Gregory Lied To Judge Zito

In the contempt proceedings Friday, one of the defenses offered by Gregory is that he could not possibly have posted the Facebook and other comments attributed to him because police had confiscated all of his electronic devices. He claimed the remarks were made by either his nephew Sean or Tricia Mezzacappa. Judge Zito did not believe him.

Writing as Jim Gregory, the now jailed woman beater made these statements at The Express Times last week, following the first contempt finding:
I was under the impression that wed be coming back to continue the hearing, now I read otherwise. The judge was in such a hurry to get to lunch, he left everyone hanging. As far as the alleged sex tape charges, the police cane up with nothing. Absolutely nothing. They were bogus from the beginning and I have a witness to prove this. So now what, Mr. District Attorney. Time to call the attorney general to look into your office.

Of course all the above comments do not include the name of the author. I had 4 witnesses there to rebut the false testimony of the complainant. They were never allowed to testify. I was never allowed to present my side of the testimony. The judge deemed someone competant who lied constantly to his face. He never allowed us to present testimony. It was a sad joke. I always respected judge zito and prayed that he be allowed to go beyond 70.
However, I seriously question now his ability to continue
its sad.
So it's pretty clear he lied to a judge under oath. An absence of goofy posts from him, his supposed nephew, "Jimmania," "Tomfoolery" and numerous other pseudonyms under which he wrote, is the icing on the cake.

  1. Bernie,

I am sorry, but it isn't clearly evident what the point is that you are trying to make. That or I am too dense in the head. Is there another way that you can explain the point that you are trying to make that JG lied? Thanks.

  2. Jim lied to everyone. Will he follow through with his "Deep Throat" threat & reveal all of the political secrets he promised, if incarcerated?

Thank You, Mr. O'Hare, for your journalistic public service. You have proved your critics wrong.

  3. once bo attaches his teeth to your ass, his favorite place, he doesn't let go. then he has always enjoyed the stink.

I'm sure there are much more important things happening somewhere........

  4. Of course there are. There are even more important things than the Lehigh Valley. But I write primarily about what goes on here, even when people like the Blog Mentor don't like it and try to divert attention.

Jim Gregory is a former Beth City Council President, LV Labor Council VP, human services caseworker for Northampton County and is heavily involved in Lehigh Valley politics. This story is by no means over.

    1) What about the money he raised for a PAC that was never established?

    2) He lives in a home bequeathed to him by a woman unrelated to him. Was she one of his clients?

    3) Did he take advantage of clients and use their casino cards to gamble?

  5. Why hasn't anyone from his party spoken out against this lifelong party operative, Jim Gregory (D - Northampton)?

I guess after Brennan, this guy's law-breaking meltdown was relatively minor and/or expected.

Cue Happy Days Are Here Again.

  6. Didn't Jim switch his affiliation to a rouge Independent(I), in order to be a write in candidate?

People with political aspirations don't want to be Publicly associated with a convicted contemptous woman abuser.

  7. Gregory actually has withdrawn from the Democratic party and spoke out against it. He has been kicked out of the LV Labor Council. He has attacked Democrats John Stoffa, John Morganelli, John Callahan, Ron Heckman and others. He supports republican John Brown for Exec. He is running against democrat Bob Donchez. So I see no reason why Dems should condemn someone who has already renounced them and is working against them. Had he remained a Dem and had his attacks been focused on Republicans, I would agree with you. He is a past operative for the Dems, no question there. But his actions are pretty much against the Democrats.

  8. He stated he is working for the John Brown and Peg Ferraro campaigns. he has also offered to help Seth Vaughn.

  9. He would have turned on them eventually, and they know that. Regardless what he may have said, he was working for no one but himself. They kept away from him.

  10. Yo Bernie, now that Gregory is in the slammer Mezza is back on the market. You could reconnect with her.

She could be your new boo!

  11. The latest post on WEFP declares that JG was "unjustly tossed in" jail to prevent jim from being in the Mayor race.

    Yeah, that's it.

  12. John Brown just lost a bunch of votes. He's now below the 30% level. Still waiting for him to do some campaigning. I don't know ANYTHING he stands for.

