Hearing Scheduled For Fired Jail Supervisor

On Wednesday, I told you that Jason Rosati, a Lieutenant at the jail who was suspended without pay and ultimately fired in January for enforcing the uniform policy, is being denied his day in court. He appealed his termination to the County's Personnel Appeals Board and had a hearing in July. But since that date, no hearing has been scheduled while he has continued to go without a paycheck.

Late Wednesday, Rosati was informed he has a new hearing date on January 8.

  1. Let's see if the guard continues it again, like he has the several last meetings. I hope he wins and get his back pay for the last year and is offered his job back. Allen can not get away with this for enforcing a uniform policy.

  2. And my understanding is that the county was dragging its feet and is the primary offender, but it's wither the county or Rosati's attorney, and Christian Perrucci needs to stop being a nice guy. It is time for a monthly meeting that is canceled if there is no business. It is time for rules saying there will be no continuances once a matter is placed on the lest except for good cause, and granted by the Chair of the Board, not their solicitor.

  5. Like military structure ,uniforms and appearance are part of basic discipline. Although I have never been employed by the county at the prison ,I have worked a U.S.Marine Corps 'Red Line Brig' an nobody ever wants to ever return there. No chains and no ties or any shoes laces ,no metal forks or butter knives and no photos . You run a 'Red Line Brig --they almost never ever come back. Personal demeanor of the 'turnkey' OR OUR NAME FOR staff member was utmost to keep a tight component . An INMATE has nothing else to do but screw you over if they can administratively, OR physically.- The SAFETY of our Marines was absolutely dependent on each of us to tow the line every day. One wise guy staff member could have meant an injury if the inmate thought he could get away with it. .

  7. Bernie,
I love your blog. Always interesting to read. However, please have all your facts about Mr. Rosati BEFORE describing him as a Saint that was wrongfully accused. Karma has finally arrived and is taking it's turn. I'm sure Mr. Rosati painted you a pretty picture of himself to you. Let's just say that even he has skeletons in his closet. And THAT closet is located in the County Jail from BEFORE he made Lieutenant! I hope for his sake they don't come out.
