Embattled Police Chief Out in Washington Tp

Scott Miller is no longer Washington Township's Police Chief. His employment ended there yesterday. Supervisors approved a settlement agreement last night under which he has been paid $15,000 (3 months pay) to go away. "This Agreement lets us put this unfortunate matter behind us and focus on making this Township the best it can be," states the Resolution.

Miller was involved in a one-vehicle crash on January 6 at Michael Drosnock's home along Kessersville Rd in Plainfield Township. Prior to this accident, he had been at a sports bar for eight hours. Though he was "mush-mouthed" and one officer could smell alcohol, he was never tested or charged. Once DA Terry Houck was made familiar with the circumstances, Miller was charged with two road violations.

  1. Totally unacceptable that the Slate Belt Regional Police Dept practiced "code blue" in protecting him. Those two officers should have notices placed in their files, and admonished. No problem for Miller - some other municipality will scoop him up like the dung that he is. Ain't government grand?

  11. FOREVER The Slate Belt Regional Police Department is now known for being a corrupt bunch of unethical bad cops with this cover up. What a crew of low life bottom feeders with badges.
Kudos top you Mr. O'Hare for uncovering this puss pit of law enforcement.

  12. Those Slate Belt Officers are tainted bad cops. There should be discipline to them both. They covered up a crime and did not due the sworn oath they took as a policeman. No ethics and corrupt. Slate Belt should be disbanded. This is a very good reason why NOT to regionalize. The commission has NO control over this bunch of thugs and dirtbags. Slate Belt Regional is a free range of derelict police officers. Disband and go back to local control. If this was local control of the police department those two thugs would be gone for covering up for this bad cop.

  14. When is that lying sneak Mark J. Gwozdz's hearing? Washington Township has one more to send down the road slithering. Any man that would lie about his military career only to find out he was in tossed out of the reserves for going AWOL. Lied to the whole area that he was in the Marines and was only in reserves and was tossed for failing to show up. Any man that hits a woman is NO MARINE. What a lying wife beating cheat.

  15. I agree that Washington Township needs to cleanse itself of these two- Gwozdz and Miller. Now Miller is gone now its time to toss the last piece of garbage out. CORRUPT COPS have No place in Washington Township Police!

  16. Any word from the disgrace FORMER Chief Miller on how that dream he is livin is doing?

  17. He sold out for 15K? Accepted pennies to go away. It shows that investigation must have uncovered alot of filth. The 15K is more like 8,500 when he pays his lawyer. Hopefully this drunk gets the help he needs and gets himself into a drug alcohol rehab program. I wonder who at Washington Township is NOTIFYING MPOTEC?

HIS MPOTEC PAPERWORK MUST BE FILED IMMEDIATELY!
IT IS WASHINGTON TOWNSHIPS RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY THE Municipal Police Officers Training and education Commission- MPOTEC. They should have notified them already about Gwozdz's arrest by now as well.

  18. Who is he calling for a tow these days?

  19. Hat tip to Terry Houck and SBRPD for coordinating the cover-up. There's no need to wreck more cops' lives - even if they failed to follow procedures and let a dangerous drunk off the hook. because he was one of them. Our DA's first act in office was to conspire in a police cover-up. We elected a dirty top cop in NorCo. Disgraceful.

  20. Did they notify the State Commission so this bad cop does not get another job?

  21. This man needs to get into rehab and get his life together. If drinking, adultery, wife beating and losing your career of a wake up call what is? Recovery Revolution should offer him a free ticket in the door to counselling before his insurance goes away and they wont help him.

  22. I see that pic of his broken front wheel in the paper and think that is what he did to his career, reputation and life. Maybe if Slate Belt Regional would have done what they are sworn to do instead of a cover up and corruption he might get the help he needs. what a hot mess ha has made out of his life. Scott get help please now.

  23. I wonder if Miller will be Gwozdz character witness at his wife beater trial?

  24. NO Marine would never hit a woman and it all came out about his lying about his military service to the whole region. Fake Marine GWOZDZ can follow Miller out of town.

  25. Thank you Mr. O'Hare for exposing this evil in the Slate Belt and reporting it.

  26. Gwozdz has a a below average pickel.... That why his ex's call him "pickel" its not even a polish kielbasa but a gherkin...little marky is know all around

  27. Another example of how the cover-up is worse than the crime.

  28. Terry Houck gets a D for his first real test as DA.

  29. The 2 dirty cops in Slate Belt regional need to be exposed & shown the door too!

  30. I wonder what the investigator found? It was enough for Miler to take a few bucks and disappear. He did make a name for himself didn't he. The tow company wife is just another one on the list. ask anyone that worked at the local convenience markets.... Miller and Gwozdz are both disgusting men after young girl that they are old enough to be their fathers.

  31. Gherkins although short in length can be quite thick relatively speaking, also the nodules can be quite stimulating to the recipient. Also it's not the size per say but how it is operated Gwozdz is known to be a smooth and experienced pipe layer some of the haters probably have sisters or SOs who got the Polski pickle piledriver.

  32. What's up with that hot piece of tail he is/was going to marry that was also a cop. If she arrested me I would love it.
