"Would You Be Doing Business With Germany During WWII?"
That was a question that conservative WAEB radio host Bobby Gunther Walsh posed to Steve "1 of 20" Lynch during his radio show yesterday morning. Real patriots, unlike those who prance around at flag rallies with designer camoflauge and AR-15s, understand that doing business with the enemy is unAmerican. GOP Congressional candidate Lisa Scheller is the 100% owner of Silberline Manufacturing. And guess what? She's doing business with China, our biggest enemy. She does more than trade with this human rights abuser. Her company actually operates two manufacturing facilities there, with a third one on the way. This is why no one who actually cares about this country should elect her to Congress. It's fair to say that she'll be representing President Xi Jinping, but not the American people.
This was the knock against her during the primary, but she ran a very carefully choreographed campaign with very limited public exposure. Her money won the day against a noble effort by Kevin Dellicker to warn everyone that the Lehigh Valley had its very own Manchurian candidate.
On election night, Scheller had a watch party, which is the norm. But unlike anyone I can remember (except for Doug Mastriano), her event was private. The press was denied access. Gunther, on his radio show, told his listeners about this, and mentioned that "chucklehead" Steve Lynch actually pulled a reporter away.
Chucklehead was tuned in, and started blowin' oil right after Gunther made his remark. He pulled over immediately and began ranting at Facebook. He called Gunther as liar several times and then did one of his Facebook Lives. He stopped short of calling Gunther a demon or subhuman, as he did with me about a week or so ago. There was no challenge to a duel, as there was with me. But he was really pissed because, as he insisted, he was not even there.
Lynch quickly changed his tune when Gunther agreed to bring Chucklehead on his show yesterday to clear the air. Lynch deleted his ugly rant and tried to pretend he was going to be mature.
Now I have no knowledge whether Lynch actually pulled anyone away, but I do know this. He was there. He said so himself during one of his several thousand Facebook Lives he cuts daily while driving,
I expected to hear Lynch address the actual accusation when he was on the air. He never did. He instead embarked on a feeble defense of Scheller's business ties to China.
He pointed out that her company is 100% American owned. No shit. She owns it. And as Gunther pointed out, so what? That is what the radio host called "semantics." It fails to address the fact that this Scheller-owned company has some fairly deep roots in the soil of our largest adversary.
Lynch claims he was unable to get a word in edgewise because of Gunther's constant interruptions. That's untrue. On several occasions, Gunther actually asked him to make his case.
"Have at it!" Gunther started. "Go ahead," he said later. Gunther asked what he had wrong. Lynch then went on to discuss a previous interview, failing to address the reason for his appearance.
"If she's running, she's going to be a Congress person for us," asked Gunther. "How is she not conflicted?"
"China is our number one enemy. They are eating our lunch economically and they're using that against us militarily."
The Daily Beast has noted an alarming trend of former U.S officials who are lobbying for China, both Democratic and Republican. But if elected, Scheller will be a member of Congress who owns a company with as many as three manufacturing sites in our biggest adversary. This country has learned how to welcome companies willing to play by its rules, while slamming the door shut on businesses that ask too many questions about the 80,000 Uyghurs who have been relocated and forced to work at many foreign factories.
Lynch had numerous opportunities to explain why Scheller's business ties to China is not a conflict, he completely failed.
In the end Lynch proved two things. First, Scheller in Congress is a conflict of interest. Second, Lynch really is a chucklehead.
Buy America is becoming an impossible idea. If you think you are going to only buy American made products you are delusional because many types of products are no longer made here.
ReplyDeleteAlso many American manufactured products are using components and materials made in China, this is a fact, that includes your autos, all electronics, appliances tires etc.
As for manufacturing products in China this is a result of the difficulties experienced by manufacturing in the USA. You have a bureaucracy at the local, state and federal level that views your business as a cash cow. They can change the rules in an instant and tie you up in litigation for years.
Manufacturing in China is easy, you know your cost and it arrives usually promptly, no zoning, EPA, Union activists, no social activist extortion, less lawsuits and other mine fields of doing business in the USA. Not to mention taxes and permits that many don't even know exist.
To return business to the USA will require a cooperative effort to make doing business much more friendly, at present it is just too chaotic and incalculable.
