Carroll's Upscale Campaign Signs
His black and white campaign signs look more like mug shots than a way to draw votes. I'd say they look like they were put together by a cub scout pack, but that would be an insult to cub scout packs everywhere.
I believe it was Jacko the monkey
Tom obviously fared poorly in his funeral fundraiser.
No union sticker.
Though I'm unsure, I see no disclaimer. This is required by our campaign finance law. As a candidate for District Attorney, he should give at least some thought to following the law.
But thinking is hardly Tom's strong suit. In a Democratic majority county, he does need some Democratic votes to win. Yet on his DA Facebook page, he recently slammed Democrats. "The Democrat Party has shown its hand with Beto saying hell yes they will take our guns," he declares, illogically assuming that the position of one person is the position of the entire party.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Don't monkey around with tom Carroll. The Tea Party's man for the job!
ReplyDeleteIs he from around here? We should elect local candidates.
ReplyDeleteNo rainbows?
ReplyDeleteThe litter twins seem content on spewing our County with their signs two months out from the election. Traditionally, 30 days out is sufficient time to get your message out. Anything much earlier than that is trash. Stop trashing our County. The must feel entitled.
ReplyDeleteLet's see his tax returns? Nothing to hide right?

ReplyDeleteI don't think so. If anything, Labor Day was always the date where you'd start to see signs popping up.
Also, I think that court cases over the last decade have held that there are no time limits how early signs can go up.
That said, while the sign stands out because it's different, I'm not sure it gives the best impression.
ReplyDeleteIf he really wanted his signs noticed he should have worn one of his infamous monkey ties.
ReplyDeleteTom tops the competition hands down, ass up!
ReplyDeleteWhat does the Bible say about homosexuals?
ReplyDeleteWhat I will say is that someone's sexual orientation is irrelevant, and I find it very offensive when someone takes this low road.
ReplyDeleteWe Democrats have a presidential candidate who is openly gay. So what?
Attack Carroll bc he is a racist, attack him bc his experience pales in comparison to Houck, but leave his sexual orientation out.
Bernie was the first one to make note of that fact, just in passing of course.
ReplyDeleteCan gays be racist? Or does that irreparably damage the time-space continuum? Does anyone have a scorecard? This is very confusing.
ReplyDeleteBuy local. Vote local.

ReplyDeleteThere will be colur added at a later date in the second run of campaign signs. Black and white still being the main colur scheme with rainbow unicorns shooting from his ass.
As for the vote local argument, that means Terry. He has spent the past 14 years trying cases here, while Carroll has been working elsewhere, and some of those years, for UPS.
ReplyDeleteGuess what was walking around Forks Twsp Community Days the a couple weeks ago in a Carrol T-shirt.
