Donald Trump: Joker of American and International Politics
Most of you can see why he is the Joker domestically. Just check out his alligator-infested moat.
But I want to detail, just a little, why the impeachment process is so necessary. Many of you are unaware Ukraine is currently embroiled in a war with Russia (using separatists who just happen to be supplied with advanced Russian hardware). Over the past five years, 13,000 Ukranians have died. Another 1.5 million people have been displaced. Ukraine forces have held their own, but they rely on Western support.
Instead of being concerned about this Russian threat, Trump actually was unwilling to help or even talk to Ukraine When he finally did talk to President Zelensky in late July, his focus was a political opponent and his desire to make Ukraine an ally in an attempt to smear him. The fight with Russia was never even mentioned. Of course, this is criminal. Even more worrisome is that Trump is undermining both our security as well as Ukraine.
And Vadimir Putin is laughing.
So is Kim Jong Un. He now is launching ballistic missiles with impunity, with nary a word of condemnation. "Nothing to see here," sez th Joker. "Move along."
He has alienated our closest allies while cozying up to dictators.
In the meantime, he may have lobbied Japan Prime Minister Shizo Abe to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
He's the Joker.
Updated 9am: The Joker has now abandoned the Kurds, who fought against ISIS in Syria. He's pulling American troops out so Turkish authoritarian Erdogan can begin the expansion of his renewed Ottoman empire. Instead of being critical of the authoritarian, the Joker chides betrayed Kurds and, of course, our European allies.

VOTE BIDEN
ReplyDeleteWho's paying for the wall?
ReplyDeleteWhy the defiance in producing Trumps tax return? What's there or not?
History will not be kind to the GOP members who protect Trump and ignore the Constitution.
ReplyDeleteThis Democrat-run, PRETEND impeachment effort won't hold-up. Until it passes a full vote in the House it's just for show. The goal is to continue with meaningless hearings and to dirty-up Trump before the next election. The liberal news media will buy-in, but not enough American citizens. Most have had about enough of the nonsense.
ReplyDeleteMembers of the House and Senate from both parties are running scared because the Biden family matter is a reflection of their own misdeeds peddling influence and graft.
The gloves are off, now.
A lesson for the MAGA Mob: pay off hookers, hide taxes, persecute immigrants, bow down to Putin, file bankruptcies, violate emoluments provisions and use crooked Rudy to promote conspiracies. Keep it up and this great experiment in democracy will go down the tubes,
ReplyDelete7:22 - you would make a good 3rd whistle-blower. Jot it down on paper, send it in. That's all it takes. At the very least, you'll get interviewed by CNN.
ReplyDelete7:32...get help, you are losing it
ReplyDeleteWho's paying for the wall?
ReplyDeleteYea and Trump has activated the Marines for the domestic terrorism being conducted as good government by the obstructionists. I know the hate for trump is one thing but to hold America and all Americans hostage is a form of treason. Government has accomplished nothing in the almost three years Trump has been in office. One judicial Senate after another hampering any good that could help America move forward from the HELL created that has made America a runner up for the new third world country evolved downward.
ReplyDeleteThe hatred that is spewed forth by some of your readers is disgusting. They call for violence against their own fellow Americans because of political views. They don't have the intelligence to reason and obviously lack the ability to verbalize their thoughts without malice. If some of them had their way they would use what-ever means possible to silence anyone with opposing views. This isn't what I gave four years of my life in the military to promote. Freedom of speech is one thing, but can't you be civil and make if constructive criticism?
ReplyDeleteIt's: "We The People" not "I" Trump and his quest for the almighty "$$$$"...
ReplyDeleteI am also deleting blanket condemnations of Democrats. Think. If you want to support Trump, actually say something.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteThink about your country.
Vice President Biden is one of our own and a great friend to President Obama.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry he'll be stepping down in 2024 so his son can run. He's going nowhere! All you and the others can do is try and cry!
ReplyDeleteSo you concede he's winning in 2020. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHere's a direct Trump quote following his decision concerning Syria/Turkey.