Many want to label these moves as unpatriotic, but it is just the reality of this present world.
Gunther is angry because Scheller tried to manage him re: appearances on his show. Now, he's campaigning for a radical pro-abortion Democrat as he receives Holy Eucharist at St. Thomas More Church. When the going gets weird, the weird go pro. I don't believe Lynch is running for anything - but I may have missed something
ReplyDeleteUltimately, this is a contest between the current path with Wild/Pelosi/Schumer/Biden or a different direction that may provide relief from $6 gas, baby formula shortages, denying children education while overreacting to a pandemic with authoritarian madness, WWIII looming, US troops to Sudan, a SCOTUS pick too stupid to define a woman, a senile racist who shits his pants for POTUS, and 27 genders and counting .....
The tribes will clarify and coalesce by November. I'd rather be running as a challenger, than an incumbent who voted for all of this mess in the last two years.
I am sure the folks in Decatur, IN don't appreciate Siberline's plant closure at the same time plants are being expanded in communist China. While we can profess eco friendly here in the states, there is no doubt the environmental and workforce standards in China are subordinate to more responsible countries. Did Tamaqua also experienced layoffs or accepted workforce dollars?
ReplyDeleteLisa proclaims the "Green New Deal is a disaster that would destroy millions of jobs and devastate Pennsylvania families". Yet she posed for photos of solar panels installed at the rooftop Tamaqua facility. Meanwhile, the project that generates 200KW is touted as "Reducing their energy costs with solar helps the Silberline Manufacturing Company reduce operating costs and drive bottom line results". Did Siberline receive a grant or incentives for this? Sounds like doublespeak to me. But hey railing against renewable, green energy is hip with the far right. After all, they reserve the right to exploit the environment.
NO ONE WANTS TO DEAL WITH POLITICAL CONNECTIONS AND TIES OVERSEAS. There have been ties with overseas for years going back to Bill Clinton and before. At one point it was illegal for a political person to have those ties and accept contributions from international entities. But over the years people have turned a blind eye to it. It has only gotten worse and worse to the point of what could be perceived as blatant bribery or paid favors. As recently as the Trumps , Kuschner, Pelosi, Hunter Biden, and now Scheller it is apparent. People complain but no one really ever does anything about it but that. There is too much big money in it for too many people. Law says that any and all of these international connections are supposed to be self identified and described but as we have seen they go unchecked.
ReplyDeleteAlthough it will never happen any politician deriving money, business, or favor from a foreign entity should have to fully disclose it. They should also have to disclose it for their family. In addition it should be required for their businesses and business associates. But again because of the money involved it will never happen.
Our democracy is being subverted by cash.
Bernie, thank your for providing that interview, however, you may not like this comment.
ReplyDeleteGunther was his usual argumentative self, using his bully pulpit to cut off the reply. Gunther's watch, computer and morning coffee pot is made in China. At this point in global economics, a successful company has some supply chain business connection in China, because less successful ones are no longer stay in business.
To me, a bigger problem for Lehigh Valley voter awareness is that political radio is limited to Gunther, and his low brow attack interviews.
Pretty sure Walsh still won't wanna be your buddy even after this big ole sloppy kiss....
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I consider it un-American per se. It is a bit un-Republican though. And it certainly raises eyebrows in terms of conflict of interests for a congressperson. SL is simply incapable of backing up his rhetoric with any sort of logic or facts. He is just a series of catch phrases. Praying for the day he gets pulled over for using his phone while driving.
ReplyDeleteSo let me get this straight:
ReplyDeleteSusan Wild has voted in lockstep with her party to deliver higher gas and energy prices; shortages of basic necessities including baby formula; runaway inflation; upcoming food and diesel shortages; and generally crippled our economy.
And Scheller is the “Manchurian candidate” working against the interests of America?
I suppose that makes perfect sense in the alternate universe that democrats live in.
I have no love for Walsh. I disagree with his politics, do not care for his one-sided interviews and was really off by how he attempted to smear LC DA Jim Martin with defamatory broadcasts. I know what he is and how he operates.
ReplyDeleteI posted the interview,so readers can listen and determine for themselves whether Gunther was cutting Lynch off. My impression is that Gunther gave Lynch multiple opportunities to explain why there's nothing wrong with doing business with China.
