Chris Pez Waging Write-In Campaign For Allentown Controller

Chris Pez lost an election challenge in Allentown's GOP Mayoral race, and has decided to wage a write-in campaign for the Republican nomination. Incumbent Controller Jeff Glazier, a Democrat, is running unopposed. Pez is a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and Arizona State University.

  1. Has anybody ever seen Jeff Glazier at Council meetings? He sits there and looks totally disinterested usually biting and picking at his fingernails and lounging back in his chair like is taking a nap? The guy looks about as unprofessional as you can be.

  2. I welcome Pez' entry into the controllers' race against Pawlowski toady Jeff Glazier. Let's Build supported Republican Ramos against Democrat Koval almost two years ago, and we'll support Pez this year for a similar reason. It's just unacceptable to have another political hack running cover for Pawlowski.

  3. Chris back peddled when it came to Hyman and apologized for accusing him of challenging him, when most of us know otherwise. My opinion is this is an obvious desperate grab for power, in going for this right after losing the challenge and going turn coat. Also with him issuing that apology to gain support for his new campaign while appearing to ride the fence. Clearly he just wants any position of power in the city.
