DisGraced Again?

Ed DisGrace
Last time I wrote about Allentown Democratic operative Ed "DisGrace" DeGrace, he had just been convicted of summary harassment over a punch he threw at a fellow Democrat. He was fined $100 and ordered to pay costs for a total of $301.25 following a trial before Magisterial District Judge Ronald S Manescu. Guess what? It's happened again. Same charge. Same victim. Same judge. But this time, it is Allentown police who filed a new charge on Tuesday, based on a confrontation the previous day.

Victim Tom Osborne, who lives near DisGrace, was confronted on his way home. From what I've been able to gather, there was no physical violence this time. Just death threats. Osborne declined to speak about the matter because it is still pending.

By the by, he is still a CCD instructor at St. Thomas Aquinas. The pastor there refuses to do anything about him. Hey, if the Catholic Church is willing to cover up the sexual misconduct of priests, what's the problem with a foul-mouthed thug teaching catechism to children?

The mug shot you see above was taken on one of the occasions he tried (unsuccessfully) to intimidate me.

  1. That "victim" isn't in politics, is he?

  2. Bernie, speaking of intimidation in Allentown, check out former candidate for mayor Luiz D. Garcia’s Facebook post from yesterday. It appears that there is way more going on behind the scenes at the Allentown Police with the Chief and union president.

  3. DeGrace along writ Rick Dougherty and Alan Jennings remained die-hard Pawlowski supporters right up to the moment the corrupt mayor was led away in handcuffs. Pawlowski is in the Federal Penitentiary but many of his closest collaborators and enablers like DeGrace soldier on with their tentacles in all sorts of community activities.
As the lead FBI Special Agent in the Pawlowski case has said, corruption runs deep in Allentown and continues unabated. To believe otherwise is delusional.
Thank you for your continued vigilance, sir.

  4. Something's fishy. Has anyone ever seen DisGrace and Caesar Romero together? I didn't think so.

  5. This guy sounds like a big, dumb bully. It's NOT OK to intimidate opponents using threats of physical harm. Animals bow-up, show teeth, and growl. They don't have the intelligence, nor reasoning to express themselves any other way. This (evidently) maladjusted human should be avoided. Dangerous behavior.

  6. He should be sent to prison where he may put that hilarious flavor-saver to good use. He looks handsome enough for prison.

  12. How about you do a story on the local republican party in Northampton County and Warren County. They had to pull some disgusting things off their sites. In Northampton County they refer to democratic women in Congress as the Jihad Squad. Will you be discussing that?