5:25AM has the best explanation of all this. It’s like someone saying they only buy American cars. There’s no such thing anymore! Geez, America’s two biggest retailers, Walmart and Amazon, primarily see items made in China. Not to mention, Apple, and other brand, computer components. Slamming this candidate for business connections and development probably won’t be very effective.
ReplyDeleteMM, If we've learned anything in recent months, it's that we should refrain from doing business with our enemies. Now I admit I own things made in China, but I am not a member of Congress and I do not depend on China for my business income. American companies like Nike found out what happens when they do not tow the line. People raised a shit fit about Hunter Biden being on Burisma's board when his father was VP. Scheller actually owns a company with two plants in China while a third is on the way. The second she casts a vote China dislikes, she'll find her businesses are shut down or they become impossible to operate. This is a conflict of interest. She should be running to represent the people in her district, not China.
ReplyDeleteYou don't rely on China for your company. Where is your computer made?? All the parts for it?? Your keyboard?? Your phone, you pen you use to write. Where are the parts for your car you probably write off as a business experience. So you do profit from China
DeleteCan you name any Fortune 500 companies that don’t do business in China? I’m sure there is but it’s a global economy now. Joe Biden and his kid did plenty of business in China lol. Joe Biden has been in Washington for 50 years and he is part of the cabal that voted time and time again for the trade policies that decimated our manufacturing sector.
Delete" America’s two biggest retailers, Walmart and Amazon, primarily see items made in China. Not to mention, Apple, and other brand, computer components. Slamming this candidate for business connections and development probably won’t be very effective."
ReplyDeleteThere's a big difference between owing something that may be made in China and owning a company with two manufacturing plants located there. The former is under no obligation to be on good terms with China, while the latter must maintain good relations. On top of that, China is our greatest adversary and we should think twice or three times before electing a person who has the ties to China that Scheller has.
Real patriots understand this argument. People who drape themselves and adorn trucks with flags made in China do not.
Point taken, but I still can't vote for a babykiller.
DeleteGunther was definitely interruptive. But Chucklehead Steve was evasive and deflected as often as he could. But true to form, he was his usual amped up angry self. Chucklehead's opening line about not wanting to be argumentative and then being argumentative was typical Lynchspeak.
ReplyDeleteSo Bernie maybe clear something up for me. She owns these businesses or does business with these businesses. And buys things from companies over in China. I would find it hard for any company, business, or hell house hold to find something not from China in their possession.
ReplyDeleteChina is not our " enemy " as if we are in a actual war. They are a political advisory, an economic competitor.
Yes they do things, a lot of things to hurt this country and our economy. And we should be at all times trying to better them. But come on there is a lot more there to go after Susan Wild then to just trash a business person.
We have a president right now with more ties to china then most Americans. And a president who is destroying our country more then China could ever dream too.
It was our government, our leaders who put all these regulations on American companies . So companies have to go over seas to make items.
Trust me I wish we could have put someone better than lisa there but she had the cash. And Lynch is an idoit who will probably ruin my party here in Northampton county.
Chucklehead is a real-life case study in hypocrisy:
ReplyDeleteWhen Hunter Biden works deals in China, he's triggered.
When Lisa Scheller owns businesses there... "meh."
When Facebook censors something, he's triggered.
When he needs a new "public figure" profile, he uses Facebook.
When he loses an election, he's triggered.
When he wins, "Yay, nothing to see here. No audit needed."
When you confront him with opposing opinions on his Facebook profile, he's triggered.
When he's wearing his "patriot" hat, he's all about the 1st Amendment.
The list goes on and on...
8:28am: That has become the entire Republican party. When there were protests and riots during summer 2020- triggered. January 6th insurrection- free speech. Biden wins election- voter fraud. Any Republican wins an election- free and fair democracy. The list is endless.
DeleteFor once, Bernie, you are right. Kevin Dellicker’s effort in that race was not only “noble”, it was incredible, as he tried to expose this information about Lisa Scheller. Why didn’t the voters listen? In some cases it was because some “trusted” Republicans in Northampton County convinced some voters that it wasn’t true about Lisa and China and said that Dellicker was just smearing her name. Wrong and wrong again. Maybe Lehigh Valley Lisa won’t run a third time after she loses this election this year. We can only hope or better yet not allow her to get on the ballot ever again.
