Our Double Standard For Women in Politics

I doubt anyone would blink an eye at news that any male politician attended a party and had a good time. But Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin, an attractive young lady, was vilified for an evening of drinking and dancing with friends. Critics hypocritically claim she's entitled to have a good time, but she exhibited poor judgment.  If that's so, then so does nearly every male in elected office.

I see no reason why women in politics should be held to a higher standard than men . Much as I dislike complaints about the patriarch, what happened to Marin is blatant sexism.

  1. This just shows the hypocrisy of society. Men do get away with so much. Look at Clinton, Trump, Gaetz, Epstein, and so many other politicians we have today. Most of them should be castrated and be permanently removed from contact with society. But instead they were put on pedestals and encouraged and elevated.

Where as women in similar positions would be destroyed.

Although women like the Kardashians could be used to counter the conversation. They elevated themselves on all the same bad habits the men did. And they are idolized for it as well.

  3. Certainly agree. Yet, you still found it necessary to note she's attractive. I've never heard you refer to a male politician in those terms. Lol. In the interest of full disclosure, I'd hit that in a second. I also identify as boorish and politically incorrect. My pronouns are f and you.

  4. The Patriarchy’s done everything it can to suppress strong women like Tara Z who if allowed would R.O.A.R into a proverbial bullhorn while verbally castrating those oppressors who greedily hold onto power with the goal of controlling female bodies.

Bernie is in touch with his feminine side alright he has been spotted changing out of pantyhose in the NorCo courthouse men’s room we know he is down for the cause.
