. Julie Harhart would be unhappy to learn he had an event there.

This is the kind of thing that happens to an Independent.
