Did Walt Garvin Rant at Lehigh County Dems?

This comment was posted anonymously on my blog over the weekend: "On a different subject Bernie...ask some folks that attended the PA Dems State Comm meeting this weekend about Walt Garvin's drunken rant at the LCDC's party. Good stuff."

Walt Garvin, as most of you know, is Northampton County's Dem boss, and appears to be following in the autocratic style of his predecessor, Joe Long. Bar Johnston is the Acting Chair of Lehigh County Democrats because Rich Daugherty stepped down to run for Congress.

I'll be making some calls today. Anybody know anything?

  1. Let us just say that the Long Dem legacy of temper over logic and ego over knowledge is alive and well in Northmapton County.

  12. Was the rant about how Walt respects gays and the privacy of law abiding individuals?

I'm thinking it was probably a tutorial on how to look like a slick used car salesman.

  14. Tony your name was on the ballot and you posted online. No privacy violation. Only your own poor judgement.

  15. Tony's wrong. I hear Wally really likes gays; especially after a few toddies. Can't wait to hear his drooling pearls.

  16. To 4:25,

And yet you posted anonymously; is it because you expect privacy the way Tony did?

no, more likely anon 425 wasn't brain-dead enough to decide to run for public office while having pictures of his johnson on the internet.

  19. You never know. If his johnson was his best feature it may have got him a few votes. I will always support a fine johnson, as does Bernie.
