You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Hanover TWP is a 10 out of 10 with regards to proactively and with total transparency, keeping it's residents safe and informed!
ReplyDeleteHow would you rate your township, boro, city?
Are the green phase "new normal" requirements lawful and/or enforceable? I don't recall the legislature passing these "new normal" laws and seeking the governor's signature. At what point does the executive branch's emergency dictatorial power end? While most I've observed are completely ignoring Harrisburg at this point, what is actually enforceable?
ReplyDeleteMy township...Only thing more rare than a case of Covid-19 is a person wearing a mask.
ReplyDeleteCovid-19 is like playing six-degrees-of-Kevin Bacon.
A friend's, cousin's, brother-in-law's, uncle's, boss's, mother's, grandmother had it and recovered.
Hooray for the states of NJ, NY, and CT imposing a quarantine on travel from high-rate states. Europe should be doing the same. Maybe they'll start to call it the USA Virus.
ReplyDelete12:36, my doctor says it's very real. I'm going with my doctor.

The governor had the power to enter the emergency orders. The PA Supreme Court agreed. The remaining question is whether rescinding the governor's order is subject to his veto.
My doc is a guy who never wears a dress in public. He says it's serious. But aggressive hand washing and isolating the elderly are more than sufficient at this point. I'm going with my doc.
ReplyDeleteThe 10,000 question nobody is talking about. What is after Green? NOTHING UNTIL A VACCINE IN PA. Check our PA DOH. %&^$%& Wolf!
ReplyDelete5:46 you could have just said you were a bigot and left it at that
ReplyDeleteBernie, from a "lawyerly" perspective, what does signing a waiver mean with respect to a disease like this? What exactly gets "waived?" I have never really understood the many waivers I have been presented over the years. Just know, over the years, they have been presented to me before receiving many services.
ReplyDelete6:33, The attorneys I have spoken to do not think much of them, but they are a stumbling block for someone asserting liability. How can a waiver be knowing when so much is unknown about Covid-19?

My guess is your barber will say you need a haircut.
The more interesting things doctors say are the things they say to each other, I think you'd be surprised.
I also have access to secret information that shows all of my opinions are correct. Funny I haven't seen you at any of the meetings.
ReplyDeleteAnon 11;16, you can get your medical advice from your barber, most people will get their medical advice from their doctor.
ReplyDeleteI think doctors would be surprised that you think you know what they say to each other. Your tin hat receives doctors brain waves does it.
