Willie Reynolds has defeated Dana Grubb to secure the Democratic nod for Mayor. With MIBs still waiting to be tallied in Lehigh County, his lead there is 782-531. In Northampton County, where the mail-in ballots have been counted, Willie leads 2,692 to 1,643. It is mathematically impossible for Dana to win.
Reynolds will go on the face John Kachmar, the Republican nominee, in the general election.

DeleteGrubb never had a chance. The best part of Reynolds' win was the landslide defeat of the STP and their cohorts, like Diamond, Holland, and Fiorentino.

ReplyDeleteFirst, will Dana endorse Willie over Kachmar? I think he said he would support Willie what asked at the PBS debate.
ReplyDeleteSecond, Kachmar has no chance of winning. While Grubb's hardcore supporters may vote for him, I doubt every Grubb voter has the same disdain for Willie that the Hollands and Diamonds of the world do.
Third, Grubb should thank Bryan Callahan for not running. Bryan would have just siphoned votes from Grubb apparently.