ReplyDelete@5:25 - " no zoning, EPA, Union activists, no social activist extortion, less lawsuits and other mine fields of doing business in the USA."
ReplyDeleteSo as long as its not in your backyard, you're OK with rampant industrial pollution, sub standard wages (aka poverty - in some instances its bordering on slavery), physical abuse of workers, and then allowing the super wealthy to simply do whatever the hell they want in pursuit of a dollar (yuan)?
You must be super popular at your local church...
@5:51AM "Ultimately, this is a contest between the current path with Wild/Pelosi/Schumer/Biden or a different direction that may provide relief from $6 gas, baby formula shortages, denying children education while overreacting to a pandemic with authoritarian madness, WWIII looming, US troops to Sudan, a SCOTUS pick too stupid to define a woman, a senile racist who shits his pants for POTUS, and 27 genders and counting ....."
ReplyDeleteAll great points and yet, we can all still remember 2 years ago to the corrupt shit circus that was the Trump Administration that we all kicked to the curb... Decisions, decisions...
@5:25 is correct. While many may tout "But American", it can be hard. Especially now with supply chain issues. As a company, we have to buy some product from overseas. Some from China. As we compete in a world market, we have to have our costs as competitive as possible. If my competitor is buying from China and saving 15% over my RM costs, he will get the orders, and I will be out of business.
ReplyDeleteThe downturn in American mfg is real. Until all products are available domestically (which will not happen), mfg's will need to procure product where we can, to keep our American factories running.
In addition, Americans in general like the cheap Chinese product. Just look at Amazon. Consumers do not willingly want to pay increased costs for "Made in USA".
@7:32AM "Susan Wild has voted in lockstep with her party to deliver higher gas and energy prices; shortages of basic necessities including baby formula; runaway inflation; upcoming food and diesel shortages; and generally crippled our economy."
ReplyDeleteExactly what legislation led to higher gas/energy prices? What legislation led to baby formula shortage?
Inflation is due to the BIPARTISAN stimulus checks issued during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC and was correctly predicted by many economists back in 2020 (when who was President?).
Either stop watching FOXNews, or stop commenting on politics when you know so little about how the world economy works.
@7:32 - I don't want to accuse you of being "poorly educated" but there are no votes taking place regarding gas and energy prices (capitalism), baby formula (private industry contamination issue) and upcoming food and diesel shortages (your personal crystal ball or faux noise?). Perfect post of yours to prove the "poorly educated" have to change the channel!
ReplyDeleteLets be honest - it was "Talk Radio". A calm exchange of points and counter points would not "Entertain" the audience. That is the bottom line of all radio and cable news these days - entertain and engage the masses so they stick around for the commercials.
ReplyDeleteWho cares about facts?
Who cares about integrity?
Who cares for reason and rationale?
They're there to deliver hot take sound bites meant to appeal to the lowest common denominator and base instincts and the stooges listening just lap it all up and think they're being "educated" on the given topic.
"You don't rely on China for your company. Where is your computer made?? All the parts for it?? Your keyboard?? Your phone, you pen you use to write. Where are the parts for your car you probably write off as a business experience. So you do profit from China"
ReplyDeleteYou miss the point. There's a big difference between wearing a watch made in China and having two manufacturing plants located there, especially if you are a member of Congress called on to make votes concerning that country.
Scheller has never been the person she presents herself as. She is the default CEO of a silver coatings company and because we all like glittery things on our cars and packaging they are a highly successful, privately held company. The company, while under her direction, has generated at least twice as many jobs in China as it has in the US. (Check Dun & Bradstreet) Claiming "American Owned" doesn't mean much since the company still has to pay support to the Chinese government in order to operate manufacturing in China. She has grown up with every privilege imaginable. As many over privileged young people, she had a drug problem. When she hit bottom she had access to the best treatment possible and was then handed a place in the family business. She is not a political outsider as she falsely claims. She was married to former chair of the GOP of Lehigh County for many years. She and her husband supported Trump financially. Trump endorsed her last run, but these are paid endorsements. That is very much "inside." If we had any local reporters they would be investigating rather than publishing rehashed press-releases. There's more history in China and Israel that we don't hear about in the press releases, and while the coffee house is a noble idea it also generates good press and as a 501c3 it's a great place for tax-deductions. And speaking of taxes... This candidate doesn't represent the people, she represents private interests.
