West Easton Constable Arraigned on False Report Charges
The charges stem from a neighbor dispute in February, during which Mezzacappa claimed to have been accosted by a black gunman, whom she said placed a gun to her head. She told state troopers that she fired on this gunman when he fled. She said he ran into the home of the very neighbor with whom she was arguing moments before. After an extensive investigation involving four or five troopers and lab tests on her pistol, state police concluded Mezzacappa lied to them, and charged her. The charges were sent to county court by Magisterial District Judge Richard Yetter in August.
The maximum penalty for a third degree misdemeanor is 6-12 months in jail, along with a $2,500 fine. Mezzacappa can apply for accelerated rehabilitative disposition, but this would depend on both the state police and the person she attempted to frame.
She was acquitted recently after being charged with disorderly conduct after an altercation with her neighbor the day before her preliminary hearing.
Earlier this week, she lost a $12,000 claim she filed against Erie Insurance.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
The neighbor she tried to frame should sue her bony ass in a civil filing immediately after she is found guilty. Erie insurance won't cover her for that judgment. The neighbor can take her house to settle the award.
ReplyDeleteARD wouldn't be an option for her. She never apologizes and never admits to doing anything wrong. DA would probably insist she resign as a constable and should add a psych evaluation as part of any deal.
ReplyDeleteMezzacappa was warned her hate and lies would ruin her life. Unemployed, sued by her own family, scorned by her neighbors, dismissed by the Lehigh Valley GOP as an anarchist, a racist, and a black heart. ARD shouldn't be offered unless it includes meds to treat whatever mental problem she has.
ReplyDeleteShe really let herself go after the prom. All of he tormentors have prevailed and she's about to lose what little she has left. It's like an E! True Hollywood Story, except nobody's pretty or popular. And nobody cares.
ReplyDeleteShe is an evil person, one of the most evil I have ever encountered. But she is a person and Northampton County prides itself on being fair. I am trying to be fair, but think it is no longer possible for me. She has hurt too many people. Fortunately for her, I have no say in what happens. But if she insists on a trial and loses, there is little doubt in my mind that the most lenient judge on the bench will send her to jail. I also think the PSP and victims will oppose any attempt at ARD. If she tried to frame me, I'd say No. And that is what she does to people. She falsely accused me of rape and stalking. She even falsely accused me of burglary. . She falsely accused others as well. She falsely accused someone of running a pornsite. And now, she falsely accused someone of pointing a gun to her head. She has spent a lifetime trying to get others in trouble. Amazingly, a person with her personality disorder is an RN. I usually associate nurses with empathy and compassion. She has none. Her lack of empathy for others is a gaping hole in her psyche. It's sad bc she is very smart and could be a positive force. I don't care about her politics. I care about her malevolence.
ReplyDeleteCome on B.O. she more than once's wrote “YOUR” a pig kicker
ReplyDeleteI’ve enabled comment moderation so I can enjoy a basketball game and do not have to continue deleting Mezzacappa’s nonstop lies.
ReplyDeleteShe’s in trouble be cause she’s stupid. Not a smart person Bernie. She won’t probably ever see her firearm again because it’s in an evidence from locked up with tags on it. She screws herself.
ReplyDeleteYou never should have had to endure what you went through on account of her.
ReplyDeleteRespectfully, though, she is not evil, she is mentally ill, and her illness drives evil behavior. Hopefully this latest episode will compel the treatment she so desperately needs, and if there is probation, it's conditioned on adherence to a proper treatment regimen.
Thanks for the update. I was planning to attend the arraignment, but it was a nice day and I had something to actually accomplish, compared with witnessing first hand the continuing saga of this infamous and sad excuse for a human being. The last time I attended one of her hearings in the gallery, her pathetic weasel lawyer quizzed me on my identity. Of course that's none of his damned business.

ReplyDeleteResponding to the first poster here: How can you sue her and get money?!? LOL all you would have is a worthless piece of paper you that you can't cash in, isn't that right Bernie? Lawsuits aren't cheap and they certainly aren't worth it when the person you are suing has no money and nothing to take??
ReplyDeleteMezzacappa nothing you post will remain here unless you I’d yourself and respond to the charges
ReplyDeleteMom’s car in her name, house back in her name.
ReplyDeleteShe needs a prescription for Haldol. Maybe Thioridazine. Both would help her mental issues. They would be better than the empty wine and beer bottles that overflow her recycling can.
ReplyDeleteAny Attorney worth their salt would insist on a psychological evaluation.
ReplyDeleteBernie, I am lost. I missed the point on your last line. She has $12,000 dollars? Thought she was broke?
ReplyDeleteAnd... she is allowed to possess firearms how with these and other charges? Do we know if she still has her LTCF? If so, why?
ReplyDelete"Bernie, I am lost. I missed the point on your last line. She has $12,000 dollars? Thought she was broke?"
ReplyDeleteI have no idea whether she is broke. What I said is she lost a $12,000 claim against Erie Insurance, not that she lost $12k.
