Glenn Reibman Proposed For Airport Authority

Executive Lamont McClure has nominated one of his predecessors, Glenn Reibman, to serve on the airport authority. Reibman was NorCo Executive for two terms. If confirmed by Council, he will serve for the next five years. He will replace Anne Baum, a Capital Blue Cross exec and one of the Lehigh Valley's most prominent women in business.

  1. This is a bullshit shot at Glenn Reibman. You should be ashamed and you know it.

  2. I took no shot at Reibman. So far as I know, Baum was not interested or there may be some other problem. Geez. You are just insane to interpret this as a shot at Reibman. Totally bonkers.

  3. You're right. That wasn't a cheap shot at Reibman. A cheap shot would be something like ....Reibman is qualified to be on the Airport Authority because he lives near the airport in Forks township.

  5. Baum was interested, but Council tabled the lame duck appointment. Lamont is choosing to replace her.

  6. Here we go. As I previously stated here and on other media sites. The good old boy Bethlehem network appears to be back in charge at the courthouse. I wonder if I'll be sorry I voted for McClure? Apparently he is not in charge.

  9. It doesn't matter what he does. it's all about the $$$$ and backroom dealings. Should have had a FBI investigation when he cost the taxpayers millions in that bond he "floated" . Bet there was illegal dealings involved with that as well
( remember Jim Hickey was here first).

  11. Airport authority board members are not compensated, except for free parking at the airport for meetings, and lunch if any meeting is scheduled for noon.

  12. Oh wow. Glenn...... wow Glenn like a turd in the bottom of the bowl... has just floated to the surface.... Sadly... McClure could have been the best and instead he dredges up the septic of the past.... So many bright younger Dem's to choose and he rejuvenated a turd....

There is no salary. He serves as a volunteer.

I don't really know that, but even if true, Lamont can find something else for her. Glenn Reibman is a two-term former county executive and a former president of county council. If he wants to serve on the airport board, then he should serve on the airport board. He understands the county.

Um, he does live in Forks, but several miles from Braden's. Don't let the truth get in the way of your anonymous hate.

Um, Pintabone and Reibman are from Easton and Forks, but of you lie about voting for McClure, I suppose you'll lie about other things.

  18. Does anyone remember the sweetheart deal he got in the job at the bridge commission? Some say he earned it, some say he paid for it. After the crap job he did for Northampton Cty. can't believe McClure not ashamed to appoint him.

  22. This is your fault. It is a shame you targeted Glenn Reibman like this. You knew what would happen. Wonder if you would do the same to Stoffa.

  27. One person thinks I hate Reibman and posted this story so that assholes like you couold attack him. Assholes like you think he is a "mancrush." I posted the story bc he is a former Exec and is serving the county. I will be doing a similar story about Jerry.

  28. Reibman isn't the first to get a job with the Bridge Commission post Northampton County and will probably not be the last. Good old boys network.
