God Save the Queen ... From Donald Trump

As we awaken this morning to brush the cobwebs out of our eyes, the Boor-in-Chief will have already touched down for a state visit to England. According to the Guardian, one of Britain's most respected publications, this is a mistake:

"[T]here is more at stake here than pomp and circumstance. Mr Trump is a demagogue who represents a threat to peace, democracy and the climate of our planet. As elected leader of the UK’s closest ally, he can’t be ignored. But making him, his wife and four adult children the honoured guests of the Queen risks legitimising his destructive policies, his cronyism and his leanings towards autocracy."

  1. The real cry-babies here are Trump haters like O'Hare. He can't stand success because his own life has been such a failure. So call our successful President a boor, an autocrat, a dictator, whatever makes you feel good in your miserable existence.

  2. Our esteemed President will surely help the Queen and the next Prime Minister make England great again, even as he continues to make America great again!

  3. The Trump Presidency is a good tghing. We American love to think of ourselves as the exception to the erule of history. We are better, smarter and more novble than any other people. If you ever question that you are a traitor.

Trump puts a mirror up to all the reasons we are no better nor worse than history. We are good and we are bad. Trump exemplifies all that is bad about Amerca and the rest of the world sees it and us for what we are...

He is a stain on our history.

  4. This is not the first time Trump has met the Queen, She actually likes Trump if you check it out. The Uk needs someone like Trump if it is going to survive, and the Queen knows it.

  14. I have read the Mueller Report. Nothing but hear-say innuendo.
I have watched CNN, MSNBC and Fox. Nothing but innuendo.
After doing the above, AND reading The WSJ, NY Times, Washington Post, Lehigh Valley Live, and The Morning Call: Nothing but innuendo.
After reading the Lehigh Valley Ramblings blog: Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Nothing will deter these formerly rational people. As their love for Hillary and all things liberal sink deeper and deeper into the past, due to the betterment of the USA and ALL Americans who are seeing what a good economy and functioning republican leadership produces; they now need to not banish Trump, but execute him. Removal will not satisfy the left wing. Only the death of /trump and his family will suffice. However, time will prove, and the future looks more and more =that the Republican side will reclaim the leadership and course of The United States.

  17. ”I have read the Mueller Report. Nothing but hear-say innuendo”

Unless you are the Attorney General, you have not read the report. Much of it is redacted. I have read the interacted portion and it is far from “hear-say” or innuendo. It in fact includes evidence in the form of statements from trump’s own team and documentary evidence.

Now I understand that Trump is a nonstop liar, but that is no justification for your lies. Even when anonymous, you should try to be honest. You are not.

  19. Good grief, Bernie. Knock it off! The full Mueller report is available online. It's for sale hard copy on Amazon. It is less than 3% redacted! The redacted parts are Grand Jury testimony . . . illegal to make public.

The totally un-redacted version has been made available in a secure room at the Capital to Congressional leaders. NOT ONE Democrat leader went to view it!

    THIS is fact.

    ReplyDelete

    1. That's not at all true. Barr has refused to comply with the Congressional subpoena to release the unredacted report to them. But even the copy available to the public outlines numerous offenses.

  20. Trump's economy is only good for the corporate elites. He gave tax cuts to the mega rich. Regular Americans are suffering. Farmers are being hurt by his stupid tariffs. He's trying to take health care away from millions. And he's about to get us into a war with Iran against the US' best interests. He's a con artist.

  23. Replying to O'hare @1:44
Yes, I DID read this Meuller Report assortment of newspaper stories, TV reports, NYT and Washington Poat report articles. Almost ALL of the second part is innuendo, personal accounts, and click bait directions leading to reasons to implement the "I" word. It is my opinion that the "I" word means Implosion for the democrat party. Don't take my word for this; listen to your 22/ no 23/ 24 posers for the downfall of America. America will sail smoothly till November 10, 2020, then the Democrat party will dissolve into nothingness.

