I'd much rather be writing about some micromanaging by Northampton County Council last week, but it's time to address this charge publicly. It has been made on almost every blog I publish here, and has also appeared on several local blogs over the past few weeks. It's the handiwork of Pawlowski puffers Bill and Angie Villa. They know their accusations are completely false, but make them anyway. They subscribe to the Goebbels mantra that "when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it."
I allow anonymous comments, and as the blog has grown, several people have adopted names that set them apart. That's fine with me. The best feature of this blog are the people who contribute and add insights I could never have on my own. While I'm at it, I might as well tell you I never comment here anonymously or under any pseudonyms. I have too much respect for the people who do read and comment here to lie to them.
As you might have imagined, the Villas' false claims have bothered the very real people who write using the names I mention above. Every one of them has denied here and at other blogs that they have any connection to me, other than reading and commenting here.
Retired ASD Teacher is, as you might expect, a retired teacher from the Allentown School District. He has remained anonymous on this blog, but I actually met him last year. He's a very nice man who treated me to a steak dinner at Shula's in my one and only trip to the Promenade. During our dinner, he mentioned that he and Angie Villa were actually teachers at the same school. He had nothing but nice things to say about her. I also respect his anonymity.
Like the other falsely accused posters, Retired ASD Teacher is upset at Villas' false claims. He first tried providing room numbers and staff member names at the school where he and Angie Villa once taught, but that was unacceptable to the Villas because my nephew teaches at a middle school somewhere and supposedly leaked the information to me. The Villas continued to claim he's a figment of my imagination until finally, he called and confronted them with the truth over the weekend.
The Villas make no apologies for misleading readers here or at any of the blogs where they had made their false claims. Instead, they have quickly moved on and now claim to have irrefutable proof that I am KathyD, an Upper Macungie mom whose kids sell girl scout cookies. Angie Villa calls it a "smoking gun." Bill Villa adds, "[B]atten down the hatches and don't say we didn't warn you :)."
My "tell tale troll fingerprint" was revealed on Sunday. According to the Villas, KathyD, The Banker and I must all be the same person because we all use the "w/" in our comments.
Alrighty then. Cuckoo!
Villas, let me help you out here. We also ALL use the words "the" and and "a." I'll bet if you spend enough time looking, you might even discover we've ALL used the symbol "&" from time to time.
Pretty damning evidence, huh?
As The Banker notes, "w/" is a common abbreviation for the word "with," used often here in the Internets. KathyD, another of the maligned commenters, has this observation.
"Just read the "smoking gun" evidence over at Villa's "blog."
"Now I'm laughing. The smoking gun, that "proves" we're all the same person, is the shorthand for with. Yes, only Bernie O'Hare uses "w/" to shorthand "with." This is the only piece of evidence they use? And this is what they teased their reader(s) with for days? What a joke. I'm sure it did get them some more traffic, but it has ruined any chance they had for credibility.
"It's odd they would choose to drag someone thru the mud on their blog, RIGHT AFTER posting a very negative post about the joys of optimism and remaining positive.
"Personally, I know nothing I can say will change their mind or their tactics, and I'd like to see their comments number at ZERO permanently for their latest entry on O'Hare.
"In the mean time, I will be giggling all day long at this smoking gun. Geez, if EVERYONE using the w/ shorthand is Bernie, then is ONE BUSY guy. He must have been the one that sent me a random card the other day, not my cousin! Geez, and I thought that last e-mail was from my mom, but she said something with w/, so I guess that was Bernie, too. Wow. Shock and awe, folks.
"They ought to apply to the Allentown PD for a detective position or something. Seriously - it took them all weekend to come up with this???"
Once again, the Villas succeed in humiliating themselves instead of the objects of their scorn. Funny thing. They accuse me of doing what they themselves do with impunity and have admitted doing. I have emails from Villa bragging about his anonymous snarks at other bloggers. What's worse, most of the questions in his Pawlowski interview were from Villa sock puppets.
I do admit I am one ugly mo fo.
i have become a prime target of the villa's because i distill and concentrate their hypocrisy and dishonesty into undeniable portions. angie villa knew full well that retired school teacher was a real person, yet even after he/she provided details that they even worked together, angie denied the truth up till the moment the retired teacher confronted her on the phone. now she says" mea culpa/ooopsie" but the villa's go on to still marginalize The Banker and KathyD as made-up. what is made-up is any facade that the villa's care about local causes, women's rights, or anybody but themselves. simply put, they are narcissists who use everybody and everything for their own agenda. she will write about getting along and sexism, while he challenges people to fist-fights and calls them pusillanimous. they do appear to be a well suited couple.
ReplyDelete"w /"
ReplyDeleteHi, your friendly casual observer/employee of montgomery County here.
ReplyDeleteMight I suggest the best way to combat this kind of behavior is to ignore it?