ReplyDelete7:32,
ReplyDeleteInflation is due to the BIPARTISAN stimulus checks issued during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC and was correctly predicted by many economists back in 2020 (when who was President?).
How right you are. It may not have contributed 100%, but anytime that it is cheaper to stay home rather than work is going to create an imbalance.
"China is not our " enemy " as if we are in a actual war. They are a political advisory, an economic competitor."
ReplyDeleteIt's adversary, not advisory, by the way.
Without question, China is the greatest threat to our national security in existence. So far as I know, it is the only country capable of taking out an aircraft carrier.
You may regard China as a mere competitor, but China regards the US as its fundamental enemy. During the cold war, we practiced the principle of containment. We refused to do business with the Soviet Union precisely because doing so made it a stronger enemy. That is precisely what Lisa Scheller is doing in China. Her investment in that country is making it a stronger enemy.
Under Chinese law, Chinese businesses and citizens must provide the Chinese government access to the collection, transmission and storage of data. So all records maintained by Silberline in China are subject to review by the Chinese Communist party. Moreover, Chinese firms and citizens are required to cooperate with its intelligence agencies.
Scheller's investment in China is helping it develop more hypersonic missiles, improve its nuclear arsenal and improve its global spy network.
I love the Chinese. I love Chinese culture. And wuithout question, China is our greatest threat. You seem to think we need to wait until the bombs are falling from the sky. I don't.
Once again Chucklehead SoyBoy proves he has no brain in his head to back up what his roid rage mouth has to say. No wonder Amber hides her face at home most of the time while hubs is out circle jerking with the Scheller clan!
DeleteShocking then that Chucklehead goes on to cry man-tears about how he was bullied on the radio & didnt get the chance to speak when in reality he, as usual, had no real answers. He is no leader & his days are numbered... Dick Lynch please take your son back WE dont want him anymore.
Lynch was out of his league during that phone call. He was not cut off and he refused to answer simple questions.
ReplyDelete8:51 & 9:02 -
ReplyDeleteIs that the new democrat/MSNBC talking point? That there wasn't a direct vote to raise gas prices and cause baby formula shortages? Good luck with that.
It's a combination of democrat priorities that's ruining our economy and stealing from the American public (through inflation). What we're experiencing is the direct result of democrat policies supported by Biden, Schumer, Pelosi and Wild. And Susan Wild's been fine with all of it, and obviously hasn't done anything to make it better. She could care less about anyone here in PA - her democrat masters (her donors) are out-of-state.
People aren't stupid and know exactly who is causing the problem. They can't wait until November - and I live in an area that's mostly democrat (just not the nutty ones who support the extremists that are running the party).
Without question, Bobby “Gunther” Walsh is the greatest threat to our national security in the Lehigh Valley. He needs to go away, his politics are Ultra Conservative and does nothing for helping the wide majority of people and their needs. He is divisive and full of shit, nothing more then a Trump ass kisser. We need people to work together to help solve real American problems and to date I really do not see any candidates on the Republican ticket who will help the working public.
ReplyDeleteThe situation was created by politicians in both parties in the 1990's. move work to China and put Americans on dependency programs. It is a fact, there are many products you can not have made in America and same goes for basic ingredients. If you want to survive in business you may have no alternative but to buy from China.
ReplyDeleteOf course, we now see the talking points of the Wild campaign, you've heard it first here, from Bernie.
i am sorry but there are many more serious problems in this election.
Attacks at Biden have noting to do with Scheller's manufacturing operations in China. I decline to post any more of them or the usual deflections from the topic.
ReplyDelete" If you want to survive in business you may have no alternative but to buy from China."
ReplyDeleteFor the third time, this is not about someone buying items made in China. This is about someone who actually has two manufacturing plants there, with a third on the way. She is conflicted.
He survived the primary. What office is Lynch running for in November?
ReplyDeleteShe will still the lesser of the 2 evils in November.
ReplyDeleteIt's not that hard to buy American made goods. You may have to take a few minutes to find the product but it can be done. Think "google it".