    - You initially stated incorrectly that the report is available. It is not. There are huge redactions. This is not hearsay or innuendo, and it shows that the people who work for Trump incriminate him. In other words, it is damning. Whether his obstruction of justice or his commands that people lie are impeachable is a waste of tome bc the Senate will block any action the House takes. More important to me is all the self dealing he and his family have done. It is not America first, but Trump first.

I look forward to the day when the chief executive office of this country is finally held by an adult again, and not a petty, mean-spirited egotist.

  25. Mueller is a shitty prosecutor with bad ethics. Look at his record. Shocking. It would be easier to get Trump if those sent to do it weren't so horribly flawed and incompetent. And UK Trumo sentiment runs along US lines. Some love him. Some hate him. Just like here, and exclusive of Ireland, where Brexit and borders are a touchy subject for different reasons.

  26. I realize you want to divert attention away from the oaf in the Oval Office, but trying to do so with Mueller only shows you must be an idiot. A registered R, he served his country honorably inVietnam as a Marine. He was awarded a Bronze Star andPurple Heart while baby Trump sought five deferments. As a prosecutor he had an enviable record under numerous Presidents, and was Director of the FBI. He has integrity, a quality missing from “me first” Trump,

  28. Don't like Trump's personality, not my kind of guy, but I love policy platform, his sincere patriotism and what he is doing for America's economy. Democrats need to get over their case of TDS and start figuring out how to beat Trump in 2020. After all, the Democrats GAVE US Trump by running a flawed candidate and ignoring their traditional base, working class, blue collar Americans. All I see now is Trump appealing to the traditional base of Democrat voters and the Democrats veering off even further to the left. I don't honestly even know what the Democrats policy platform is anymore, except "We Hate Trump". I wonder if the Democrats will give us another 4 years of Trump.

  29. Are you out of your mind? His policy changes every ten seconds and no one who sought five deferments is a “sincere” patriot. Geez.

  34. The economy is flooded with low paying jobs. People are taking on more jobs just to survive. If you have a high skill level job you will make more as you always have.

The big attraction of Trump is the fact that the stock market is flying. Of course it would he since has pushed back any and almost all safeguards. Sadly today many of these trumpahoilics don't gave a shot about the nation or their fellow citizens. All they care about is themselves and their portfolio.

A day will come when the chickens come home to roost on greedy policies designed to create wealth for the few on the necks of the many. It is a short term policy that in the new era of instant social media will no longer work no matter how much you try and paint it with patriotism and American flags.

When the bill comes due on his tariffs (republicans did in the early 19th century) and his bailouts to satisfy farmers and others, it will be tremendous. He has
already ratcheted up the National Debt and has no plan to reduce costs other than cutting social security and Medicare. The working class is seeing this and more is on the way. He is a con artist. The banks were ready to foreclose on everything he has until they realized that while he was a shifty businessman he had developed his name into a brand and they let it float for their own gain not his. Get our of the bubble. Your hatred is getting in the way of your reasoning skills.

    He is a fraud.

  37. Is there anything specific you actually like about Trump, though? Or do you just hate Democrats and/or brown people.

The only things I can think of that conservatives might like are his court appointments of ideologues who regularly issue nonsensical opinions, but those were more Leonard Leo and Mitch McConnell's doing than Trump's. Maybe you also got a slight tax break, but odds are your tax refund was actually smaller this year, and you are probably paying the difference in retaliatory tariffs on foreign goods that you buy (or domestic products with foreign parts). Other than that, he hasn't done much of anything. And how could he? He can barely manage to string a sentence together and doesn't understand his own job description.

  38. My disdain for him has nothing to do with policy, which he changes every ten seconds anyway. It has everything to do with his ugly personality. He is a classic narcissist who puts himself ahead of everyone. The English have his number. If just heard on npr all things considered that his approval rating there is six per cent.
