We need to have a showing of people like that again on Tues April 11. This is the day that the judge in this case has opened the floor for anyone from the public to make comments. THAT IS A VERY IMPORTANT DAY for you to come and make comments so that the judge can understand the importance of Green Pond Marsh to this community and to the over 180 species of birds that use it. Even people from outside Bethlehem Township will be allowed to speak.
In the past month there have been over 25 hours of testimony on six separate days presented to the judge who will decide the fate of Green Pond Marsh. April 11 is your opportunity to really help SaveGreenPond.
The final hearing date is set for April 11. The time period for public comment on that day is from 7 to 10pm. This is our final opportunity to speak directly to the judge who will be deciding the fate of Green Pond Marsh. This is a critical meeting; please come and speak on behalf of Green Pond Marsh.
Hearing schedule for April 11:
4-7pm; continuation of witness testimony.
7-10pm: Public comment
The hearing will take place at:
Bethlehem Township Municipal Building
4225 Easton Avenue
Bethlehem, PA 18020
Phone: (610) 814-6400
Thank you,

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
What marsh? Nothing of significance this year so where are the birds?
ReplyDeleteThousands of birds utalize this priceless and irreplaceable site.
ReplyDeleteTo destroy the precious resource would be criminal in every sense of the word.
they reconstructed the green pond road, raised the roadbed and robbed the marsh of its water source, this is what your township leaders have been up too behind your back, this is something that was being methodically done for many years now. And your just catching on to it?
ReplyDeleteSave our water resorces, Allentown has done a wonderful job of pumping millions of tons of treated human waste to its inhabitants! I would not let Bernie's stalkers pig drink from the creeks and streams there.
ReplyDeletePlease Please Save our water aqifiers natures purification has always been best!
