May's revenues at Pennsylvania's 12 casinos are up over the same period last year, but it's less than 1%. Pennsylvania's Gaming Control Board reports that total revenues of $280,194,999, slightly more than the $277,967,930 reported in May 2015. Table games accounted for $71,342,206 of the total revenue, up nearly seven percent over the same period last year. But slots revenue was down by 1.1%.
Locally, the Bethlehem Sands shows $27,926,345.88 in slots revenue in May 2016, up 4.92% over the same period last year. The Sands had the largest increase in slots revenue among the state's casinos. Table games revenue was $19,555,561, which is 7.39% more than the same period last year. Overall, revenue was up 5.92%, well above the state average.