I think you are playing into their hands. It makes you look just as nuts as they are.
And Mr. M, please don't take this wrong, but I suggest the same to you. They are marginalizing themselves, and your paying attention to them only encourages them. I like your boxing stories, BTW.
If I use "BTW" does that make me a sock puppet, "BTW" ?!
I've had it w/ these cyphers.
ReplyDeleteBTW, life must good for retired teachers who can afford to treat at Shula's! What's w/ that?
ReplyDelete"Might I suggest the best way to combat this kind of behavior is to ignore it?
ReplyDeleteI think you are playing into their hands. It makes you look just as nuts as they are."
You are right. I do my best. I felt I should draw attention to the fact that there is extrinisic evidence proving them completely wrong about one of their baloney claims. The w/ claim is simply cRaZy and simply needs no answer. Villa has intruded with his false claim on nearly every blog I posted over the last two weeks. Additionally, their last 18 posts have deteriorated into attacks directed at other bloggers, including yours truly especially. I thought an answer was in order, especially since they are blatant and knowing lies.
Writing about them does give them the attention they desparately crave and makes me look like an idiot, too. That's why I prefer to do most of this on the troll parade blog.
i have become a prime target of the villa's!!! -Mike Molovinskli
ReplyDeleteMe Tool!!!
And this isn't right, because while MM and I can dish it out, we can't take it!!!
As you all can plainly see, Villa is reduced to baseless personal attacks. He and his wife supposedly condemn sexism, but have no problem in calling me Berniece [sic]. It has been objectively established now that they are liars. Their "w/" argument is so devoid of reason as to make them appear irrational. The Berniece shot establishes that, despite their holy proclamations about equality for women, they are sexists. And if you click on the links to their hate blog, you'll see that these Pawlowski supplicants are mean-spirited.
ReplyDeleteOut of nowhere, they suddenly refer to DA Jim Martin asd "King Shit" and Villa goes on to make vulgar remarks about him.
Nice people.
Let's see. Sexists. Liars. Irrational. Meaan-spirited. Not too nutz now, are they?
Yes, but they must ultimately appeal here for visitors to their lesser site.
ReplyDeleteI suggest deactivating the links if you're inclined to leave their scrawl up.
Actually, I've already deleted about six or seven Villa comments today. I let this last one remain bc it demonstrates so many things about these grant-seeking Pawlowski puffers.
ReplyDelete"Their "w/" argument is so devoid of reason" -Berniece O'Hare
ReplyDeleteIt's "w/ "
Big Difference.
And you know it.
Oopsie.
"BTW" I also use most of the 26 letters of the alphabet when making a comment, but I am allergic to the letter that is between "P" and "R", which is why I never win at scrabble
ReplyDeleteGive it a rest, Villas.
"BTW" I've decide that misspelling Public as "Piblic" will be my specific sign on for now on.
I was going to use "PUBIC", but I think the Villas have that locked up.
from now on, i'm gonna start all my comments with a "w/"
ReplyDeleteOh my God. Here we go again.
ReplyDeleteI am not Bernie! I am not Bernie. Please.
Delusional and paranoid! On top of their fantastic narcissism and outrageous sense of self entitlement.
Detective work? Are your frigging kidding me? Are they really serious?
On top of it all they are very immature. Now ain't that profound.
PN, I agree w/ you completely.
ReplyDeleteMr. Villa,
ReplyDeleteCan you please explain to me (in small words) how you are being provoked? Because I think that I am missing something. ~~Alex
Willa:
ReplyDeleteReally, grow up. You have become pathetic.
With all the hate you have for humanity it is a chore to maintain any feelings of grace toward you.
A lot of people have reached out to you since your daughter died.
Doesn't it bother you to have shi* on so many of them?
Do you even care or has your hate blinded you that much?
Bernie - Your blog continues to roll along to far more important issues than the Villas, so keep up the good work. I have no interest in proving my existance to anyone. I know who I am, and that's good enough for me.
ReplyDeleteI just want to know one more thing: are the Villas applying for federal, state or local grants? (This was alleged in a couple of past posts.) I have no problem sending a signed letter (with my full last name) to whomever might be tempted to give these nut-jobs a package of MY tax money.
In the mean time, I'll still keep commenting, but I'm going to try and ignore the Villas. I am fascinated by their obvious mental breakdown, but I can't help 'em, and they won't post anything I send them, anyways. I wish them luck, but I'll be skipping their blog.
Peace be w/ ya'll! (hee hee)
KathyD,
ReplyDeleteYou have every right to remain anonymous and have no obligation to out yourself to prove anything to anyone. The Villas are totally out of their minds, and their "w/" post makes clear.
With respect to your question, the Villas are the founding members of the Chen Arts group. I attended their inaugural meeting. The artists who were there spent most of their time speaking about how to get grants from A-town.
