ET to Host LV Bloggers' Night

Tonight, at 6:30 PM, The Express Times will host a LV Bloggers' Night tonight at the artsy-fartsy ArtsQuest Center. I'm unsure whether there will be an online chat, or whether this is just a social get together. But I'll be there.

Will it be to speak to blogger Michael Donovan, Noel Jones or ET Editor Joe Owens? Nah. Will I be there to speak to the two reporters who now cover Allentown? Nope.

I'll be there to get a $2 discount for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which will be featured as soon as the shindig is over. I'll give you a review, both of the movie and the new ArtsQuest Center, on Tuesday.

    Question

Did you change the background for your blogsite?

    I liked the parchment better.

  2. I did. The new background has some features that did not previously exist. Over the weekend, I rec'd a few emails that were positive. I like the parchment look a little better, too, but think this will be better.

  3. If someone just shows up, do they charge of the movie?

    Don't understand your question.

  6. LV Bloggers' Night?

Who is sponsoring this event --- the former Lehigh Valley "Independent" Blog?

I was not invited and I am just so shocked, not to mention, devastated.

Can you please get the Fake Reverend to pray for me, if it is not too much trouble?

    :)

  7. If you read the article, you'll see a specific call for bloggers. You were invited.

  8. Oh, okay.

    Cool.

I hereby suspend my request for the Fake Reverend's assistance indefinitely, much like the Presidential campaigns of Bachman and Huntsman have been recently.

    :)

  9. The fake reverend will give a fake benediction and all will pretend that Artsquest hasn't been a big drain on taxpayers for the benefit of the few. Should be a blast. Heard the movie is great.

Exactly how much cash is at stake with respect to this most unique wager and which side did YOU bet on?

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