ReplyDeleteExpect to pay more but I'm sure good patriots can put their money where their mouth is.

Are you insane? You would rather have a trump supporting idiot than ANY D right
Great way to ruin your country
On FB, Stevie's daddy, Dickie, admitted his son is an asshole.
ReplyDelete8:43a It’s time you get off the blame Trump train. And please enlighten me as to what good has Biden done for this country?? His approval rating is the lowest in history. He’s a disastrous Commander in Chief
ReplyDelete@9:51 it is funny that you call others stupid as it is apparent you only educated by the narrow minded few who would rather enslave you through dictatorships then anything else. Are you lynch without the Facebook or are you just someone one who is a parrot of the pathetic? When you don't have an original thought in your brain you have to bring up the typical republican cry baby routine and blame the news.
ReplyDeleteWhen you want to blame someone look in the mirror paint a bullseye on your forehead and take aim.
Unless you have any specific facts and show when, when and who was involved in the vote to raise gas prices and take away baby formula. Let's see the facts adn not the truth spew you so whole heartily seem to be simmering in.
The Scheller situation is just a microcosm of the bigger problems in politics. Thinks about favored nation status given to China, and all the incentives like free trade zones and tariffs abatements are given to big business for doing work overseas and more especially in China. This has been a set up and Sheller is just another one that has fallen into the trap. It does not justify it but it is a reason.
ReplyDeleteUntil the rules of the game get changed by changing the laws she is playing in a puddle acceptable to even those who say they do not approve.
1:38,
ReplyDeleteYou folks are so quick to fry Susan Wild for all the same reasons you fried Charlie Dent. They both respect people and worked across the aisle to get things accomplished. Scheller is all about Scheller, ask the Silberline employees. There aren't many around here anymore, since their jobs went to Chinese workers.
While you're quoting Walsh, please be sure to mention his calling Susan Wild, stupid, uninformed, evil, demonic, and a puppet for Nancy Pelosi and those who wish to destroy the country.
ReplyDeleteBubby may not like the unlikeable Scheller. But he despises Wild and thinks she represents every bad thing that is wrong with the country.
Be fair about Walsh. In the words of Paul Harvey, tell the "rest of the story."
I want to change subject here, Children killed in shooting in Texas again. I preserve that their security was bullshit, like here in are area . The school district should hire only former Army and Marine Infantry to rotate though in detail. We have old cops and buddies o getting hired that can’t shoot their way out of a wet paper bag . This is applicable to EASD and Nazareth. Guards should come from intermediate pass troughs that were not settled after deployments. Yet . They would be up on their feet in safety.
ReplyDeleteI love how Steve Lynch deflects the entire point that Lisa has a conflict of interest as a US Congresswomen just because she has done good things else where. It’s the MO of the Republican Party. They do not care how bad of a person someone is or what horrible things they did. In fact, the more horrible you are, the more the party loves and supports you.
ReplyDeleteSchool districts just can’t hire their buddies anymore , they need to look to former Army and Marine Infantry transitioning out as hires . They know stuff , they have been down range in battlefields , Selection processes should be around combatants not friends at this point .
ReplyDeleteI declined to posy a comment accusing me of being anti-Chinese. I happen to love Chinese culture and people and can even speak a few Mandarin phrases. I consider Romance of the Three Kingdoms perhaps the greatest story ever told, which is amazing bc it is partially historic. Having said that, no member of Congress should own and operate a business inside the borders of an enemy. China is an enemy. Scheller is obviously conflicted.
ReplyDeleteIt's pose. Not posy.
DeleteI going to add that this tragedy is is probably domestically oriented in Grade school . Threat analogy would be different in a high school.
ReplyDeleteSince others went off topic to discuss the school shooting, allow me to offer a differing perspective. As a teacher, I have absolutely no way of knowing if a child in my class has a weapon. Kids carry backpacks and wear oversized hoodies, both of which can conceal myriad items. We are generally secure, the the occasional door is left ajar by a careless individual. While I abhor the gun culture in America, I believe it is beyond time we start talking about the taboo topic — families. Too many children are being raised by phones and social media. It is cool to see their heroes waving guns and so many want to emulate the thug culture. We tiptoe around the real issue because it is politically incorrect. Well, burying small children certainly isn’t politically correct.
