He's currently in a bit of hot water for an apparent assault on his girlfriend. But I'm told this suspension is for totally unrelated conduct.

It is disturbing that what should be a confidential personnel matter is leaked in this manner. If true, it is certain that Gregory himself would be the first to arrogantly mock the suspension and dare the county to fire him. But that would be his choice as the affected employee.