ReplyDelete“I held off this fight for almost 3 years, but it is time for us to get out of these ridiculous Endless Wars, many of them tribal, and bring our soldiers home.”
Millions of Americans will endorse Trump's decision to leave Syria. Let the Middle East figure this all out, and the European Union nations step-in if they think necessary.
At the expense of betraying the Kurds and weakening our own national security as ISIS is resurrected and Russia makes inroads. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteEven Lindsay Graham condemns this poorly considered shift in foreign policy by the Joker.
ReplyDeleteI see a few things wrong with the Trump Presidency. His tweets for one. However, sorry to say, the Congressional Democrats are way out of line with this impeachment inquiry. The only reason Pelosi went along with it is to protect Biden and his son as well as the her own son who may appear in the news in the near future. The Democrats looked in to the 2016 election for fraud and now Barr is also looking into the 2016 election from another point of view. Hillary is still in the picture as far as the e-mails are concerned. There is swamp in DC that must be drained from both the left and the right. Congressional term limits could prevent some of this as well. I see nothing wrong with low unemployment (wages are slowly rising), some what stable fuel prices, 401K's where doing well until the announcement of the impeachment inquiry (many believe the democratic party want the economy to crash), Troops oversea's coming home, Foreign governments paying more into NATO and the UN.
ReplyDelete“A stain on America’s honor. “ Graham. Guess he’s a traitor, too.
ReplyDeleteIn our bias opinion
ReplyDeleteAbandoning the Kurds is disheartening and wrong. They've fought by America's side for 100 years, since WWI. It's like when Carter abandoned Taiwan. This isn't about ending endless wars (a noble pursuit). It's about remembering friends and reliable allies who've fought and died with us for a century. Shame on him and us.
ReplyDeleteTrump had to find something to draw attention away from impeachment.
ReplyDeleteLooks like he is willing to abandon an ally and see ISIS rebuild in order to save his own ass.
Maybe Graham, McConnell, and the rest of the GOP will see they have a self-serving nut in the White House.
Turkey is a member of NATO. You do what you have to do. I also thinks it's wrong to abandon the Kurds. Let's how we can negotiate with Turkey to not enter Syria. The mindset of these religions is unbelievable. Why can't all religions live in peace.
ReplyDeleteedit let's try to negotiate with Turkey
ReplyDeleteBOH 8:57 and 9:01. Censoring Trump supporters? Is that really what you’ve resorted to?
ReplyDeleteWatch the investigative reporting video on youtube by Beck exposing Biden, Clinton, Obame and DNC for corruption using Ukraine to win 2016 election. Except they didn’t and now they’re being exposed.
Educate us how any of these facts are fake news. Watch the 50 minute video and tell me where the facts are wrong. If there is no Deep State, if there is no DNC corruption, then show us.
I think this YouTube comment on the video says it best:
"This (video) is why Obama didn’t want Joe to run for POTUS he knew that he would get them all busted."
And today, the YouTube video on BlazeTV "Ukraine Scandal Explained" barely shows up in a YouTube search. Why?
"populism giving rise to authoritarians like Donald Trump."
ReplyDeletePopulism? Don't be silly.
The Trump phenomenon, just exactly like the Rwandan genocide, was created by the Shoot & Scoot Media.
Wherever you are in this world, "the media is your worst enemy, Donald J. Trump". Truth has no meaning and lies don't matter a bit, until you recognize that the media only tells the truth when it's lying.
This could not be demonstrated more clearly than the Trump phone call and the Biden video essentially doing the exact same thing. It's clear now that it wasn't Joe's grief over Bo Biden's death that kept him from running last time, Ukraine and China funded Biden's decision to step aside for Hillary's run in 2016. Now we know Joe, it's time go.
Don't care about Trump at all but here is a question, why are we so into getting into an armed conflict? Who gives a fart what is happening between Ukraine and Russia? They both are none of my concern. America isn't, and definitely shouldn't be, the world police.