Is Brown's campaign for real? Does he exist? Is JohnBrown a fake name, like Clinton Oxford? Only the Shadow knows. And Harvey lol. LOL, lol

  13. Bernie @8:59.....this will be very interesting to find out the story behind.

  14. Jim is a lifelong union-strong, uber-Democrat with a strong pedigree. You see, Jim's was an idiot his entire life; long before his recent half-gainer off the deep end.

  15. I read the article on West Easton Footprints which seems to blame his jail term on the fact he was running for mayor. It also mentions his ex which makes me wonder if the harassment is going to continue. Unbelievable. But then again; should we be surprised by anything.

  16. The sentence is a little longer than I expected. So, how does this all work for Gregory?

Can he be on his best behavior and get out after 2-3 months? Can he schedule time in a mental health facility and be transferred there, instead of prison?

Still, a sad situation all around. I blame some of this on reality television where abhorrent behavior becomes entertainment and leads to stardom.

  17. I believe Judge Zito will let Gregory out after a psychiatric evaluation and some treatment. He hinted at that on Friday.

  19. Gregory will get out after 60 days IF he cooperates in prosecuting Mezzacappa.

  20. "Cooperates in prosecuting Mezzacappa"

Did you not get the memo that TM has Gregory's ruby red Camaro in front of her Ridge St house? No one come close to being on Earl's good side since the ugliness that occurred two years ago, guess who has? The friendship between these two is deep and for the haters out there trying to drive a wedge between them shame on you, get a life get a job and stop blogstalking WEFP.
Jim's unjust incarceration will result in a big settlement, and people will lose their jobs. PERFECT!

  21. Tricia Mezzacappa,

When Gregory needed help for an obvious mental infirmity, you just made him sicker. You belong in there, too, and that's only a matter of time. You are already on thin ice with Judge Yetter, and that ice is beginning to crack. At the very least, you harassed his ex and will likely be charged again. In addition, officials are getting weary of your constant false statements. Then there's your insistence on driving with a gun despite having no LTCF.

Once Gregory starts getting the help he needs, he will want to keep you as far away from him as possible. When one of his few remaining friends comes by for his car at his direction, it should be remembered that you were claiming today that it is in excellent condition.

  22. Trisha,

Never met you, can only judge you by what I read. My advice . . .

    FADE AWAY !

Seriously, you are approaching incarceration yourself. Embrace what you have and move UP from there. Don't throw it away just to have the last word.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Tricia,

I say the same. I don't know you and never met you.

You really should count your blessings and fade away. It's just not worth it.

  24. Anyone suspect O'Hare's sudden fascination with Gregory ties into his recent attempt to attach onto the Callahan campaign? TM I think it's time you release the emails.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Folks, Giving common sense advice to Tricia Mezzacappa is futile. She lives in an alternate universe where she is always right and her many perceived enemies are always evil and corrupt. I doubt she will fade away. She will get worse and worse until she ends up in a jail cell like her abusive friend Jim Gregory. The fact that she is now openly carrying a gun will hasten her demise.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Foo foo, aka Blog Mentor,

My recent fascination with Gregory is a direct result of his own bizarre behavior, which has culminated with him in jail for 6 months. Instead of condemning this wife beater, the Blog Mentor condones it so long as the wife beater in question hates me. What a sick pup.

As for the supposed damaging emails, you're about 6 months late. Those emails have been supplied to everyone. I have them. The ET has them. The MC has them. Nobody does anything with TM's skanky emails bc the only real news revealed by them is that Mezzacappa was willing to make public her private emails to a third party. They reveal her as a scum bucket with no personal integrity. Kinda' like you. With you giving her advice, her trip to 666 Ferry Street should be accelerated.

Now go back to rolling on the floor, foaming at the mouth.

  27. Can Gregory have visitors?

By the way WEF is as hateful as ever.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't recall exactly how it works. I know he can't have regular visitors at first. But once he is in the system, I believe he can have visits from people he designates.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It is very possible Gregory could be released on probation within a few weeks. That is of course dependent on Gregory. He will get a psychological. Will he try and bullshit the psychologist? He is tree steps ahead of everyone and thinks himself the smartest guy in the room.. At this time I do not believe he has honestly accepted any responsibility for his actions.

Unless there is true remorse and an acceptance of his own emotional problems, he will continue to sit in prison, as he should for the protection of his victims.

His early release is up to him. We shall see. However, at this time I am skeptical. The judge did the right thing.
