Nazareth Mayor To Be Arraigned June 23
Nazareth Mayor Carl Strye, who has waived his preliminary hearing on charges of skimming $8,000 from gambling operations at the Vigilance Hose, is scheduled for arraignment on June 23.There is no doubt that he is going to apply for ARD, a special program for first-time. His resignation as Mayor should be required, especially since he has shown no remorse. He's in Indiana right now on what is at least his fifth trip since the beginning of the year.

Scary stuff right here. It is my understanding that if Strye resigns(not likely)the people of Nazareth would get Larry Stoudt as the mayor.
Now these folks have a real issue on their hands.
Nazareth is at the point of no return.
It sickens me how Carl has all his crony friends believing he did nothing wrong. If you mention anything to anyone connected to Carl they immediately defend him. This guy has no shame!
Strye is to Nazareth as Barry is to D.C.
Instead of asking why Carl has many friends, perhaps you should ask why you have none.
I haven't asked why he has many friends. I know why. He is Mayor. They attract many fair weather friends who disappear the moment they leave office. I have fewer friends, but I can count on them and they can count on me. You are consumed by hatred.it will probably knock a good 20 years off your life unless you get help soon.
Will there be a special election for Larry's position on council? Will there be other people to fall from this mess? Thanks for the reporting.
If Strye Resigns, it will be up to Nazareth Boro Council to appoint a replacement. Larry Stoudt has no inside track to my knowledge.
Oh of course mayor sneakers is on vacation. Heading to the Indy 500 to see and be seen. What a wanabee!