ReplyDelete"Abandoning the Kurds is disheartening and wrong. They've fought by America's side"
ReplyDeleteWait, aren't we over there by their side? Aren't we paying to fight and die for them?
Unless they are warlords and thugs we use as force multipliers in a unnecessary regime change war we owe them nothing. I would rather the money go to the our veterans.
1:41PM
ReplyDeleteIf the world is going to be policed who do you want doing it?
Sometimes America looks a little rough, rag-tag, and ugly, but...
"Would you rather be riding with Comancheros Granny?"
The way I see it Trump is going off the range even with his most ardent supporters. He says the hell with everyone else. He sets his own foreign policies, trade deals, military operations, media relations, intelligence operations, etc. through his tweets glued to the TV. The hell with congress too with his 'executive orders'. How long do you think can he throw people under the bus before they start to fight back?
ReplyDeleteNow we'll find out who the Neocons and Warmongers are. Also those whose campaigns (and families) benefit from our military/industrial complex. America is going to sit this one out. Other nations can finally step-up to fill the void. America's sons and daughters are too precious to waste on continuous foreign military escapades.
ReplyDelete1:03 so true you are-- the man in charge of this blog is afraid of the truth.
ReplyDelete1:57 PM -- Okay, so if we have to have a world police can we let Russia police its area and we police our own? Maybe we honor our own doctrines and do a sort of "Russia Monroe Doctrine" when it comes to Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteAlso if we have to have a world police I don't know who to vote for, but I know who to vote against, America. We have caused a majority of the majority of the world problems with our police work. We are literally the Palmer PD of the world.
I would die for the kurds how about the rest of you???
ReplyDeleteThere is going to be an eventual tipping point over the next 4-6 months, where the RNC will look at the polling and see the Electoral College math is not going to work out for them this time and begin to conduct triage. Trump will likely resign early in 2020 to avoid what would look increasingly like a November loss, plus enduring the likelihood of having to squirm with some battleground Senators having to scramble for their own survival if impeachment proceedings get that far. BUT - he'll do so as a Martyr for the Republicans, going out in a way to salute and further solidify his base by vilifying all those who attacked him. Then unfettered from holding political office, continue to provide his personal political commentary as a private citizen, which will be louder and even more pointed than it currently is.
ReplyDelete" ... we owe them nothing. I would rather the money go to the our veterans."
ReplyDeleteYour dad and grand dad fought next to them through two world wars. They'd want us to remain loyal to 100-year allies.
"I would die for the kurds how about the rest of you???"
We've never been called upon to die for them and we aren't now. I voted for Trump (or moreso against Hillary). He's dead wrong here. And his zombies are too hypnotized to call a spade a spade. We're stabbing a friend in the back for the benefit of a treacherous killer in Pakistan who gave refuge to bin Laden and couldn't be trusted with knowledge of the plan to kill him.
1:03 and 2:50, I certainly have no fear of the anonymous pussies who post here. What I am doing is deleting the usual mindless comments from Trunp’s Nazis, who think they only need to post slogans.
ReplyDeletePower abhors a vacuum. The world will have a policeman. Those who don't want that cop to be the US, had better be prepared to live under the new cop's rules. Readers of history understand there will be a cop.
ReplyDeleteLehigh Valley Ramblings
ReplyDeleteBernie, here we go with tomorrow s news today!
LVCI " He says the hell with everyone else. He sets his own foreign policies, trade deals, military operations, media relations, intelligence operations, etc. through his tweets glued to the TV. The hell with congress too with his 'executive orders'. How long do you think can he throw people under the bus before they start to fight back?"
ReplyDeleteHip Hip Hooray for Trump! I always thought 'The Donald" was an absolute disgrace as a human being, male but far from being a man, a useless eater.
But according to your own observation he has redeemed himself.
He tells congress to go to hell, plays the media as fools, says, foreign policy sucks, trade deals suck, military operation are prolific costly and many are lawless, intelligence operation are partisan and for sale, ect. And he throws politicians mostly has-beens from the past, and people we don't like anyway under the bus.