Joe Skrapits, who actually is funded by A-town for some kind of arts commission or something, must have spoken 30 minutes, saying nothing. He had some kind of handout. At the time, Mrs. Dottie sent me an email claiming "I'm sure they worked very hard at writing it, at several wine and cheese grant funded meetings."
Funny how times change. Now Joyce Marin, who is A-town's DCED Director, has decided she likes the Chen Arts group. The Butz building, which initially refused to allow Chen Arts to conduct an arts show at their facilities, suddenly agreed. Over at the Chen Arts blog, now Skrapits is talking about "Chen Arts having access to an arts space. 810 Hamilton is next to the Brew Works and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor are available. As an arts commissioner, Joe is working with the owner and the city for permits and to put together a lease. There is apparently the possibility of grant money also."
Now the Villas are whistling a different tune than they were at that inaugural meeting.
bill villa just wrote a long comment at his blog about the trial involving the death of his daughter. he ends the comment with the following:
ReplyDelete"Hidden-Agenda bloggers like Bernie O'Hare and Mike Molovinsky think nothing of trumping up "stories" like "Pay To Play Pawlowski," w/ nothing hard to go on except the axe they are grinding. And they then get highly indignant if anyone challenges them.
But when I put forth my first-hand, and very reasonable concerns about DA Jim Martin, and The Morning Call, they put up a blog, The Troll Parade, to defend Martin & Kranzley ... and The Morning Call selects/honors/rewards them w/ inclusion as "Blogger Tuesday at The Morning Call" bloggers.
What's wrong w/ this picture?"
bill, what's wrong with this picture is that i was in no way even involved with the troll blog.
bernie o'hare started the troll blog because you were highjacking his blog with endless comments, it's absurd to say his intention was to defend martin and kranzley
it's absurd to say the morning call rewards certain bloggers for actions against you.
what's most wrong with this picture is somehow you weave a connection between me and the tragic death of your daughter.
"Hidden-Agenda bloggers like Bernie O'Hare and Mike Molovinsky think nothing of trumping up "stories" like "Pay To Play Pawlowski," w/ nothing hard to go on except the axe they are grinding."...
ReplyDeleteYeah but, the "w/ " argument is laced with hard, cold facts!
Hate the sin! Not the sinner. In this case, the fruit of the sinner.
Peace be with you, ~~Alex
I thought Gladys Kravitz was in Canada today (?)
ReplyDeleteIn addition to his mistake about Retired ASD and his insane rants about "w/", Villa is now claiming somethibng is fishy because a Topix comment from MM appears to have come from Canada.
ReplyDeleteIdiot that he is, Villa has not caught on to the reality that the ISP decides where the message comes from, even if it is penned here in the LV.
This logically challenged individual is apparently technologically challenged, too.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
ReplyDeleteBTW, this issue should be dealt w/.
Posted from Canada
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
ReplyDeleteJoe, agree w/ you totally on this here ...
readers at villaville can find bill saying i try to post anonymously on his site, and my topix comments today from canada prove it. actually i didn't even realize my comments were addressed from canada until i read villa bloombergs comment from nyc. so bill here's the scoop; occasionally i find and borrow a wireless signal from some neighbor, which is much faster than my dialup. i commented on topix today using that signal and my name. i have never commented anonymously, nor would i send a comment to your blog.
ReplyDeleteMike,
ReplyDeleteI used to post comments at the Morning Call.
It seems to generate "random" geographical locations. Or some other anomaly creates the issue.
I know people who live in Allentown who have posted comments on MCall articles and they are shown to be in a variety of locations.
Not sure why this happens, but it does.
Bernie, maybe you could check with your buddies at the MCall?
Joe,
ReplyDeleteThis is nothing unusual and has been explained many times before. Your message goes from your ISP to the Topix ISP, and from there it is posted. As you might imagine, there are many geographic locations. Thus someone from the LV can show up as being from Seoul, South Korea.
If I post a comment from my AOL server, that is the only ID you will see. If I post from Verizon in Easton, I can show up as being in Philly. It depends on the ISP more than the actual location.
Villa is just plain nutz and has spent the past few days making that abundantly clear.
i always knew o'hare posted anonymously (duh) but molovinsky is somewhat of a surprise
ReplyDeleteGee Bernie, you seem to forget that waaaaaaaay back in 2005, whe you first started this blog thing, you admitted at County Council to me that you posted anonymous comments on your blog to get people to start discussing issues.
ReplyDeleteDid you forget all about that?
Sounds like selective memory disease to me. I remember it very clearly.
"NEVER" is such a strong word. Are you willing to swear in court that you have "NEVER" posted anonymously?
Be very careful Bernie, how you answer, you never know who might be asked to testify in court.
Cuckoo.
ReplyDeleteOopsie.
