Christina "Tori" Morgan, a Commissioner in South Whitehall Township since 2009, has been given the boot.  She finished a distant third of three candidates seeking two slots for the Republican nomination to Comm'r. Former Comm'r Brad Osborne has penned a series of stories about the problems in South Whitehall. He will have a  more detailed story about this race on Thursday.

  3. How sad is it that Lame Duck Morgan, 5th place Sleepy Joe Setton and 6th place finisher Champagnie will decide who is appointed to fill 7 months of Mad matty Mobilios term, until the swearing in after the "special" election.

I preedict a vote to remove the dam, raise taxes, A motion to appoint Maerk Pinsley to the vacancy board, a Ban on Plastic straws, and general obstrcution by lame Duck Morgan and her sinking ship of cronyism

  4. I wonder what those financial audits will show now that the people have spoken?

  6. Long is a lightweight. Very little substance. . . The least qualified of all the candidates. So naturally, he will be Morgans choice. She seems to like other Commissioners she can control.

  7. If Renee Bickel was smart she'd run like hell. Eventually these audits will drowned her..Queen Victoria wont be there to sugar coat Renee. The woman is not smart enough to be a township manager ! She has a company car and lives too far away to be a manager there in South Whitehall ! Lets see JAIL TIME for fraudulent audits and spending far too much money...I smell something sour about to happen, when auditors come invade the township records..Popcorn for sale on Walbert Ave....bring your own lawn chair.

  8. How effective can a mama's boy be on a township. He's never amounted to anything EVER. Even at 16 he'd show up to volunteer, work for 5 minutes, then sit back and just chatter!!! At the zoom meeting tonight he was referred to as a business owner. Yet, it's not apparent he owns crap on Daddy's company. His bio says after 5 yrs in a CORPORATE ENVIRONMENT (let's see.... Bill Heydt hired him to work at the Lehigh County Repub Comm, as well as his insurance company) What did he accomplish at either? He's a loser! When he didn't live in the district to run for State Rep mommy and daddy paid for his apartment at Trexler Park so he'd qualify for the residency requirements. The fact that voters spoke and are telling Tori where to go is evidence that her pay to play endorsement is just that..... a pay to play! I'm popping the popcorn and going to sit back and what what this moron accomplishes in 7 months! My guess is, much like everything else in his life it's just something to put on his resume. I see him as someone who has never amounted to anything, but wants to be king! Sorry Benny Boy, it ain't happening!!!!!

    1. I'd like to know who this is. Sounds like you've got some really personal animosity towards Mr. Long. Until you reveal yourself, I give you no credence at all.

  9. Everyone on this is ANONYMOUS! Ben Long is NOT qualified to be a chosen fill-in. Goes to show the person above knows what they "are" talking about. Its all over where people know Ben,Mommy and Daddy gave Tori Morgan a "donation-bribe", to get her to pick the little boy so he could play with the grownups! And Tori Morgan had all day after she LOST, to get the fill-in commissioner to agree with HER pick.
Its all over the newspapers about the "donations"....

    1. But not everyone is making personal attacks on someone without any real proof. Reveal yourselves, you cowards, and show us your evidence if you want us to believe you. Methinks I detect the presence of a green-eyed monster.
