Willie Reynolds Wins Resounding Victory in Bethlehem

Willie Reynolds has defeated Dana Grubb to secure the Democratic nod for Mayor. With MIBs still waiting to be tallied in Lehigh County, his lead there is 782-531.  In Northampton County, where the mail-in ballots have been counted, Willie leads 2,692 to 1,643. It is mathematically impossible for Dana to win.

Reynolds will go on the face John Kachmar, the Republican nominee, in the general election.

    1. Take look around and see what's going on. This little town is going to be the next Austin TX or maybe even NYC. Pathetic.

  2. Grubb never had a chance. The best part of Reynolds' win was the landslide defeat of the STP and their cohorts, like Diamond, Holland, and Fiorentino.

  3. Have you ever been to Austin or NYC or are you just making shit up in your head? Bethlehem should aspire to be like Austin. University town, growing on a yearly basis, heavy with tech/finance jobs, property values soaring, great food, culture, night life...

  5. The problem is the far left in Bethlehem doesn't like the Lehigh students off campus or coming down the hill and doesn't want to grow.

  6. Another 5 steps backwards for leadership in Bethlehem. Don't run for office or try and be a city employee in Bethlehem unless you are stocked up on knee pads and chap stick. The good ole boys and girls club keeps on keeping on.

  7. Kachmar has to get out the Republican vote and pull in the moderate Dems who feel the party has left them.

  8. First, will Dana endorse Willie over Kachmar? I think he said he would support Willie what asked at the PBS debate.

Second, Kachmar has no chance of winning. While Grubb's hardcore supporters may vote for him, I doubt every Grubb voter has the same disdain for Willie that the Hollands and Diamonds of the world do.

Third, Grubb should thank Bryan Callahan for not running. Bryan would have just siphoned votes from Grubb apparently.