ReplyDeleteNever have truer words been spoken.
Delete6:01,
ReplyDeleteI propose all teachers carry guns and if they stop an active shooter then they receive a $20K bonus. If for some reason they miss the unstable insane male, they would not be held responsible for the damage done. Someone might be hurt, shot dead but that’s okay this is America. Land of the free, freedom to carry guns around and kill everything in sight. We’re back to the 1800 congratulations.
After tonight's tragedy in Texas, I cannot help but reflect on the GOP candidates "in your face" gun commercials in the LV races and across the Country. I would like to hear how McCormick's "Anne Oakley" feels about universal background checks and commonsense red flag laws? Books, history learning or "jabs" (vaccines) are not a threat to our public safety. Irresponsible, mentally ill, and unstable individuals and groups readily gaining access to guns are.
ReplyDeleteTime to stand with students and families and not gun lobbyists. Our children are Precious and Priceless and should not be considered collateral damage.
Given the Texas law, can private individual sue enablers of gun crimes?
Guber Walsh and Lynch are just the same side of th same coin. Coocoo!
ReplyDeleteHey @ 8:51, love you guys who call people stupid and can't even get your facts straight. The American Rescue plan was passed without one republican vote! It pumped 2 trillion dollars into an already reopening and recovering economy. Apparently Fox news watchers are more informed than you maybe you should start watching LOL calling people stupid when your facts are wrong is a bad look!
ReplyDelete@8:51. FOX news watchers are yes more informed and filled with the spew. Many of them on the station are notion more fakers to generate ratings. They will be known as the failures of society as we move into the future unless of course our democracy is destroyed as they are so hoping for. then they will be hero's for a short time. At least until the gulag gangs start hunting people who do not precisely toe the line.
ReplyDelete@7:54 Please show me in the American Rescue Plan where it specifically calls out for the increase of gas prices and the restriction of baby formula. I must have missed it when I tried to scan the document. It is probably buried in all the other pork barrel crap from both sides.
ReplyDelete8:17, 8:51 blamed BIPARTISAN IN CAPS stimulus legislation on inflation of ALL of our goods and services. He/she was mistaken as the American Rescue Plan was pushed through without one republican vote. 1.9 trillion dollars in spending. I didn't post anything specific to just baby formula or gas prices. Inflation has hit every area of the economy simply because there is too much money chasing too few goods.
ReplyDeleteWe have high crime, mass shootings, massive inflation, high gas prices, a president making threats to both China and Russia, a disaster of a pullout from Afghanistan. and a wide open southern border. 4 people were murdered yesterday in Philly, 8 others shot. On a Wednesday no less. This is Joe Bidens America. He's the president and he himself has stated the buck stops with him. His party controls the entire federal government, yet they blame everyone and everything for all the problems we are facing.
As far as Fox news, I just used that because Mr. Misinformed called Fox viewers stupid while posting misinformation. All cable news is junk!
@5:07 The same crap was there under the precious orange hero and it was there before him and before that one too. Your failure to understand the incompetence across so many shows you level of understanding and your intent to blame. It is the mantra of those that have no ability to do anything but whine and cry.
ReplyDeleteSo if you have it in you prove you have a mentality beyond FOX and give one coherent thought to fix any of the issues instead of just blaming. Even if it is just within you on small minded world.
@5:07. The Republicans may not have voted for it but they are taking all the money and give aways from it. Perhaps the law should be changed that if you vote no to something you, your state and more importantly your constituents get nothing from it. IT is kind of like all the politicians who blame others fro being connected with overseas however they take money from them as well.
ReplyDeleteJust came across this feed and have to agree with many of the comments about Scheller. So unfortunate that she won mainly because of her money and not her qualifications. Dellicker would have been the best opponent to stand up to Wild, in fact Wild was overjoyed that it wasn’t he who won. Why don’t people Listen to facts before casting their votes? It just shows apathy and ignorance. And YES, she should never be on another Ballot again! She will be an embarrassment. If the LCRC a would have given Dellicker equal exposure and appropriations the voters would have opened their eyes wide, and the LVTP needs to stop threatening people who endorse and support alternative candidates to whom they are endorsing. Dellicker won in Lehigh County and his volunteers were harassed in Northampton county on Election Day.
