Angle Plants 50 Mickey Thompson Signs in Williams Township

Ron Angle is waging no campaign for Controller until and unless 250 Republicans give him a write-in vote. But on Monday, he did do some campaigning for Mickey Thompson, who is running for Northampton County Council's Republican nod against John Cusick in District Three. That District is a hodge podge that starts in Williams Township and ends up somewhere in Alaska. Angle planted about 50 signs in Williams Township, mostly because that's where Cusick lives. He even put one right by John's house.

A Cusick neighbor spotted Angle while he was doing his dirty work, and accosted him.

"You're Ron Angle, aren't you?"

"How the hell would you know that?"

"Because you're like horseshit. You're everywhere."

"So what do you think of your neighbor, Cusick?"

"I call him the vampire."

"Why?"

"He only comes out at night. Nobody has ever seen him in daylight."

  1. I've never done a write-in, but I'm going to for Mr. Angle. Barron isn't doing a crappy job, but the bulldog knows the finances of NorCo very well and I think he would be excellent in this position.

  2. Ron would be even better as the official raconteur. Nobody tells a story better than he.

  3. It is no secret to Northampton County watchers that Ron Angle hates Cusick over the council presidency flap. Angle declared he would stop him if he ran at large. This is no surprise. I doubt Angle cares at all about Thompson but is definitely working to knock down Cusick.

Ron Angle is a mean old man who holds a grudge longer than a beggar with a coin.

If "raconteur" is fancy liberal talk for "bullshitter", I have to agree with you.

This action is pure Ron Angle through and through.

  4. Angle does not like Cusick, but you're wrong to suggest this is just revenge. Angle does like Mickey and is quite impressed at how he handled himself at the debate you most likely missed.

  5. Yeah right O'Hare. Everyone is buying into the kinder, gentler Ron Angle. He will carry his hate of Cusick to the grave. He embarrassed Angle by out maneuvering him and Angle will hunt him for life over that one.

Thompson is just a convenient pawn. Lets keep it a 100, shall we?

  7. Bernie,
Ron looks as if he is sitting on the thrown and pinching a lincoln log¿ He should get with the allentown crew to spread some of that shit in the parkway¿ Than they can all claim the extinktion of the almost extinct outhouse shitfly is the reasoning to spread human waste in that county's parks too¿
TM, your arch nemisis could come also to disperse the crouds that used to gather there for family weekends¿

  10. Thompson seems like a carpetbagger. When he loses this race, he'll be back on the Bethlehem Township ballot for Hudak's seat in 2017.

  14. Tricia Mezzacappa, if you continue to violate the no-contact conditions of your bail, expect things to go very badly at your arraignment next week. It's bad enough that your impulse control issues have resulted in a major judgment that now is threatening your mother's $500,000 home. Now your unwillingness to follow simple directions will likely send you to jail. STAY OFF THIS BLOG.