ReplyDeleteVilla, your claims about Retired ASD, the "w/" expose and your "anonymous" claim about Molovinsky and attempt to paint him with childish remarks that you obviously made, just dmonstrate that you are totally out of your mind.
ReplyDeleteGo apply for a grant somewhere and let the grown ups talk.
Cuckoo.
ReplyDeleteVilla, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so thanks. But to make it complete, you need to start signing your name. Until then, it is a pale imitation, like most everything you do.
ReplyDeleteCuckoo.
ReplyDelete"i have never commented anonymously, nor would i send a comment to your blog." -Mike "3%" Molovinsky
ReplyDeleteBut you do steal wireless internet service from your neighbor.
"occasionally i find and borrow a wireless signal from some neighbor, which is much faster than my dialup." -Mike "3%" Molovinsky
Your a thief Mike. And a liar like O'Hare.
Cuckoo
ReplyDeleteI give you credit O'hare, usually you remove any comment that hits a nerve. Now you are replying "Cuckoo" to it.
ReplyDeleteIf G were your middle initial, I'd say it stood for Goebbels, but it is V, so it must stand for vermin
I like how you sidestep any comment that calls out your duplicity. I heard you say during the Dent Dertinger race in 2006 that you thought commenting anonymously was fine if it got the conversation going on the thread.
Yes, that was at a Nazareth borough Council meeting, but you were bragging, and I couldn't help over hear it. I bet Ross would back it up as well.
You're treading into dangerous water Bernie. Your web of lies is beginning to ensnare you.
When you point a finger, remember, three more point back at you.
ReplyDeleteShow me who your friends are. And I'll tell you, who you are.
Birds of a feather, flock together.
Dodo or cuckoo?
Peace be with you, ~~Alex
Bern,
ReplyDeleteIs your frig running?
~~Al
Father Alex,
ReplyDeleteI'll answer the allegation.
"I heard you say during the Dent Dertinger race in 2006 that you thought commenting anonymously was fine if it got the conversation going on the thread."
A few days ago, I supposedly made this statement at a county council meeting. Now it is at a Nazareth Borough Council meeting. Which is it?
The difference I have with Ross (NewsOverCoffee, an excellent blog) is that I believe in the option that allows anonymous comments. He does not. If anything was overheard, it may have been a discussion about our different persepectives, although Ross did allow anonymous conversations at that time we were both attending Nazareth borough council meetings. I think this whole thing is made up.
Permitting anonymous comments enables people who would otherwise be silent to speak out. It also allows anonymous trolls like Villa and Anon 11:57 to use it as a shield behind which you launch personal attacks. That's why Ross stopped it on his blog.
Anonymous comments do help start a conversation, but I do not believe I can be anonymous. That would be dishonest. I do not post or comment anonymously and never made such a claim.
The accusation is just more craziness.
""Retired ASD Teacher is, as you might expect, a retired teacher from the Allentown School District. He has remained anonymous on this blog, but I actually met him last year. He's a very nice man who treated me to a steak dinner at Shula's in my one and only trip"" Pay to play? :):)
ReplyDeleteRetired ASD teacher here.
ReplyDeletePay to play?
Good Heavens. Between my professional wife and I, and our investment knowledge, we are quite comfortable. A dinner at Shula's is not a scary proposition for us.
I have enjoyed this blog, was curious about it's creator, and initiated the dinner in question.
I had a nice time. I felt Bernie deserved the gesture.
Bern,
ReplyDeleteI thought you were going to answer my question.
Is your refrigerator running?
~~Al
As a matter of fact, it's broken, but I have a portable.
ReplyDelete"I had a nice time. I felt Bernie deserved the gesture."
ReplyDeleteMe, too. It's without question the best steak I ever ate.
Yeah, those don't run very fast...
ReplyDeleteMy portable is the see-food diet, but only after Lent.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn you made those anon comments at both, Mr. Cockoo'hare.
ReplyDeleteI'm not Bill Villa, but I am your neighbor, and I have been paying attention.
You make whatever claim suits your purpose at the moment to further your argument.
You are disingenuous, and you are deceitful. How much does those who employ you donate to Charlie Dent?
Or does their continued subsidizing of you as an employee in a down market constitute allowing you to participate in other activities?
Why don't you explain that one?
Can't wait to see your 3,000 word rebuttal, and claims of being a victim. I love reading your point by point soliliquoy's of victimhood.
You sure you aren't Shakespeare reincarnate?
Can't wait for your next big breaking story on the Villas.
ReplyDeleteThis Just in:
Bill Villa shot John Lennon, and he framed Mark David Chapman!
Bernie has proof! He will keep repeating it everyday, that will make it true!
Cuckoo.
ReplyDeleteLike your new picture Bernie. Has anorexic Angie complained yet?
ReplyDeleteWe all know how sympathetic you are to people afflicted with illness.
Cuckoo.
ReplyDelete
