There are currently four Congressional candidates in the Pa. 07 race. Republican incumbent Ryan Mackenzie and Democrats Lamont McClure, Carol Obando-Derstine and Ryan Croswell.
Croswell, a Republican who recently turned Democrat, is the newest of the bunch. He only announced in June. According to his July quarterly, he has already raised $320,979.91. But interestingly, all but one of his contributions are from outside of the district. In fact, most of them are from outside of the state.
This should come as no surprise, as he has resided pretty much everywhere but in the Lehigh Valley he now wants to represent.
McClure raised $87,121.93 between March and the end of June and currently has $92,768.15 in his campaign account. Although much of his money comes from within the district, they also include people who are employed by the county. He also reports $27,000 from five different trade unions.
The July quarterlies for Obando-Derstine and Mackenzie are still unavailable to me. I was able to examine the "raw data" online for McClure and Croswell, but the information for the other two candidates is still unavailable.

Democrat Lamont McClure has raised $229,386.04 between Jan 1 and Jun 30. He has spent $136,617.89, leaving him with a treasury of $92,768.15.

Looks like COD raised 208K and had $123K COH.
He has pretty much the same out of state funding stream as Susan Wild. You endorsed her three times. It's funny watching you shape shift. Your hypocrisy is a riot. The DEI candidate and her out of state money will win the D primary by crushing the out of state guy and you ruddy-faced man crush. Bet the ranch.
Crosswell is still a Republican. Didnt leave the Republican Party until December 26, 2024. Let that one sink in for a minute. He’s a fraud.
Anyone supporting Lamont or those he is mentoring should take a good hard look at how he has treated the seniors of Norco at Gracedale. Yes - then spread that out to 7th Congressional District in his race. Trump appears to like Mackenzie (he’s been at several of his events). Think on that. The Trump effect will continue on into the midterms.
Surprisingly high number of Schuylkill County-related names given the size of the county and the number of individuals on the list. The first name I recognized was described by his brother (deceased) in 2013 and 2014 to be a Republican. That said, it’s a lot of money from elsewhere.
On Monday I answered the door and a young gal handed me a card and asked me to consider supporting no other than Mr. Croswell. I reside in Lower Nazareth Twsp. They are already going door to door for him. Now you report that he has over $300,000.oo in his campaign fund. I'm not supporting an outsider and I certainly won't support a "Wild" candidate.
Wow, McClure is really sucking. He raised the second lowest amount of money and has the least left on hand.
It’s time for him to drop out and let the other two fight it out.
Ryan is killing it. No one else need apply.
Visit Gracedale, especially after the last event. It’s a ghost town with sparse unsmiling residents and staff . Lamont should pack
It in now.
That's a lot of do-re-mi, sez me. COD; backed by Susan Wild so the COD must mean Crappy Ol' Democrat.
2:41 -- Social media detectiving reveals that all he does is whine about MacKenzie; no substance or solutions, just moaning, moaning, and more moaning about MacKenzie. Perhaps the act is growing old already.
The same way he shifted his support for Bullhorn. It wasn't that long ago, when Bernie called her a crazy opportunist- now he's all in. He plays favorites, and seldom calls balls & strikes. He has a weird McCluless man crush, so expect the continued attacks on his opponents till November.
McClure should send more time trying to work on Gracedale , instead of bullshitting families and focusing on his ill-fated congress run. With his awful temperament and personality, he should get nowhere near D.C.
He has the worst personality of any politician I know- even worse than John Brown!
It’s true! He voted for the BBB blah blah blah. All those people at Gracedale will be getting a 6k tax credit on their SS while they get substandard care from a temp agency. He’s all talk no action.
