A Gracedale Nursing Home staffer has tested positive for Covid-19. At this time, no Gracedale resident has tested positive for COVID-19.
Gracedale is working with the PA Department of Health and following all recommended protocols. An isolation ward has been prepared should any of the residents begin to show signs of the virus.
Residents and all employees at the nursing home are regularly monitored for signs and symptoms of Covid-19. All staff and residents have their temperatures checked multiple times a day and every resident has their vital signs, including oxygen saturation, measured at least once a day.
Gracedale was closed to volunteers and visitors on March 11th.

So, we’re right about that pivotal infection period that is often seen. Remember, it is elderly, and those with weakened response systems due to serious pre-conditions. Certainly, other persons can get this, too.
People may begin to understand the seriousness and stop[ being selfish.
All of you belly-aching about your loss of liberties are denying life to others (and who knows, possibly yourself). Folks need to calm down and stop listening to exaggerations I've been reading on this blog. I've been out walking everyday and as long as folks keep their 6 foot distance no one is complaining about anything. In fact people tend to smile and acknowledge each other more I've found. The Gestapo is not coming for you, just the virus if we're not all careful. Bless the folks and staff at Gracedale.
The Gestapo isn't coming and hyperbole is unhelpful and lazy. Liberties are permanently lost at times like these. Those willing to surrender them wholesale at the drop of some politicians hat, are likely already wards of the nanny state and simply want more milk.
McClure works the Gracedale employees like dogs with excessive hours and understaffing. It was just a matter of time.
Nope, no sign whatsoever of Gestapo-like tactics.

"Starting Saturday, Rhode Island law enforcement officers and the National Guard will be "going door-to-door" in coastal communities, asking people if they've been to New York and requesting their contact information, she said."
And when all this is passed, this will be considered a "model" for how to respond to any crisis.
Enjoy those internal combustion engines while you can folks.
Do you suppose these would be the SAME people, 9:05, that refused to support building a better border along our southern border? I say, very likely, even more hypocrisy.

I guess they're OK with those warrantless intrusions as long as they're not being conducted by ICE agents.
Coronovirus? "We must give up civil liberties to save lives."
Victims from violent criminals crossing the border and living among us? "Open borders are too important. Can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs."
First concerns are the RNs ,AIDS, and Staff who are now front line gatekeepers. They must be equipped with masks, eyewear, gloves, and gowns..alcohol based cleaners...the concern is if there are not enough staff to carefully watch over the at risk residents and those that are working long shifts may fatigue easily and their immune systems become weak....this is not a time to be discussing civil liberty concerns, just being civil and acting responsible
Violating the constitution will create more masks?
God bless the staff and patients. The stress must be unbearable. So sad to read obituaries detailing private arrangements or services tbd. Tough times ahead.

I happen to have a higher regard for my liberties than you., And unlike you, I am not paid when unable to work. Wolf has deprived almost the entire state of its living, and without doing anything to help those negatively impacted and with no consideration of less draconian measures. You go ahead and enjoy your walk, knowing your wages will be paid and smear others who are rightly concerned about making ends meet. This is elitism at its finest.
What you fail to realize is that, in the name of an emergency, authoritarian government does all sorts of things. Here, Wolf is just applying his own rule unevenly, granting waivers to his pals and his own former company, while denying it to others. In RI, they are stopping cars with NY plates like it is Nazi Germany and even going house to house. In Texas, the Governor has banned all surgery not medically necessary, and has construed that to include abortion procedures. In Hungary and Thailand, Covid-19 is being used to suppress dissent. And in Chicago, you can't go for a walk.
These are not hollow rights, and I resent seeing you disparage just how important they are.
You can't lose what you never had to begin with, America and all it's principles are fairy tales.
Jeffery Epstein killed himself? Why would I, why would anyone believe this shit.

"Expansion of unemployment benefits to include people furloughed, gig workers and freelancers. Benefits increased by $600 per week for a period of four months."
seems you would fall into this category.
"deprived almost the entire state of its living, and without doing anything to help those negatively impacted and with no consideration of less draconian measures."
folks can collect unemployment.
along with the Fed help the making ends meet might just mean jumping thru hoops to get the Fed money.
Granted that might be a pain in the ass but it is not a death sentence.
Hey O'Hare I hear the Covid 19 virus doesn't have any affect on parasites, your safe.
It was a outside agency worker. Blame goes to? And this stuff has been everywhere since Christmas. Don't let this administration of fools kid you.