Donald J. Trump is the most entertaining president in the history of fake news, you could hide World War 3 behind this guy and nobody would notice.
None of this matters because the transcript has been out for two weeks and Ds have yet to move, despite saying they have the House votes. Another whistleblower (presumably because the first one is politically compromised)? Doesn't matter: refer to the first sentence. There's a reason they're scared shitless to impeach. Please, Br'er Fox, don't fling me in dat brier-patch. In the meantime, the Trump-deranged have more impeachment porn to whack to for a few more months.
ReplyDeletewell the first step for republicans is to get pence to resign and Comrade trump nominates an electable President to fill the vp slot then Comrade trump resigns leaving a viable candidate to run for office.otherwise say hello to President Pelosi.
ReplyDelete5:56 you are right Trump is not a Nazis dictator because they were socialists and Trump is far from a socialist the democrats are the socialists which needs a dictator which democratic candidate will become dictator of the democratic socialist party.
ReplyDelete6:10 you are out of your mind????
ReplyDelete5.52
ReplyDeletethe Dems are not finished looking into Comrade trump and his mysterious condo sales to Russian oligarchs, his abuse of charitable donations including the sham charities he has run.The strange loans for the flagship property from the Saudis .tax fraud in NY etc.
Make lots of popcorn as the dirt on Comrade trump is heavy and widespread.
besides the republicans might just decide trump is no longer useful to them and they have to defend their own seats.they will force the resignation just like Nixon
6.14
ReplyDeletewhy do you think that pence is viewing the underside of the bus?
the purpose is terrify the republicans in the Senate and get them to protect trumpie.
course relying on a politician to bet his seat on saving someone like trump is a risky business.
most likely they will show both of them the door but retain a republican in the high office
4:39PM "We've never been called upon to die for them and we aren't now."
ReplyDeleteWhat then? Would they like us to carve up out of some other nation or nations a homeland for them? And who will provide the force protection for that?
My dad and grand dad never once mentioned the Kurds and never thought them close enough allies to secure them homeland in the past.
Yellow Journalism
ReplyDeleteIN a recent op-ed in the Morning Call the leader of the local Chamber of Commerce made a comment about "The Hateful Drama in Washington". What a laugh. When Trump was elected this same person wrote that the was "giddy" over the election of Donald Trump. Also, the National Chamber Of Commerce spent millions to get Trump elected. Perhaps the local chamber leader is referring to Trumps critics.
ReplyDeleteLet's see . .
ReplyDeleteTurkey is a member country of NATO. America is a member of NATO. Presumably, NATO countries cooperate and support each other. Syria is not a member of NATO. Please explain the outrage over Trump following through on a campaign promise. That being to bring our troops home.
Turkey has embraced Putin and may not be a member of NATO much longer. What the Joker has done endangers our own national security. Try reading a bit. Even Fox is condemning this stupid move.
ReplyDeleteThe Lawless and Disorder Presidency.
ReplyDeleteSo it also portrays the County and its Executive.
ReplyDeleteThe one true freedom that distinguishes America from all others is the most important freedom of all, the freedom of speech. Sadly. extremists on both the left and the right want to censor or ban speech thy do not like. If we lose our freedom of speech, all the others are empty.
ReplyDeleteTrump holds himself out as the arbiter of speech. of truth. If he condemns your free speech you are an enemy of America. This is a dangerous threat to out most fundamental freedom.
Nazis were socialists who took private property and stomped on free speech and banned that which they deemed offensive. Both parties share strong resemblances.
ReplyDelete6:27 Someone oughta educate themselves on the difference socialism and fascism.
ReplyDelete"Even Fox is condemning this stupid move."
ReplyDeleteFortunately we don't have to listen to Faux news or two corporate senators, we have a Constitution that instructs our interventions in other countries.
Declare war Constitutionally on Syria, call up a draft.
FOX is heavily liberal now during the daytime since Murdoch's sons took over. No problem. More reliable info is out there on the internet . . . and with supporting documents!
