Mayor O'Connell to Deliver "State of the City" Today!

Late yesterday, I received notice that Allentown Mayor Ray O'Connell will be delivering a "State of the City" Address today at noon at The Palace Center, 623 Hanover Avenue. This is being hosted by the Greater LV Chamber of Commerce. It's sold out too. It costs $39 for members and $69 for non-members.

Given a 27% tax hike, the state of the city should be pretty clear.

    Those prices are now $49.53 and $87.63. You forgot to add 27%. Also, I plan to keep the audience waiting until the last 10 minutes before I commence my stem winder and make a bunch of shit up about how great things are going. Spoiler alert: does rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic come to mind? LOL. FYI and thanks, Bernie.

    O'Connell the sneak and not really elected by the people will bullshit the hell out of the Allentown people also spend 1 million on a 200000 job

    O'Connell is a democrat liberal administrator who will tax and spend Allentown will end up like most democratic controlled cities

    Hershman, Hunsicker, Hahn and Ringer are his special guests today.
    To be fair, I was at city council the other night and Ken Heffentrager complained about paying to hear the address.O'Connell told him he will give it to the general public at no charge in council chambers in the near future.

    My street better be plowed this snowstorm or I’m charging the city. Every year we have to shovel the street by hand so the few that actually have jobs can go to work.

    We all blame O'Connell when the fact remains that these experts are still hiding and working for the indicted one. This fabricated farce to the demolition is to knock down capability and cognazant complicity of these the very types of catastrophes locals under the heading of commonwealth have been involved in covering up for years.
    As for the streets plowed is a joke engineered by those pissing there pants while boss Hogg vacations.
